You will be hearing from special guests and experts with thought-provoking content that we know you will enjoy in different languages. There will be stories about people, places and ideas, in all their diversity.

You are welcome to visit any of our 7 libraries at Carlingford, Constitution Hill, Dundas, Epping, Ermington, Parramatta, and Wentworth Point.
With your library card, you can:
- Borrow books, DVDs, and access digital books including audio books and magazines
- For a small fee, you can also photocopy, scan and print
Drop in and visit us or use our online library which is available 24 hours a day, or you can go to your Apple store or Google Play to download City of Parramatta Libraries app, which you can use to search, borrow and place reservations on items.
If you’re unable to visit the library due to poor health, disability, or are frail aged, join our Home Library Service and we’ll bring library materials for you to enjoy.
Parramatta will be adjusting its services as we get ready for an exciting move to our new space at PHIVE, 5 Parramatta Square.
From Monday 25 July, our Library will operate as a pop-up service, located on the ground floor of 1-3 Fitzwilliam Street. The pop-up will include the following services:
Library books available through ‘click and collect’ service.
A selection of our most popular books available to browse through.
Book returns will continue to be available 24/7 through our after-hours return chute.
Printing services and a small number of computers will continue to be available for public use.
From Monday 8 August, in addition to our pop-up Library service, our study spaces on Level 1 will reopen along with our popular Story Time sessions, computer access and Justice of Peace services. City of Parramatta Libraries also have an app that you can download to search our catalogue and access digital resources such as eBooks, audiobooks, digital magazines and more.

Harmony Day – Changes to multicultural societies in Australia and South Korea observed through books
Harmony Day is celebrated each year on the 21st of March to promote diversity, inclusiveness, respect and the idea that people of all different cultures can make a valuable contribution to society. In this episode, four books with the theme of multiculturalism are discussed to focus on the changes that are occurring in Australia and South Korea and acknowledge the importance of belonging as a society.
호주에서는 매년 3월 21일을 하모니 데이로 지정하여 호주 사회의 다문화를 포용하고 인정하며 다양한 프로그램을 통해 다문화, 다인종, 다종교를 지닌 이들이 사회에 공헌할 수 있다는 생각을 널리 퍼뜨리고자 한다. 이번 회에서는 다문화와 관련된 네 권의 책에 대해 토론해보고 호주와 한국이 좀더 표용적인 사회가 되기 위해 어떤 노력이 필요한 지 생각해본다.

Fraudulent operations come in various forms and types, and the aim is to obtain your money illegally. Fraudulent operations can be done by phone, internet, in person, or even in the mail. Fraudsters follow new and innovative ways to obtain your money illegally, some of them claim to represent government agencies, and some of them impersonate bank employees and communicate with you either via email or phone to obtain your personal information. Since most of the frauds are carried out by people residing abroad, it is difficult for the police to pursue and prosecute them, so we have to be careful and take protective measures ourselves. To report fraud, you can call 131444 or report at www.acorn.gov.au
