Afterward, we have an update on Marie Kondo's new approach to tidiness, as an update on discussions of her methods during Minimalism month.
This week, Len looks into bodily representation in media, including the lack of diversity in body size, skin tone, ability, etc.
To do so, she researched and reviewed media portrayals of diverse bodies and journaled her observations to share. During our open discussion, we discuss Len's impressions of 2023 Oscar-Nominated film, "The Whale" and 2001's romantic comedy "Shallow Hal", and applies her new perspective. Len also supplemented her analysis by listening to the Fierce Fatty's Podcast's review of "The Whale".
