This podcast involves myself and my two co-hosts, Demond and Ryan. This podcast is not like any other sports podcast. We decided to put a little twist to it. I along with my co-hosts are bringing you some of the latest topics within the sports world, while also opening up about experiences, relationships, etc as a college student.This podcast is presented in collaboration with the Audio Production II class in the School of Media and Journalism at Arkansas State University.
In this last episode, the crew came together one last time to discuss the latest NBA playoff series and scores from the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. We also discussed Kyrie being fined for giving a Boston fan a rude gesture due to words that was being said to him. Also, we talked about the emergence of the young Memphis Grizzlies squad, and their tough battle with this TimberWolves team. In the life section, we talked about what our plans for the summer since the semester is coming to an end. The gang also congratulated me on joining my Greek Fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, inc. I appreciate all of the love and support that you all have shown us since the beginning! In this week's episode, James and the crew talked about some heated news in the college world. Grambling State's Head Coach just demolishes her entire roster...I'll leave that conversation for the show. In the NBA world, we talk about the Play-in games as well as highlighted some of the key playoff matchups and who would win. Hey, Keeping it 100 listeners! This week James is back with the rest of the crew talking about some historic sports content! As we wrap up college basketball, Kansas comes back and stuns UNC for Bill Self's second championship as Head Coach, and fourth in school history. Also, South Carolina handles business against a storied UCONN program who was 11-0 in the Finals, but they let it be known that they were champions once before as well...and they did it AGAIN! In the NBA, we gave our takes on two of the weekly games and gave breakdowns of the them. What's up, Keeping it 100 listeners! After taking a week off, the cast is excited to be back to bring some of the latest NCAA March Madness news on both sides! First, the crew discussed the Final Four matchups of the Men's tournament and later switched over to the Women's side of things! In the NBA section, hot takes were put on the table as we discussed what team we feel is dominant enough to take home an NBA Championship. Also, we predicted to games on the schedule. What's up Keeping it 100 Family! The gang is back for another week of exciting sports content, and keeping it real in the life aspect of things! In the sports section this week, the 100 crew break down and analyze Duke's loss in Coach K's last game, and how the Memphis Tigers are making a huge push heading into the NCAA Tournament despite how they started the season. The cast also had some exciting debates about the history of super teams in the NBA, as well as getting a little heated while discussing the Lakers loss to the Spurs. In the life section for this week's episode, we decided that we would talk about self care, and what we do on those particular days for ourselves.
