The Merging Logic & Instinct podcast is here to start the conversation around merging two seemingly mutually exclusive ways of being. Nicole Imbriaco is a tech-savvy MBA turned yoga teacher and reiki practitioner who brings mindfulness and intuition into the paths of others who are living less than the whole version of themselves. She also works with purpose driven entrepreneurs to merge logic and instinct to work smarter and expand their impact. Several catalysts in her life dramatically shifted her perspective on the world and altered how she wanted to use her energy and time while in this lifetime. These events led her to stop trying to force these two aspects of herself apart and finally pushed her to start integrating the two.
This show is a combination of solo-casts along with guest interviews with others who have welcomed this balance of logic & intuition into their own lives. Each episode is meant to offer an alternative perspective on life, way of being, spirituality, purpose, and inspire you to live a fuller and more whole life. After working on releasing old ways, offering herself the time and space, and progressing forward on my personal development and healing journey, hiding became something Nicole noticed she was doing more and more frequently. She started to bring awareness to where and how she was hiding parts of herself from those around her, in organizations she was associated with, and essentially from the fullest, best version of herself. She ends with a reflection of how hiding showed up in her life after starting to explore spirituality and looking inward and what that led to her missing out on.

Following the identification and exploration of systems to connect in, a release often is brought to the forefront of our awareness. The need to release old ways of being, narratives, relationships, paths, control. Often, requiring the closing of one door in order to open anew. This time of release can be challenging and can leave us questioning where or how to move forward. Nicole shares how she’s learned to deal with these periods of release and what has proved to be a useful way of dealing with it in the moment.

Small changes and creating new daily habits, often combine to create a system. A system that works off of one another, working towards a desired outcome. In the case of connecting in, Nicole shares more about the daily habits and modalities she’s learned to lean on which she views as a system that has helped her slow down, connect in and re-learn how to listen to her inner voice.

After openly exploring new modalities, opportunities, and potential paths forward, there comes a time to make a commitment. A commitment of energy, resources, time. Nicole shares more about what that step looked like for her at the beginning of her journey of diving inward, tuning in, and moving forward on her personal and spiritual growth journey. She reminisces on how easy it was to forego the commitments she made to herself when no one else was aware or working alongside her with it and offers ways to help you be accountable and supported at this stage. She ends the episode with sharing what she’s committing to right now and how that has changed over time in her personal growth journey.

In this week’s episode, Nicole Imbriaco deviates slightly from the usual series and shares a mindfulness meditation. A mere glimpse into the practice that has been instrumental for her in cultivating wholeness across mind, body, and soul. From that point forward, she slowly realized how critical meditation was for her in maintaining a general sense of wellbeing. Since then, Nicole regularly integrates mindfulness and meditation into her daily life.
Through her own journey of finding meditation and establishing a regular routine amongst the in-between of her busy life, she created a mini-course to help others find balance, clarity, and lean back into the essence of who they truly are.
