All Things Careers is not your typical Careers podcast; in this series we are delighted to share our guests' journeys as they tell the unique story of their career path. We'll talk about where they are today, the bumps and curves they encountered along the way and offer some insight and advice to students now looking to set out on their own career journey.

We chat with PJ Matthews, founding member and Director of The Creative Futures Academy at UCD, and Associate Professor of Irish Literature and Culture. He is a published author and has worked in television in a variety of roles, including Script Writer, Literary Advisor, Director, Executive Producer and worked with Red Shoe Productions on 'Voices of Ireland'.

Ciara Davey, the founder and director of CD Events Productions Ltd, has worked extensively in the Entertainment and Music Industry as Tour Manager and Consultant who worked with artists such as Prince, Avicii, and the Manic Street Preachers (amongst many others!).
She chats with us about how she started in the Industry, her top tips when setting up your own company and what it's like to go on Tour, as well as the importance of making connections and networking.
The five time All-Ireland winner, Jack McCaffrey, studied Medicine at UCD whilst playing Gaelic football for Dublin and UCD. He graduated in 2018 and began work in Paediatrics.
Jack chats to us about balancing commitments whilst studying Medicine and playing football, the importance of having an activity outside your studies and the transferable skills you can build, as well as the work he'll be doing with the charity GOAL.
Olympiad Claire Lambe is a UCD Mechanical Engineering graduate and former UCD Ad Astra Elite Athlete who reached the finals of the Women's Lightweight Double Scull at the 2016 Rio Olympics with her rowing partner Sinead Jennings.
Claire chats to us about her studies, taking part in the Olympics, becoming an Engineer and following her passion to be the Women in Sport Lead for Rowing Ireland and the benefit of recognising and taking opportunities when they arise.
