The Levites: Recent Episodes

Benedict Ojute

Levites' principal roles in the Temple included singing Psalms during Temple services, performing construction and maintenance for the Temple, serving as guards, and performing other services. Levites also served as teachers and judges, maintaining cities of refuge. This podcast is the medium to reach those who need words of encouragement and inspiration to move on. We have a foundation that provides basic physiological needs such as food, water, and essential clothing materials to the elderly and the less privileged. These responsibilities are carried out through the Levite Caring Foundation (LCF). Become a Levite today through donation or by lending your voice to inspire someone. Psalm 121 is a powerful Psalm that you can use to pray for your family each day. Psalm 121 is one of my favorite psalms because it focuses on the power and omnipresence of our wonderful God. God is all-powerful and is in all places at the same time (omnipresent). So even when we are not physically with those we love most, we can trust that God is with them and is watching over them.

Psalm 23 reminds us that in life or in death — in times of plenty or want — God is good and worthy of our trust. The psalm uses the metaphor of a shepherd's care for his sheep to describe the wisdom, strength, and kindness of our God. Recite with us and witness the power of God in your life. Amen.
