I'm a holistic nutritionist and mother to 3 beautiful boys. My focus in the wellness industry is on getting to the root of the issue. I truly believe we can start simply with food and lifestyle management. Working together, we dig deep into family histories and health histories and build a comprehensive plan around diet, lifestyle, and targeted nutrition. I'm a big foodie, and I experiment in the kitchen every day. If you follow me on social you also know I'm a garden enthusiast as well as a habitual coffee drinker!

In this episode, I talk about Spirituality versus Religion. What's the difference between religion and spirituality? ... Religion is a specific set of organized beliefs and practices, usually shared by a community or group. Spirituality is more of individual practice and has to do with having a sense of peace and purpose.
My message to the audience whether you practice spirituality, religion, both, or other options is to be less judgmental of others and instead pursue people's intentions versus their belief system.
I grew up Catholic and I abandoned that system for many years, for personal reasons. Now I created my own belief system where I adopt the parts of the Catholic religion that resonate with me and I merged it with my spirituality and mother Nature.
I know that my beliefs will change and evolve over time and I am okay with that, give yourself permission to be okay with changes because we are evolving beings

This is my summarization of the fourth agreement, do your best.
Per Author Don Miguel Ruiz "Everything you have ever learned, you learned through repetition and practice. You learned to talk, you learned to walk, you even learned to write by repetition. You are a master of speaking your language because you practiced. This is the same way that you learned all the beliefs that rule your life: by practice. The way you are living your life right now is the result of many years of practice.
During your whole life, you practiced every moment to become what you believe you are right now. You practiced until it became automatic. And when you start practicing something new, when you change what you believe you are, your whole life is going to change."

This is my summarization of the third agreement , do not make assumptions.
Per Author Don Miguel Ruiz "One assumption leads to another assumption; we jump to conclusions, and we take our story very personally. Then we blame other people, and we usually start gossiping to try to justify our assumptions. Of course, by gossiping, a distorted message becomes even more distorted.
Making assumptions and then taking them personally is the beginning of hell in this world. Almost all of our conflicts are based on this, and it’s easy to understand why.
Assumptions are nothing more than lies that we are telling ourselves. This creates a big drama for nothing because we don’t really know if something is true or not."

What does it mean to not take anything personally? In the book, Ruiz describes it like this: It helps guide you on how to react when a person uses their words or actions against you and how you can use it against yourself.
