Most people have been impacted by addictions, whether they struggle themselves or know someone who has. Today we are diving into what addictions are, how they happen, and ways to overcome them by the power of Christ.
Crystals are a common and even trendy thing to believe in. However, they are full of false hope & will only lead to destruction. Our God is bigger than anything of this world and we must shine was children of the light in the midst of darkness.

As great a leader as Moses was, he was still a human with limits. Aaron & Hur help Moses intercede for the people & Jethro helps Moses see that what he is doing is not maintainable. This week we talk about the importance of bearing one another’s burdens & not trying to do it all.

Jesus tells His followers to watch their motives when they give, pray and fast. Who are they doing it for & who are they trying to glorify? We have to train ourselves to ask those same questions
Exodus Chapters 7-8. The plagues begin and within each plague God is tearing down the Egyptians reliance on their gods & displaying His glory to all people.
Jesus commands his followers to love their neighbors, which includes even their enemies. This love is persistent & requires a constant dependence on God working in us
Jesus calls His followers to go above and beyond to show love to ALL people in ways that don’t make any sense. Then, He lives out this radical & crazy love for us on the cross.
Exodus Chapter 4: God is a god who is patient and works through our weaknesses for His glory
Jesus takes the Laws of the Old Testament a step farther. He calls His followers to radically get rid of sin, love well & keep their promises.
Our young adult/college gals meet every week on Tuesday nights to study the book of Exodus together. Some of our gals can’t be there every week or go to school out of town, so we made this podcast for them! Feel free to join us every Tuesday night too❤️

Prayer is something we know we should do, but we often lose motivation, focus, or consistency. God promises that He is always listening and cares for even our little requests. Today we will be looking at what it means to pray fervently and how powerful prayer is.
