Letting go is an integral part of healing and finding balance and harmony within. Letting go takes practice, because we haven't been conditioned or encouraged to do this in our modern culture. It is only recently that it is more heard of and accepted as part of a daily routine or practice in Western Society. In this episode Rebecca will talk briefly about the practice of letting go and then you'll have the opportunity to practice yourself with a guided meditation.

Find a quiet spot without distractions and really enjoy the meditation. Rebecca will guide you to let go and welcome in stillness and mindfulness of the present moment. You will also be encouraged to 'remember who you are' so you can enjoy a deep connection to the very essence of you.

The meditation has music with the Solfeggio Frequency 432 Hz. This is a deeply healing frequency that reduces the heart rate, stabilizes emotions, and brings about clarity of mind.

CHAKRA HEALING - NOT JUST FOR MENSTRUATORS

Includes Self-Reflection & Sacral Chakra Meditation with 417 Hz

Join Rebecca for this week’s episode as she explains how and why emotions become trapped in the body, and why it is important to allow them to move freely, as nature intended. There is also a self-reflection exercise and a short meditation practice with a focus on the Sacral Chakra. This is the energy centre most related to repressed emotions.

Emotional health is often overlooked and misunderstood, and this episode gives listeners valuable and interesting insight into this, with a more spiritual and practical (rather than scientific) approach. Rebecca has helped thousands of clients with their emotional health in her work as a holistic therapist. She studies continuously and relies on both intellect and intuition to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.

"The word emotion comes from energy in motion, which is a reminder that emotions are supposed to naturally move through our body and be expressed. All energy should be in motion by nature. When our subtle energy channels and cells are blocked up with this old emotional energy that hasn’t been expressed, it will prevent new emotions from flowing freely.”

Are you ready to find out more and explore your own emotional energy? Jump in and enjoy!

This episode is a rerelease of my conversation with Sam Hadadi from back in 2021. This was originally released on my previous podcast for Ultimate Holistic Escapes and I thought it would be a shame not to use it here to benefit you, and possibly inspire you on your Mindful Cycle journey. This played a part in propelling me forward on my own path to a more mindful cycle, and I had my own coaching with Sam in 2021.

Why are periods such a taboo subject? Why aren't more women in tune with their cycle? Why do some women struggle so much with menopause? Did you know that a woman's cycle is very closely related to the seasons? There is so much important information available for women that has been disregarded, misunderstood and suppressed. In this episode, Women's Health Coach Sam Hadadi shares her wisdom, experiences and knowledge on women's health in relation to their natural monthly cycles, and we promise she will make you feel empowered and inspired, wherever you are on your wellness journey!

"There are other cultures around the world that celebrate a girl's first period and actually throw parties!... how different it could have been if we'd had this..."

"Stress massively affects female hormones, but nobody told me this."

This is not to be missed! Gather round with your girlfriends or cuddle up with a cuppa, hit play and prepare for a whole hour of honest and enlightening chat, tips and advice that could change your life for the better.

Mindful Menstruation (aka Cycle Awareness) is not a wellness trend but rather a way of life for the evolving woman. For too long now, many women have had negative feelings and experiences attached to their menstrual cycle. This hugely important and integral aspect of our human existence has been suppressed, ignored, misunderstood, ridiculed and seen as something shameful to hide away from. Times are changing - can we get a "Woop"? More and more of us are tuning in to our bodies and unlocking the suppressed wisdom it inherently holds. It really is an exciting time as more and more healers, therapists and teachers are incorporating new methods related to the menstrual cycle into their work to help women to heal naturally and holistically, connected to their own inner rhythms and cycles.

As well as explaining more about Mindful Menstruation and its benefits, in this 'Blogcast' episode Rebecca talks about how Stress Management, Food as Medicine and the Practice of Yoga can support a mindful and healthy menstrual cycle. As always, Rebecca’s podcast includes self-reflection for you and some golden nuggets of advice and inspiration for the listener. It is advised that you grab your journal and a cuppa, get comfortable and dedicate the next 20 minutes to you - you deserve it!

Quoted: “A woman in touch with the wisdom of her body is a woman that will heal the world” – Lauren Geersten kindly gave her permission for this to be used. Follow @body_connection_coach for more of Lauren's wisdom and inspiration. She is doing some really important work.

“Without the thinking mind you are vulnerable, because there is no mask or illusion. There are no options, but to be here now, exactly as you are; as your purest self.”

This practice will help you to connect with your spirit as you let go of unnecessary conscious thoughts. Includes an intro followed by a guided meditation/visualisation practice and sound bath with crystal singing bowls tuned to the notes of the solar plexus, throat and crown chakras, Koshi chimes (aria) and gentle piano.

Our mind is extremely complex. It has layers of conditioning and instinctive thought processes that don't always serve us, and a default stress response that often goes to red alert when there isn’t really anything to feel stressed about. The inner dialogue that controls our actions and decisions can be our worst enemy or our closest friend. Our mind kids us into thinking we are under its control and we can sometimes feel trapped between its shadows and our truest self, which could be bursting to come into the spotlight!

We have the ability to tap into the mind and take control, and with consistent practice we can become the master of our own mind and seriously improve our lives. It is true that our thoughts can create (part of) our reality, but what if we go beyond thought? Beyond the conscious mind and deeper into our authentic self; our spirit. This is the place where we find the real truth. This is where we can access our own reality, purpose and egoless self. What comes as a result is all waiting for you, if you are prepared to explore!

Your body has its own internal natural healing system which is often overlooked. In this blogcast, Rebecca explains what 'healing' means within the world of holistic health and well-being and how it is closely related to a spiritual path. She also gives some useful advice and tips on how you can encourage your own inner healing system to come into force (quite easily!), which is something a lot of people neglect if they lead busy lives or are unaware of the importance of this aspect of health and wellness.

"Healing is positive flowing energy so when it is up against a negative force, it has resistance to contend with, therefore making it more difficult for the body to reach and maintain a state of balance."

In this gentle but powerful meditation class Rebecca takes you through an introduction into mindfulness meditation which leads onto a fully guided, soothing and nourishing practice with ancient influences. Rebecca talks you through adopting the correct posture (which is so important!) and gives lots of little hints and tips to make the practice more enjoyable and less of a struggle. If you think meditation is not for you, or you have tried it and feel it hasn't had the desired effect, this class is most definitely for you. If you have learned meditation in the past and come off the path, prepare to be inspired as you return to the connection with your higher self.

Buddhism inspired meditation practices can seriously improve your everyday life, overall health and wellbeing. Buddhism teaches you to make your life a meditation and this practice is a great starting point if you are wondering where to begin with a spiritual path.

For more guided meditations and sound healing you will also find Rebecca on the Insight Timer app

Are you always busying yourself when you don't need to? Do you use this time to distract you from your true feelings? What are you burying? What are you afraid of facing? Masking emotions can send us off balance. Buried emotions can manifest in the physical body, sometimes as physical pain and disease. Allowing the flow of your feelings and emotions as they arise is important for holistic health and overall wellbeing.

Allow Rebecca to guide you to a place of surrender so you can be at one with your emotional self. Be free of all distractions, just for a short while and allow your spirit to flourish.

This episode's guided meditation focuses on self awareness and letting go of any blocked emotions.

If you could view life's difficulties with more optimism and let go of that lingering resistance, would you choose to? This episode explains the power of acceptance. When we accept change, we grow. If we resist, we suffer. This is a choice, and you have the choice in this very moment. When we make the choice to not be a victim of our circumstances, we begin to find the lessons in our experiences. This is spiritual growth.

Rebecca also shares part of her own journey to inspire you, and delivers a letting go meditation which works best outdoors, by a river. Alternatively, you can use it as a visualisation practice at home. It is a great tool to remind you to go with the natural flow of life on Earth.

Grab a pen/paper/journal, hit play and let Rebecca guide you to a deeper awareness of yourself and the ways in which you can choose to focus on positives, rather than negatives (default/stress mode). Use this as a self-care tool to look within and gain control. The mind can be our worst enemy but when we take control of this we become empowered.

This episode ends with a third eye chakra opening/balancing meditation. Please take care when coming out of the meditation if you go deep. Have fun with it and see where it takes you!
