We are All In The Game. The number one sports podcast that talks seasonal sports. Come join our team as we break down some of the most pressing sports topics known to us right now. This week we talk about the NBA Finals again, but after two games have been played. What could be the outcome on this Finals? Could either of them have changed their picks after the Dallas Mavericks lose two in a row at the Bahston crowd? Find out more of what the boys have to say about this series, as well as other NBA topics.
This week on AITG we are taking on the National Basketball League Finals. We have the Dallas Mavericks, and we have the Boston Celtics. The Boston Celtics are the favorites right now, they have the best all around team (for the most part). The Dallas Mavericks are the underdogs, and we have stats, we have some bad takes, and we have Matt's takes. We got it all, in the game.
Welcome back, not exactly a 3 year break. Hopefully we’ll be able to record more often, but with Rob and his wife having a newborn who knows. It’s a miracle we got this episode done. We talk the playoffs for National Basketball Association, and a few other things. Listen to Rob complain about not sleeping too.
BASEBALL SEASON IS BACK! This week on the American League, we talk about the power rankings of three teams. There are really only a few teams to speak about when it comes to the American League. We talk mostly about the Houston Astros, the Texas Rangers, and the Miami Marlins. This episode was filmed ahead of time on Monday April 1, 2024.
It is a sad time here at AITG Studios. UNC lost due to the All in the Game Curse, and Creighton also lost without being cursed. Somehow NC State looks more lively than Duke, snatching a win from them and putting them in the Final Four. NC State hasn't been to the Final Four, since their last NCAA Championship in 1983. What does this 11 Seed Team have in store for us in the coming days?
MADNESS!!!! It is all upon us now. March Madness, or the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, is finally here and already plenty of teams have been kicked out of it. Did you have Auburn making it far? Do you believe in the hype that is Purdue? Do you like making grilled cheese in the air fryer (set to 360 degrees F, for 8 minutes, flip after 4 minutes, trust me - Matt)? Find out what is to come from the Madness, as we recap what happened in the last week for a few teams.
On this Episode we bring you to not a deep dive. We are branching out in our topics for what we would like to talk about so let us know what you would like to listen to. On this episode we talk about singular players we'd like leading us to a championship. Barring Kevin Durant, who would you want leading your team? That's the question the Fathers tackle this week.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
These three players were not chosen for the teams, but were definitely in the running.
Kevin Durant: The Fathers felt that if one person has KD, then they automatically win. With insane gameplay that can make any franchise win (Unless you're the Brooklyn Nets(Ouch)), how can we include such a man in a line up?
Joel Embiid: This man has only just recently returned to practice with his team, after being injured since January 30th, 2024. We decided it wasn't right to not put him on the list due to his talent, but couldn't take him since he's likely out for the year unless something changes in the next few weeks.
Jamaal Murray: This person is difficult to judge. How do you not recognize him, but is he riding the coattails of another possible play on this list? We couldn't decide, so decided to throw him an honorable mention.
SPOILERS FOR THE EPISODE
Rob:
Jimmy Butler
Luka Doncic
Jayson Tatum
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA)
Steph Curry
Porter:
Anthony Edwards
Devin Booker
Kawhi Leonard
Giannis Antetokounmpo (Spoken as Gee-On-Us)
Nikola Jokić
On this episode we talk about the trade rumors in the NFL. We speak on two of the hottest areas to own an NBA team in the United States, the Heat and the Suns. Who will shine the brightest, and have the warmest weather on this DEEP DIVE!
This week on AITG we bring you the game you've all been waiting for. Move aside Brooklyn Nets, here are the real contenders. The Denver Nuggets, the reigning champions. Do they have what it takes to run it back, or was it all just luck of the draw? Their competitors, the Boston Celtics. Hailing from Beantown, the Boston Celtics for years have been a great team. Finding a way to be a top contender for decades even, what do this group have that other teams don't come close to. Find out all in this episode.
The Pelicans don't seem to be losing any steam anytime soon when it comes to winning this season, and the Orlando Magic are a tremendous team whether it's their young talent or their potential in the coming NBA seasons. Which team is going to dominate in 2024? Do they threaten to make some noise this coming Playoffs?
Here for a round two of the AITG Dundie Awards. Bringing back exclusive awards like the "George Costanza Award" for instance. We bring you other awards like the "Tyrion Lannister Award" and the "Game of Thrones Finale Award". This years Dundies is special because we haven't done one since 2021. We hope to bring back more of these fun episodes, as well as scenario episodes. Comment on our poll if there is a specific fun episode or segment you'd want us to work on.
On this week of AITG we take another trip to our new format. The Deep Dive, where we tackle the Indiana Pacers and the Sacramento Kings. Who do you think are the Chompions of this match? We would love to talk more about the Super Bowl match coming February 11, 2024. However, we can't add much to what we have already said. Except that Matt is sorry for saying the last Back to Back win was almost 70 years ago since the Patriots did it in 04 and 05 with Tom Brady. His pay has been docked for a ridiculously false stat.
On this week's super episode we bring you with the question several people must have had, how could the Baltimore Ravens POSSIBLY have lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. The answer may surprise you. How did the Detroit Lions collapse against Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers? Tune in with our many "sponsors" to find out why. We also have a new guest with us. The illustrious KARL to give us his take on the NFL Playoffs, and the Deep Dive we have between his New York Knicks and the Dallas Mavericks. Vote on the polls to let us know if Rob's coughing is too distracting.
This episode on AITG Bob and Alex speak about their picks for the NBA Deep Dive. This week, the Thunderous Thunder and the Cavaliering Cavaliers. The OKC Thunder, who did lose to the Nets I want to say, are taking the NBA by storm by having a nice record of 29-13 this week. The Cleveland Cavaliers, who did not lose to the Nets, coming in with a solid record of 26-15. Join us to also find out what our hosts have to say about the state of the Golden State Warriors, what will the future hold for them? Vote in this poll to influence our next episode of All in the Game.
This week on AITG we take a look at the next round of the NFL Playoffs. Sparks are flying in this episode with some hot takes from both of our hosts. We're talking about the battle of the legends between Patrick "Possibly Better Than Tom Brady Already" Mahomes, and Josh "Hey I'm Six For Six On Playoff Losses" Allen. We speak on all other play off games as well, for our second double episode week. Thank you for joining us for our 30th Episode on this heated play off season.
This episode of AITG goes into a deep dive about the Wild Card Weekend games for the National Football League. We can all agree that 95% of these games were not very exciting. However, we can also agree that if you are a Dallas Cowboys fan, you're not doing so well. Also if you are a Green Bay Packers fan, you're sitting there with your Cheese Hat saying, "Aaron Who??".
On this weeks NBA DEEP DIVE, we bring on the Sixers and Clippers. With some interesting developments branching out on some of the top teams in the NBA, we take on another deep dive formatted video after a tremendous response from our listeners last week. With 100 times better audio, and some of the best talking points about the National Basketball Association today, we bring on our Deep Dive of two Titans of the league. Vote in our poll to help pick a topic for our next episode!
This week we discuss the NFL Playoffs and who we believe will be in Super Bowl LVIII. We have quite a few hot takes when it comes to who is getting there, as well as our first edition of Father's Talking About Being Father's (name in progress). Vote in the poll attached to this episode.
On this episode, we take a dive into multiple teams in the NBA. Talking about the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Indiana Pacers, and talking specifically about individual players amongst these teams. Let's find out who's got long arms and which teams have some of the best big men.

This episode we are joined by two new guests, Scott Boyer and Joseph Chencharik, to draft the best sports movies of our lifetime. There may be some on this list that will surprise you. Some that you are surprised that didn't make it, and very possibly may enrage you that your favorite movie did not make it on the list. We decided to do our Top Seven movies in a snake draft format. As with all our other drafts, you the fans can go to _allinthegame on Instagram to vote for who you believe had the best list and will be crowned King of The Draft. Thank you very much for listening.

This week the gentlemen talk about a myriad of topics including the NFL draft which occurred last week which I think we can all agree was quite grand. They talk about how the MLB season is looking so far as well. And they end it with the NBA season. Who do you think is going to take it this year? Will the Nets find a way to choke? Will LeBron take it once again? Who knows, but we will cover that on All In The Game. Thank you for listening.

This week we open up about the major sporting event that occurred on Saturday night. For those of you that don't know there were a few major title fights that occurred at UFC 261. Not only that, but it was also the first time in over a year that there was a crowd at a UFC sporting event. The boys give their opinions on the fighters, the results, and much more. Also they talk about football picks and the futures of a few teams. To be honest, drafting in the NFL is really confusing. So just listen in to find out their opinions on these topics. Thank you for listening.

This week we take a look at the NBA with exactly one month left in the season and discuss what possible playoff matchups might look like. We also dive deep into the first two weeks of the MLB season and talk about some things that were surprising and some things that were not so surprising. We also discuss what we think is just a case of too small of a sample size or if there is room for concern with how teams started off the season.

This week on All in the Game Alex, Rob, and also Matt join in on the big moves going on in the NBA. We upgraded our recording equipment a few weeks ago and now have the ability to have up to four microphones on at the same time. Just as long as Matt remembers to plug it all in. The original recording session had gotten to two hours in total, but we needed to trim a little out. There big things occurring in the NFL Off-Season that needed to be talked about. So we decided to bring that back into the conversation. Be sure to follow us on Instagram for more content as well. That's _allinthegame on Instagram. In this short episode, Alex and Rob both create teams that they think are the best all star players this year. The real question stands, and needs to be answered by you, the audience. Who has the better team? Who's team would dominate the other in this battle of titans? Who shall be crowned the King of All Star Drafts. What are the top 10 games, matches, and sporting events of our lifetime? That's the topic we decided to have for our 10th episode special. We did a ton of research on different sporting events and decided to narrow it down to the sports we know the best. There could have been many different sports whether it was from the Olympics, Mixed Martial Arts, and countless other sports. We decided to settle on the sports we can speak the most knowledgably about. Thank you for staying with us for our first ten episodes. Cheers to stay with us for a thousand more.

Like last week, Rob and Alex are going to talk about the American League teams they believe are the ones to watch this season. They wanted to exclude those who are basically guaranteed to be in the playoffs so if they didn't talk about the team you love the most, chances are they think they are one of those. They get a little recap as well after being hammered by their Mets fans last week. They also talk a little bit of tennis and how there could be a new dominate force on the rise in the tennis world. Thank you for listening.

Alex and Rob talk about the basketball season so far. They wanted to talk about teams the teams they thought were going to be good but turned out to flop harder than LeBron in the finals, the teams that were supposed to be bad but actually are doing surprisingly good. They talk about all the teams they believe are worth talking about to this point. Thank you for listening.

This week Alex and Rob discuss who they believe are the teams to watch this year. Before that though, they talk about a little basketball. They decide to explain the ones they believe are really worth talking about. Essentially their main talking points are who has the ability to have a better season than they did last year. So if you're looking for big Dodgers talk I'll get it out of the way here. They were great, they are great again this year. Thank you for listening.

This episode features another mock-draft-like episode. Which of the most skilled athletes in baseball would we want in our team. We decided to place restrictions on our selection. Since non of us were alive for the likes of: Babe Ruth, Louis Gehrig, Willie Mays, Ted Williams...I can probably put a couple hundred names on this list, I think you get the point. We want the players who only played from the year 2000 to the current season (that being 2020 since 2021 season has yet to start at this time). Rob and Alex decide who they want for their teams, and Matt makes a team of his own from the pieces of whom they did not select. All around I think we all have exceptional players on our teams. Who has the best team though? Who would win the World Series game seven with this team?

To start off the episode, Rob and Alex talk a little bit of baseball. The real meat of the episode is as the title suggests. Who were the best NBA teams (between 2000-2010), who did not win in an NBA Finals? Ranging from stars who didn't amount to much success, to entire teams who just had an unfortunate series here and there. Rob and Alex take a deep dive into teams they believe were the best, but sadly not the best of the best.
