Expect to hear themed shows, special guest callers and some seriously cool trivia about each track and artist that feature on the show. As festival tickets see a sharp rise in sales and live music starts to finally re-open it's doors it just seemed right for the boys at Tomahawk FM to do a show focussed around live music.

It's been a while so when asked if the guys wanted to record a 34th show the response was simple...Yeah f'ck it.
Each presenter picks a genre they have been listening to since the last show and plays three tracks from each one.

As lockdown mk3 comes into effect, Tomahawk FM go back to their original state.
The Tomahawk boys rally and all four presenters come onto the show for a real treat. Each presenter is given the task of performing their own special feature on the show..with our usual mixed results.
The show finds their favourite tracks dug deep from the origins of their favourite genres and provide some interesting trivia about each one.
A special guest comes onto the show - Traveling The Groove Records gives some cool insight into running a record store during these difficult times. They also discuss live music on vinyl.

Every now and then Tomahawk FM do a show where they get a bit carried away with excitement. And you've guest it, this is one of those shows.
The thought of having the legendary guitarist Tory Stoffregen calling in from Boston to talk about everything guitar and music sent the boys a bit crazy...in the form of drinking too much whisky (obviously)
As the show progresses, you will hear a weird and wonderful mix of drunken antics and interesting insight into the world of a rock 'n' roll star who has played in world renowned bands such as Enuf Z'Nuff.
The script goes out of the window and the presenters start getting confused as to what day it is..a hilarious episode with some seriously good tunes.
We also have a live (and slightly interrupted) version of the classic Rolling Stones tune 'Shine and Light' performed by Stevie Pearce from the Hooligans.

The link between film and music has always been strong and there have been many films where the soundtrack is actually better than the picture itself...Can you think of any?
Stevie get's stuck in a van for this one but The Dynamic Ambassador is back from his holiday and is on fire. He also now is a strict Whisky follower and is looking to start his own religion after being baptised in a distillery. Fact.
The dubious claims folder is staring to bulge after come clear evidence is submitted where he gets tracked by wolves.
A new whisky touches our lips and we discuss why you don't mess with London bouncers.

We have a World exclusive with producer Mr Goosey allowing us to play his 'Fade' track. Rich and Smith play a game of silent radio for 2 minutes (who...will...break...first) AND we have two guest callers (all be it one of them is calling form a cave). Two captains of a cricket game which is steeped in history...

Seriously - What can you buy now days for a fiver? Tomahawk FM have been digging like little moles in and around London's finest record stores to find bargain deals for great music.
Expect to hear some jazz, electronica, disco and a genre we didn't even know exists.
Smith provides an album review - A classic disco number from Idris Muhammad. A jazz drummer from New Orleans.
Hot topics include doing podcasts without clothes on and funny track titles. We also start playing 45" tracks..which means we are now officially 'one of those guys'.

We all have albums that we love. We all have albums that we turn up to 11 and leave them from start to finish, each track providing something new and exciting.
Tomahawk FM have the difficult task of picking only four each!! We also have 'the master' Marcello call in to provide some fantastic insight into his music collection.
Expect to hear some glam rock, rock and roll and hip hop to name a few. Smith does some currency conversion and Rich hits the big issues with a magnificent hot topic.

Episode 13 (Part 1) It's Tomahawk.
Tomahawk FM have always enjoyed dressing up for the occasion. In this instance its floral shirts, bright jackets and shiny shoes.
We are heading for the beaches in Miami and more importantly to the club scene. We listen to some of the best the 70's, 80's and 90's has to offer with some early hip hop, electro and funk...a bit of RnB thrown in there too.

Heavy. Metal. Two words that often split the masses. But do not fear as Tomahawk are hear to unite the masses.
In our 11th show (and our last Wednesday night episode) the boys get their band T-shirts on, wear some leather and go fast and loud.
A new whiskey this week is pure rock and roll - The No9 from Slipknot - pretty good timing right!? A lovely drop with a cube or two of ice plonked in.
A hot topic includes an intriguing question which will be debated through the ages and Rich reveals how excited he is to play his rather extensive collection of metal.

In light of this amazing achievement, Tomahawk goes worldwide. We broadcast from two great cities with our guest host James busting beats from Tokyo and Smith and Rich spinning tunes in London.
With our longest and most diverse episode yet, I am lost for words to describe the genres here. But seriously..it's pretty damn good.

I think we can agree that since lockdown measures came in to play we all miss the simple things in life. Walking in the park without dodging people, going to the shops without dressing up like a character from the Turtles or in Tomahawk's case - spending all night in bars where your feet stick to the floor.
Tomahawk goes indie for our Wednesday show.
We look at a genre which is close to our hearts and deliver songs from The Smiths, The Cure, Joy Division and New Order.
We have our HOT TOPIC of the week where Rich experiences a miracle and Smith discusses the benefits of wearing fancy slippers.
Two guest callers provide some nice input, Smith has some trouble with his new amp and Rich provides an interesting description about Newcastle.
A really cool ride through some classic indie anthems.

It just keeps getting better. The show I mean, because you wouldn't think so with some of these great artists' trials and tribulations. Ahh the blues.
Tomahawk goes at it with one of our favourite genres. The boys take you from the desert to the Delta and beyond with some amazing tracks from Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and Bob Dylan.
Rich explains why selling your soul to the Devil has it's perks and Smith get's confused with causes of death.
We also have a banging new jingle which goes wrong at the start of the show.
It's a random Sunday session but we loved it. Perfect for a sneaky listen while cooking, drinking, walking, buying booze and dodging people in the supermarket.

In an action packed episode we get an update on the HOT TOPIC this week where we find out that Rich gets betrayed by a mutated pigeon and Smith has adopted a new look resembling a French footballing icon.
A new Whisky is introduced to the show - A lovely Japanese single malt in a jam jar.
And the music..the music. We have...Ramones, Wire, Suicide, The Slits plus many more. All neatly paired up with our usual dose of interesting facts and trivia surrounding each artist and the two movements in general.

Now days, too many people think Jazz is inaccessible to them. So, much like Clark Kent - Tomahawk FM comes along to save the day and re-assure our listeners that Jazz, Blues and cheeseburgers are probably the greatest things to ever come out of the US of A.
In what has been described by many as 'the best set list they have ever heard' expect to hear tunes from old school American greats, the 60's London Mod scene and a Compton legend.
We have a guest caller who reviews his whisky. An unashamedly cheap and cheerful Old Pulteney single malt. Smooth.
Finally a new Wednesday feature includes the HOT Topic (hot hot hot) where Rich explains his recent trauma with garden tool theft and Smith details his painting skills.

When it comes to record collecting - opening new sleeves is like Christmas Day. The sound of the doorbell, the excited jump up off the sofa and skip to the door to find flat packages randomly left in a puddle on your doorstep (Thanks mate).
In our fifth instalment you've guest it...we are playing all our new stuff. And what great stuff it is. Expect to hear artist's like The Doors, Fela, RATM and The Streets.
We have a new whisky of the week. A fine drop from Wales. A Penderyn single malt with a rich Madeira finish. It's almost too good!
Adam joins us as a guest host and we have a surprise guest caller. Springate calls in and provides two interesting facts and poses a question to the Tomahawk boys...
Usual hot topics are discussed on the show. We find out that Rich is the president of Peckham and Smith can drink on one leg.
Our fifth and finest...
When a wise man was once questioned if Turkish electro was a real thing, he merely raised one eyebrow and said...'Mate, everywhere has a scene'.
With this in mind, the boys at Tomahawk take you into some great depths of world music. Here you will hear some Afro-beat, Brazilian classical / funk, Russian hip hop, 60's Jamaican jumped up RNB, desert blues and some Cuban genius.
This is combined with a guest caller who's sole purpose is to drink whisky and review it for Tomahawk (although he doesn't know this yet). Tonight it is a popular and ever so lovely Bushmill Blend called Blackbush. A smooth easy drinker to say the least.

Number three. What a number. What a show. In our longest production yet we review our whiskey of the week which is American Eagle. A 12 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey. As you can probably hear by our inability to speak at the end of the show - it's a great drop.
We also have our first guest caller who makes an outstanding track choice with some serious base which nearly breaks our amp. (Thanks Adam)
The boys at Tomahawk discuss important life matters such as Nokia 3210 being the second currency in London during the 90's, illegal raves in abandoned cinemas and the importance of saying things three times to make it real.
Oh - We also play tracks from artists such as Dre, Biggie, King Tubby and Kraftwerk in our most diverse show to date.
