Mother's Day messages include flowers and inspiration thanking mother's for all that they do. Father's Day messages unfortunately have shifted in years gone by to, "you need to do better!" We live in an either stand up or bow down world! What does that mean? Either you take a stand for something or you are bowing down to it. Don't believe me! Look at this phrase, "Silence is Violence"... Catching on?

When you look at the 1% of the world the wealthy. Those who who seem to be doing BIG things! You wonder how did they get there? Were they a trust fund baby? Did they win the lottery? Did they stumble upon something life changing? Most of them came from nothing. Most of them sacrificed a lot of achieve a lot! God loves to do the same! God loves to take what the world might say is the least effective the least qualified and give them the biggest impact!
What does the phrase, "He Must Have Known" mean to you? When you think about the pain of life, the trauma you have endured, or anything that has brought trials in your life. How would it make you feel knowing that God knew you were going to go through that? What is your perspective knowing He Must Have Known?
We as a culture love to study what makes people and things work. Think about it! How many tests are there out there that tell you...your spiritual gifts, you enneagram number, love languages, strengths and weaknesses, leadership qualities and abilities. Have you ever asked what makes a true CHRIST follower though?
When you read the story of the sinful woman in Luke 7 what jumps out to you? Is it wondering what sin she committed? Is wondering why she anointed Jesus's feet? Is it wondering what her name was? These are all the wrongs things to be looking at. Listen in as Jordan sets the stage for the sinful woman and what we can take away from this amazing story!
Doubts. We all have them and they make all of us do things either for the betterment of our lives or for worse. Pastor Rob shares his own doubts and what they have done in his own life. Pastor Rob shares the benefits doubting has and how we can utilize it to further our relationship with Christ, but also how when we are not careful doubt can cause us to deconstruct our faith! How have doubts affected you?
In the book of Nehemiah we see a vision set before the people to action taken. In week two of Double Vision Pastor Rob sets the action plan behind the vision for Summit and how each of us have a responsibility to help fulfill it!
Proverbs 29:18, "Where there is no vision, the people perish..." Ever heard that before? Ever seen this ring true? The all knowing and wise band foreigner said in their song Double Vision, "Fill my eyes with that double vision, no disguise for that double vision Ooh, when it gets through to me, it's always new to me My double vision gets the best of me." At Summit God has primed us for a DOUBLE VISION! Despite the circumstances of this world and state of this world God has given us an opportunity to make a major impact for the Kingdom! A diagnosis reveals the problem and in turn gives you the plan you need to solve it. When have you last ran a diagnostic check on your life? Is your life what you want it to be? What would you change to make it better?
There are plenty of things that we are passionate about, things we invest our energy into! Have you ever heard the phrase you show me your checkbook and I'll show you your priorities? If you were too look at it right now how would you answer that question? Are you investing into the Christian things? Are you making a difference? Do you want to change that?
Fu-til-i-ty - Pointlessness or uselessness. What things do you find worthless? What things do you find worthy of your time? Your money? Your energy? When you invest in them do they give you a return on investment? Listen in to see what you could do to assess what you are investing into that might be worthless.
There is medicine for everything! Medicine for gaining energy, for calming down, for anxiety, for depression the list goes on and on. What if there was one medicine that is a cure for all? Are you interested?
We are made with a purpose! What does this mean? Think about the pottery you have around your house. Cereal bowls, flower vases, butter dishes and maybe even a gravy boat! They all have specific purposes and uses. What is your specific purpose? What did God make you for? Are you walking in your purpose?

After deciding if you want it to be the Best Year Of Your Life you have to devote the time and energy to following through with that! Really after you decide to do anything you have to devote time and energy to it. The world has an idea of what makes it the best year of your life that is very different from what God has planned for you! Which do you want? Are you willing to devote yourself to experience the Best Year Of Your Life?
Why do we hears sirens when a tornado is expected to touch down? Why does our smart phone make a loud noise when sending out an amber alert? The answer for both of these questions... PEOPLE MUST KNOW! In Luke 2 we see that the people must know about the birth of Jesus. Are you paying attention to these signs?
How do you plan for change? How do you handle change? What if you were able to look at even the loss of a loved one and see how MAYBE that loss was a good thing?

One question for you... Is sin outdated? If sin is outdated then salvation doesn't matter, which means Christ died for nothing. Think about that!
Where is the battlefield right now? What are we fighting for? What if I told you the biggest war we are facing is the war for our body? A war to determine sexuality, abortion, health risks, health conditions and the list goes on and on. How are you fighting in this war? Are you on the offensive or the defensive?
We live in a world that is de-sensitized to many things. Look at the recommended shows on Netflix and that will give you an idea of what the world has become so de-sensitized to that it has become normal. Do you see it? What comes to mind? Abortion has become one of these items. We want to live our life and not worry about consequences or inconveniences. Word to the wise...Choose Carefully.
We have stopped repenting from our sin, and begun identifying ourselves by our sin. It's easier to just be identified by our sin because there is no accountability necessary and you keep living the way you are. But with no accountability comes no responsibility. What do you believe the bible says about sex? About homosexuality? About open marriages? About pornography? What does the Bible say about our sex life?
It's time for a family meeting! We have to make sure we are aligned and on mission for Christ TOGETHER! We are going to celebrate what God has done in the last five years and look to how to be ready for what God wants to do through Summit in the next five years! Pull up a chair and let's make sure we do this together!
How do we solve racism? Do we have a solution? Does the Bible provide a solution? Can we fight racism with racism? There are so many questions that are being asked about how to solve this issue, and how to do it through the eyes of Christ! This is a topic that the church has avoided for too long and has to start figuring out how to offer answers to! Would you agree? Listen closely to what scripture teaches us about racism and how we can be kingdom minded in finding a solution!
Is God evolving? If so is the bible evolving? If God is evolving and the bible is evolving is Christianity evolving? In today's society, we are taking foundational beliefs breaking them down, and trying to re-invent the wheel. This message is essential for our world today and is the foundation for our series Truth In Love.
Do you know you are? Do you know what God says about you? The five words Christ-followers should be able to say with confidence is that "I KNOW WHO I AM!" Listen in and see what God say's about you and how to walk in the confidence of that!

We look at how he was able to stand up against Satan and demonstrate how we can do the same! In Luke 3:11-18 we see the story of John the Baptist a man who exemplified attributes of Christ that we all in some way have a hard time doing. A man who was generous, a man who was full of integrity and honesty, and most of all a man of humility. Which one of these qualities is hard for you to live out in your walk with Christ? Be honest. Set aside some time and meditate on this message. It's a simple yet convicting message that we all need!

Three simple directions prescribed by the doctor that results in positive and easily identified symptoms! First, to tell people the Good News. Second, to illuminate people's thinking. Third, to offer direction. This is a vital message to Christians today that should we choose not to follow could lead to the downfall of Christianity! Lean in and let's learn to be better LIGHTS to this world!
In week three of RX Pastor, Rob does a deep dive into Mary's Song. Luke gives us three symptoms of humility and three symptoms of pride that we can take away from this passage. The biggest one is pride... We as a culture have taken something like pride, that overall is a bad thing and leads to the downfall of individuals and organizations and made it a "good" thing! What happens when we trust something or someone more than God? We'll become disappointed. We'll become dominated.We need to trust God because as it say's in Hebrews 6:18, " God has given us both His promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie."

Which fool are you? Are you the Atheistic Fool believing there is nothing after this life? Are you the Materialistic Fool finding "worth" in the what you have? Are you the Worldly Fool following the wisdom of world? The Self-Righteous Fool thinking you have all the answers? Or the Religious Fool surrounding yourself with a collaboration of religious beliefs to make sure you have "all the bases covered"?
“And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. What is your value of family? What is your belief of the nuclear family? Does America have any foundation on the family anymore? What happens if the family goes in America?
