After losing senior Natalia Yoko to graduation and professional golf, Haas-Hegg went out and recruited Ting, who just led AU to a top-five finish in the NCAA Division I Athens Regional, earning the Jaguars a spot in the national championship tournament in Scottsdale, Ariz., May 19-24. Ting, from Miri, Malaysia, was the Southland Conference player and freshman of the year, leading Augusta to its second straight SLC title--this time by a single stroke.
