This 15 minute per episode podcast seeks to look at historical American documents such as the Federalist and Anti-Federalist Papers, texts such as Paine’s “The Rights of Man,” and other key pieces with detailed brevity piece by piece. The purpose is to understand what the founding fathers put in place, why they did so, and why it matters now more than ever. Most of this is no longer taught in the classroom despite being critical knowledge to sustain our Republic. We see now more than ever the damage that failure is doing. As Thomas Jefferson said, “An educated citizenry is a vital requisite for our survival as a free people.”
