Amidst tragedy and chaos, Christians need to remember that our life is here on this earth. Jesus is our life; eternity with Him is not worth trading for the superficial comforts of this world. Are you relying on the Holy Spirit or soulish understanding? Discernment only comes from the Spirit of God speaking to us, not from our own knowledge or judgment. Jesus warned four times in Matthew 24 for us to beware of deception in these last days. People will use scriptures any way they can to 'validate' their personal beliefs by taking them out of context and completely neglecting hermeneutics. Hold fast to God's word, and do not let the falsehoods of misled Christians sway you away from His truth.

Have you unknowingly slipped into the religious spirit of a Pharisee? Jesus said the church of Laodicea needed eyesalve, which is painfully true for Christians today! Don't fall into ditches of false doctrine, pray for God to open your eyes for wisdom and revelation.

Are you going to stand in Jesus when everything goes wrong? Suffering persecution can come in many forms, but it is always important to cling to Jesus and persevere. Tests, trials, and temptations allow us to become mature in our faith and withstand anything Satan has to throw at us.
"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Psalm 30:5
God wants us to forsake everything as the disciples did and follow Him. The Lord primarily wants one thing from us: obedience! Some may claim this to be authoritarian, but we know that God keeps us most safe and blessed in His will. Hear His voice, wait on Him, and do not allow silly things to distract you.
"Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God." Psalm 92:13
What are the true definitions of mercy and grace as described in God's Holy Word? The Holy Spirit is named the Spirit of grace and convicts us of sin so we may turn to God's righteousness. Jude warned us that there would be people who sneak and turn God's grace into a license to sin; do not allow the temptations of this world to pull you away from the Lord!
"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world" Titus 2:11-12

Those who do not know God's Word really well will be deceived. False teachers know how to mix bits of truth in with their own doctrine and make themselves sound spiritual. The details matter! Love the truth, study God's Word, and do not allow false teachers to entertain your minds leading you astray.

God will always be a refuge for His people and take care of those who call on Him. Those who get help from the Lord are the righteous, but the wicked shall be judged when it seems they are prospering. Satan is trying to exalt himself presently, but God is the only One that will be exalted!
"I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10b
You can abuse the grace of God by not valuing the blood of Jesus and not taking sin seriously. If the blood of Jesus is important to you, then living a holy life will be important as well. Holy simply means set apart because it's special, so unholy means something common or like anything else. Be set apart, a true ecclesia, for the Lord until the day you meet Him face to face.
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." 1 John 1:7
Pastor Dean preaches about the gifts of the Spirit and how detrimental it is to quench the Holy Spirit (1 Thess 5:19). God chooses to use us, all of us (as 1 Cor 12 says 'every man'), to operate in His gifts to confirm His gospel with signs following. The time for being indifferent or in disbelief is over! Once born again, we need to continue to seek out spiritual maturity and allow God to correct us as we grow closer to Him. Do not allow fear to rule you or dictate how you live. Submit to Jesus as your master in all things, no matter the cost, and do not allow yourself to become complacent or stagnate in your walk with Him.
"And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do... Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him." Luke 12:4-5

Do not falter under the immense pressure of the world, hold fast until the end!

After we repent for our sins, God remembers them no more and sees us washed clean by the power of Jesus' blood. When we focus on the Lord, our past sins are erased and we can truly move on in His will. Stop living in your past and dwell in the Lord.
"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." James 4:8
Is your faith unshakable? Are you ready and willing to be an enduring soldier? All Christians need to be bold in God's truth and listen fervently for His voice. You will not hold fast walking in the natural mind! Chase after the Lord and be completely filled by His Spirit.
"So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army." Ezekiel 37:10
Being with God means obeying without hesitation. Disciples of Jesus Christ need to continually seek God and listen for His voice no matter the cost. Follow Him each day in humility and reverence, He will not forsake you!

The end of this age has been foretold throughout scripture with incredible detail. Pastor Dean Odle summarizes the Seals of Revelation and the Sixth Trumpet War in connection with the wars prophecied in Ezekiel 38 & 39. Do not fear those who threaten your life here on Earth! Do you truly have the joy of your salvation? God calls us to take up our cross daily and not look back when our hands are to the plow. Continue to push for revival so that we may experience the presence of God just as the church in Acts did. The devil runs in fear when God's people dedicate themselves to prayer and are led by the Holy Spirit!

Matthew 24 is addressed to believers as Jesus gives a detailed account of warning signs for the end of this age. Do not be deceived by those who falsely come in Jesus' name and do not let your heart grow cold towards your fellow Christian. Love as Christ loves, and be wary of Satan's schemes so that you may continue to endure during the great tribulation.

Forgiveness is readily available to those who truly repent and follow Jesus Christ. Pastor Dean preaches on the importance of repentance and forgiveness so that we may obey the Lord and completely turn from the darkness of this world. Ask yourself, "Am I doing what I am supposed to be doing with what God has given me?" God gives each of us the measure of faith we need and has blessed us with His saving grace. Does God truly know you, or are you drifting from your relationship with him? God wants to make Himself known to those who love Him and seek after Him. To have the manifest presence of God in our lives, we need to be desperate and obedient; those who are rebellious dwell in a dry land!

Many people, even some of you listening to this message, claim to be Christian but are not born again. It is not enough to believe in Jesus, but you must call Him the Lord over your entire life. You are either a slave to sin or a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, do not compromise.

Romans 8 teaches us that we need to actively walk in the Spirit and not the flesh to be children of God. As the darkness increases upon the earth, God's presence and glory will increase upon His people. All Christians must continue to stand up for truth in these days of mass deception. Continue to seek Him, pray, and ask for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit.
"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." Isaiah 60:1-2
Pastor Dean explains the context of Romans 13 and gives Biblical examples of righteous people choosing to obey God rather than men. Many pastors are falsely teaching their churches to blindly follow worldly authority without counting the cost. 1st Corinthians 3 teaches us that our bodies are temples and we are not to destroy them, so do not be deceived into taking a gene-altering vaccine meant to do exactly this.

Every Christian will stumble, but we need to continue to walk with Jesus and have faith that He loves us and wants to forgive us. Peter's story shows us how God is faithful to us despite our bad attitudes, doubts, and mistakes. Your struggle does not define your relationship with the Lord; stay committed to Him throughout everything.

Some Christians believe we only need to have faith in Jesus to be saved and works are not required, but they are mistakenly using a westernized definition of 'faith' without the true biblical context. The Bible describes repentance as fruits, NOT works. Pastor Dean goes through different examples in the Old and New Testaments of the doctrine of repentance and proof of salvation through works.

The doctrine of Jesus Christ and the 1st century apostles are vitally important to every Christian's faith.
