Hello everyone! This week's theme only brought out a song in my head, and it was this one. I think these lyrics represent how it feels when you give all your love to someone and it doesn't work out. "I never meant to start a war / I just wanted you to let me in / And instead of using force / I guess I should've let you win."
According to the meanings found on the web this lyrics demonstrate her vulnerability and her regret and doubt about how she did things in their relationship.
"She wanted to break down a lover's walls, so she stormed her way through in strong and dominant fashion, instead of handling it with kid gloves or taking a more submissive role. But it's better to regret something you have done than something you haven't done."
"Don't you ever say I just walked away / I will always want you."
"She's also indicating that there was a lack of communication between them over what went wrong. It's also unfinished business for her. Clearly, this romance wrecked both of 'em."
