Week 3 of our series 'The Struggle is Real' we focus on our struggle to follow Jesus from Mark 8:31-38. Choosing to follow Jesus requires us to give voice to the voiceless and provide healing for the sick.
Week 1 of our Lent Sermon Series 'The Struggle is Real' Pastor Scott focuses on Jesus temptation story from Mark 1:9-15. Lent is a journey through the wilderness. In order for us to arrive at the empty tomb on Easter Sunday it's important we name the struggles along the way.
Are we listening? In Mark 9:2-9 three disciples went up a high mountain with Jesus. Jesus was transfigured and talked with Moses and Elijah. A cloud overshadowed the disciples and a voice from the cloud said "This is my Son, the Beloved; listen to Him!" How are we listening to the words and message of Jesus?
Week 2 of our series 'Expectations' we focus on small groups. What makes small groups important for our growth in faith? How are we caring for our soul? What can the early church teach us about small group ministries?
