Your host, Dave Norton, takes you through a survey of Bible prophecy and end times events from the KJV of the Christian Bible. The journey then begins into the book of Revelation to see how God plans to bring this dispensation to a close and how the Father has planned to seat His Son, Jesus Christ, upon His earthly throne for a 1000 years. Of special interest will be how events, unfolding now, are leading to the revelation of the antichrist. Before antichrist is revealed the New Testament church will be raptured and evacuated to Heaven. These prophecy episodes have relevancy to both Christians and non-Christians alike, as everyone wants to know what events, yet future, will transpire. Don't be left behind as the Rapture of the church is imminent.
In this episode we continue our study of the Book of Acts. Acts is historical, a transition book between the Old Testament and the New Testament, the dispensation of the Law and the dispensation of Grace, and the Gospels and the Epistles. Join us for this study.
In today's episode we get a sneak preview of life under the Antichrist. We take a look at the Trumpet and Vial judgments and it's not a pretty picture.
In this episode we continue with our introductory comments to the book of Acts. Specifically, we talk about when the church began and the concept of the "church universal". Join us for our take on these two important issues.
In this episode, from the book of Daniel, we find that Daniel's emergence from the Lion's den, unscathed, has had quite an impression upon King Darius. We'll briefly look at his reaction and then move onto chapter 7, where we look at the same four great Gentile kingdoms as the vision of Daniel 2, but this time we see them from God's perspective.
In this episode we begin a new series on the Book of Acts. Before we do, I'm going to preface this series with some introductory thoughts in the next few episodes.
I feel these comments are necessary because of the uniqueness of the book of Acts. Acts is a transition between the Old and New Testaments, the Mosaic Law and the Age of Grace and the Gospels and the Epistles.
We should also remember that there are a number of activities, valid during this transitory period, but no longer valid in our current Gospel dispensation. Join us as we learn about the beginning of the Apostolic church.
So, Babylon is fallen and now the Persians and Medes reign supreme. In today's episode we see the relationship between King Darius and Daniel and how some lions figured in the mix. Join us for this discussion how Daniel impacted King Darius through his interaction with some lions.
Hi folks. In this final episode we finish up our study of Roman Catholicism and the 10 ways Catholics look at their salvation.
Question! What would you do if you're the king of Babylon and you're under seige by a mighty army. In this episode we see what Belshazzar decided to do when under seige by the powerful medo-persian army and what happened as a result. We're Bible Prophecy 101: A Prophecy and Doctrinal Teaching Series. We're glad you've decided to join us today. Stay tuned for the Battle for Babylon.
In this episode we continue to study the Catholic equivalent of a "get out of jail free card" or otherwise called, the indulgence. We're Bible Prophecy 101: A Prophecy and Doctrinal Teaching Series. Join us to find out what the Roman Catholic Church says is necessary to cut short the time which must be spent in Purgatory.
Ever heard the phrase, "the hand writing on the wall," in reference to some, yet future and most probably, foreboding event. Well, in this episode, we get to go back to the probable origin of that adage and see how it accurately prophesied the future of the most powerful king on earth, in those days.
We're Bible Prophesy 101: A Prophecy and Doctrinal Teaching Series and we're so glad to have you join us today as we look at the fall of mighty Babylon.
Hi folks. In this episode we're back on the theme of Purgatory in our series on Roman Catholicism and 10 ways Catholics look at their salvation. Join us today as we see what the Catholic Church teaches its adherents about what they must do to enter Heaven.
Can you imagine a room in a building a mile in length. I can't. In this episode we're going to look a a feast, among other events, that had just such a room and structure that length to host a feast, the proportions of which are hardly imaginable. Stay tuned for chapter 5 in our ongoing series of the book of Daniel.
Don't know about you folks, but I think it's a little sad that Catholics must go through their entire lives never knowing for sure that they've done enough to earn salvation. About the only thing they do know, for sure, is that they must spend time in Purgatory to fine tune their spiritual lives before they can then be fit for heaven. Those prospects wouldn't bring much spiritual joy into my heart, that's for sure. Join us as we continue our study of Roman Catholicism.
In this episode we see Nebuchadnezzar, the most powerful king on earth, humiliated and lose his kingdom for 7 years. Then we get to see another mighty miracle from God.
Stay tuned to see how God taught King Nebuchadnezzar a valuable lesson about pride, humbleness and just exactly who was the one, true God
So folks, in this episode we get to find out all about how NOT to prepare for death. Our passing into eternity is certainly an event that we must all contemplate and prepare for, but few give much thought to it. Gotta confess, it saddens me to think how Catholic theologians prepare their parishioners for the eternal state. Join us for this study of how Catholics prepare for passing into eternity.
Folks, in this episode we get to see one of the greatest miracles in the Bible, matched only by one of the greatest acts of faith also. Join us in our current series on Daniel.
In today's episode we'll find out just how it is that someone can cooperate with a
gift. I always thought that you usually cooperated with some other person, but not in Roman Catholicism. For a Roman Catholic, free grace, isn't free!
Nebuchadnezzar, the most powerful king upon the face of the earth, genuflected before Daniel. Sounds too good to be true? You may be right. In today's episode we see what that act of worship really signified.
Foolish me folks, I always thought that God's Grace was undeserved or unmerited favor and that Eph. 2: 8-9 accurately expressed how grace and faith worked together. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." In today's episode we'll see how the Roman Catholic Church views grace and the part it plays in one's salvation.
Folks, I've always thought that the Antichrist would emerge from the descendants of the Roman General Titus, later Emperor Titus and from the extended Roman Empire. What if he were a Muslim. Is that even possible? Join us a we discuss who will be the fourth kingdom of biblical scripture.
In today's episode we continue with our series on Roman Catholicism. We specifically look at the ordinance of Baptism and see the Catholic version of this ordinance. It's different than what the scriptures say. Stay with us and see how Catholics view Baptism.
Today we hit a turning point in Daniel's life when he is summoned into the presence of Nebuchadnezzar. He must tell the King, not only the interpretation of his dream, but tell him what his dream was also. God's got it handled.
In this concluding episode of our short series on The Eternal State or Perpetual Generations we take a look at God's original plan in the Garden and see how it resumes in the Eternal State. Join us for a glimpse into the future, never ending.
Thanks for joining us today as we continue our study of the Roman Catholic Church and its false doctrine on the subject of salvation. Our study today will continue with the RCC's doctrine on children's salvation and what's required by the Roman Catholic Church.
Times and seasons. What does that phrase mean to you? In today's episode we find out just how complex this term really is. It's not just dates and seasons of the year. Stay tuned. We're Bible Prophecy 101: A Prophecy and Doctrinal Teaching Series.
Is it possible for flesh and blood bodies to live forever? Stay tuned because we're going to find out. We're Bible Prophecy 101: A Prophecy and Doctrinal Teaching Series. We're glad you've joined us today in our continuing series of The Eternal State or Perpetual Generations.
In this episode we continue to look at the piecemeal and installment plan of the Roman Catholic salvation process. We then begin our look at what the Roman Catholic church says in its catechisms about the salvation process. We finish by beginning our study of how the Catholic church handles infant baptism.
What does the book of Daniel and a road map have in common and what did Daniel see in the future, that no other prophet saw? We'll get into that and much more in today's episode. Thanks for joining us today as we continue with our series on Daniel and his amazing prophecies.
So, you folks who've been listening to our series for awhile probably knew it was only a matter of time before I would veer off course once again and start another mini series on some fascinating subject or another. Guilty, as charged. I ran across this fascinating study on the internet, a short while ago, as I was researching my favorite subjects, end times events and the book of Revelation. As the title of our mini-series indicates, it's about the eternal state and who will be the occupants in that final dispensation. Join us to look into the eternal state in ways perhaps you've not done so before.
I guess we've all purchased items on the installment plan. Our homes, our vehicles, and probably other big ticket items. Think about this! How would you like to purchase your salvation on the installment plan? Join us today and see just how installment plan is used in Roman Catholicism.
In this episode we'll continue with the many inventions and achievements of the Babylonian system of Daniel's time. Then we'll see what that smart decision was, that Daniel made, which changed everything for him and his three companions.
Question for those in our audience who are Christians. How would you like to live your entire Christian life never knowing whether you were saved or going to heaven? If your're anything like me, that would be a non-starter and completely unacceptable.
Hi folks, and welcome to Bible Prophecy 101: A Prophecy and Doctrinal and Teaching Series. Stay tuned to find out just what does the Catholic church require of its membership to be saved. You heard me right. I said church require, not the Scripture.
Hi folks and welcome to Bible Prophecy 101: A Prophecy and Doctrinal Teaching Series. I'm Dave and we're glad you've joined us for our new series on the book of Daniel. In this second episode we'll continue with some general, introductory comments on Daniel and then get into chapter 1. Join us for a look at some amazing prophecies of end times events.
My name's Dave and thanks for tuning in. We're beginning a new series today that I've been wanting to do for quite some time now. I wanted to wrap up the previous series of In Defense of Sound Doctrine before I launched into this one though.
The source material on this subject is voluminous, but I've relied primarily upon the works of Pastors Kelly Sensenig and David Cloud among others. Precious lost souls are caught in the web of this false church and without God's intervention, they're final destination will be a lake of fire. May God bless our efforts to reach some and prevent that from happening.
In today's episode were going to begin a new study of the book of Daniel. We'll begin with some introductory comments of a general nature, and if time permits, proceed to Chapter 1. The book of Daniel is fairly short, only 12 chapters, but the information and prophecy contained in those brief chapters is absolutely astounding. Join us as we study one of the most significant prophetic books in the Bible.
Hi Folks and welcome to our final episode on our current series. When next we meet we will be starting a series on Roman Catholicism on Tuesdays and on the book of Daniel on Fridays. We hope you will join us as we look at the false doctrine of the Roman Catholic church as well as the unbelievably accurate prophesies of Daniel, without which, we would not know the exact dates of many of the "end times" events, yet future.
So, we'll wrap up our study of New Evangelicalism by discussing its characteristics of a mood of softness and a desire for less strict Christianity. Join us as we finish our current series on In Defense of Sound Doctrine and begin two new series: Roman Catholicism and the book of Daniel. Hope to have you tune in beginning soon.
Have you ever had a salesperson, or anyone for that matter, try and convince you that newer is better. That may or may not be true, the jury's out, but with regard to God's Word, the verdict is in. Newer is definitely not better.
We're Bible Prophecy 101: A Prophecy and Doctrinal Teaching Series. Thanks for tuning in today. In today's episode we look at the Ancient Versions of God's preserved Word and see that much can be said for these preserved manuscripts, as opposed to some of the modern Bible versions that inundate Christian book stores today.
Did you folks know that not all biblical truth is worth clinging to. Some biblical truth is important, but other truth not so much. Well, at least our New Evangelical purveyors are of this mind set. Some biblical truth, they say, is just not worth controversy and doing battle over. It's all about essentials, non-essentials and compromise, for unity's sake. Join us today as we continue our series of New Evangelicalism and their movement toward ecumenism.
In today's episode we continue to see how dangerous it was to even possess a Bible in the Vulgar language, not approved by the Roman Catholic church.
Debunk! To expose or excoriate, a claim, assertion, sentiment, etc., as being pretentious, false, or exaggerated. In today's episode we get the chance to do a little debunking of some claims that New Evangelicals have made about us Old fashioned Fundamentalists. Join us, should be interesting!
The Holocaust. What thoughts come to your mind when you hear that word? We don't need to discuss details, but most people would think of a great, horrible and systematic extermination of the Jewish people, by the Germans, during WW2. Are you aware that Catholic historians themselves estimate that the Catholic church slaughter of non-Catholics, during the Dark Ages, dwarfed the approximately 6 million Jews killed during the holocaust of WW2. Join us today as we explore the slaughter of non-Catholics during the Dark Ages.
Question! What do you think is the most likely cause of apostasy within Christ's church today? Would it be worldly materialism, intellectual pride, ecumenism, or perhaps a combination of the three? We'll answer that question in today's episode.
A bit of waxing nostalgic. Remember that movie in the 60's entitled Fahrenheit 451 with Julie Christie and Oskar Werner. It's all about a fireman and burning books. All kinds of books. In preparing today's episode, I got to thinking of the parallels between that well known movie and the venerable Roman Catholic Church. Although the characters in Fahrenheit 451 are probably more likeable than those individuals of which we speak in today's episode.
Hi folks and thanks for joining us today. ln this episode we'll see what the Bible says about pragmatism and true biblical spirituality. Are these two even compatible?
So, today we move into the Dark Ages. Now, some might think we've been in the Dark Ages for the last couple of years, but politics aside, these Dark Ages occurred between the 11th and 16th centuries. These were bad times for those dedicated to the preservation of God's Holy Word. Lots of wicked people doing nasty things.
Got a question for my listeners. Where do you think that love and unity should rank within the dogma of Christianity? Should love and unity prevail, as a precept, over sound doctrine.? We explore these questions today and then go to John 17 to see how the ecumenists use this chapter to justify their doctrinal position on love and unity.
In today's episode we'll continue our study of the heretics who, down through the ages, have tried to corrupt God's breathed Word to His saints by attacking the Received Text or Textus Receptus underlying text of the New Testament in the English language.
I'll bet you didn't know that Jesus Christ went to the cross to purge His enormous self-esteem. What, you didn't know that? Well, stay tuned and we'll take a look at just one of our rogues gallery of heretics who says just that on page 75 of his book Self Esteem: The New Reformation.
In this episode we continue with our discussion of heretics and how they attempted to dilute and modify our underlying language to our KJV Bible with heretical additions and deletions to corrupt God's preserved KJV text.
In this episode we'll continue to reveal those folks of the New Evangelical persuasion, who lash out when confronted with the truth of Scripture. Before we continue with our exposure of New Evangelicals and their extreme distaste for contending for the faith once delivered to the Saints.
What happens when government and religion join at the hips. We'll in today's episode we're going to take a look at the sad results we find when government and religious heretics work closely together and nothing but chaos results.
In our episode today we'll learn about some folks who think its alright to dialogue with false teachers and those who espouse such false doctrine. We'll see what happens when
one dialogues with heretical groups and their espousers.
In this episode we run into another heretic who thinks that our Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ, was a created being and not the eternal Son of God. How very sad! Meet Origen, considered to be one of the most influential of the Church fathers.
Stay tuned, because in this episode, we'll discuss how the ecumenical movement has attempted to bring all its supporters into its web of deception and false doctrine.
In this episode we continue our study of biblical heretics and those who espouse them. We begin with the Gospel of Thomas and then move onto Philo and Origen. Join us as we see how far man can go in the perversion of Holy Scripture.
In today's episode we'll give some examples of church leaders quoting heretics, and doing so with full knowledge of the heretical positions held, by the persons quoted. Of course no warning is given to the readers or listeners by those men who quote these heretics.
In today's episode we take a look at false movements designed to deny the eternal Sonship of Jesus Christ and thereby denigrate His deity and divine authority.
In this episode we begin our new study of New Evangelism, under the continuing general theme of In Defense of Sound Doctrine. Neither cold nor hot, we get a glimpse of the last days church prior to our Lord's return for His church at the Rapture. Join for our look at New Evangelism.
Question. What's the main theme of the Bible? Simple question, perhaps. I think most of us would agree, that the main theme of the Bible is Jesus Christ, in all of the manifestations of His being. If you were a heretic, who then would you want to attack? Yep, our Lord Jesus Christ. In today's episode we see exactly that, various attacks upon the person, deity and Word left by our Lord Jesus Christ.
Just exactly how did the term New Evangelical come into existence. While there's some disagreement on just who came up with this iconic reference, we'll start off today with an excerpt from a speech of the man who takes credit for the birth of this term. Join us as we wrap up our series on modernism vs. fundamentalism. Next episode we will examine New Evangelicalism.
Thanks for being a part of our series today as we continue to study the underlying language to the KJV and its preservation. In this episode we'll continue to show how God's people actively sought to preserve the original autographs and accurate copies thereof from those who would quite eagerly corrupt them.
Militant. Wow, that's sort of a scary word. But militancy is exactly what our predecessors, in the battle of fundamentalists vs. modernism, displayed. Would be nice if some of that militancy were alive and well today, but unfortunately it seems as if that militancy has perished with J. Frank Norris's generation of militant fundamentalists. Join us as we continue our series on the fundamentalist and modernists controversy.
In this episode we see just how quickly the books of our KJV Bible were accepted by most "so called" church fathers living contemporaneously with the apostle John at the end of the first century A.D. Inspiration, without preservation is of none effect where Scripture translations are in question.
Today we'll see how the battle between old fashioned evangelicals and modernists produced a couple of different groups, the Fundamentalists and the New Evangelicals.Join us as we look at the beginning of the Fundamentalist movement in the USA.
Why do men have such reluctance to be guided by the Spirit of Truth? It's a fair question. In this episode we're going to look at how the most recognizable names in church history received the Greek New Testament underlying language to our King James Bible. Join us to see how our KJV Bible has fared throughout history.
In this episode we'll show how Form Criticism has infected many New Evangelicals and moved them away from interpreting the Bible by means of proper biblical interpretative techniques and faith and instead moved them toward a more pragmatic interpretative style. Pragmatism and unbelief. Deadly combination!
Has anyone in my listening audience, ever looked back upon your initial salvation experience and then doubted that that experience was real or sincere?
In this episode, we're going to look at some scripture which should ease your minds about that issue, as well as discuss some pillars, upon which, rest our assurance of salvation.
With this episode we conclude our mini-series on Salvation Assurance. Stay tuned to find out what our next series will be about.
Hi folks and thanks for joining us today. In this episode we're going to begin our study of the 4 specific periods of church history to get an understanding of the Greek New Testament and its survival status during each of these periods. These periods are the Apostolic Period during which the Scriptures were completed. The Post Apostolic Period during which these scriptures were corrupted. The Dark Ages during which these scriptures were under persecution and the Reformation Period during which these scriptures were printed. Hope you will tune-in.
In this episode of Modernists we continue our look at the technique of Form Criticism and analyze how its dictates impact the credibility and authenticity of our King James Bible
Hi folks, and thanks for joining us today. We continue with our mini-series on Salvation Assurance in this episode by first looking at Making Your Calling and Election Sure and then a look at the promise of Jesus, which is Everlasting Life andfinally, taking a look at what the Bible says about "believe" as it pertains to Salvation.
Folks, thanks for joining us today. So, the battle rages on. The KJV and all the modern Bible Version New Testaments extant today are the result of the differences existing in the underlying Greek text employed in their creation.
So the battle is really between these underlying languages, which have produced the KJB, in the English language, and other Reformation Bibles, in other languages, vs. the Modern Versions which are the sum total of a different underlying language translation.
Join us for a look into this battle between Modern Bibles and our KJV
Bible.
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by today. In today's episode we see why Noah's flood was world-wide and not regional , why modernists say there were at least two, maybe three Isaiah's, who shared authorship of the book of Isaiah and finally what is Form Criticism and what does it have to say about the inspiration of the Four Gospels. All this and more in today's episode.
When you hear a salvation message you most likely will hear emphasized Christ's death on the cross, His shed blood, as payment in full for your sins. That, of course, is part of the salvation message. But sometimes under stated, is His resurrection from the tomb and ultimate ascension to heaven. Both of these facts must be part of any complete salvation message. In this episode we discuss the necessary components of a complete salvation message.
Thanks for joining us today as we continue our look at the issue of Preservation as applied to the KJV and Modern Bible Translations. We also will examine what impact the doctrine of preservation has had on the traditional Greek or Received New Testament underlying the King James and other Reformation Bibles. Join us as we continue the battle between God's preserved Word and man's interpretation of God's Word.
Thanks for joining us as we continue our study of Modernists under the theme of In Defense of Sound Doctrine. In this episode we'll start out with Moses and the Pentateuch controversy and then take a look at the book of Genesis and Adam & Eve as historical figures. If we have the time we'll then talk about Noah and the Flood event and Isaiah and the controversy over claims as to what he supposedly wrote and didn't write.
In this episode we begin a mini-series on Salvation Assurance. Too many Christians today are, at different times in their lives, feel unsure of their salvation. In this episode we try and present God's Word on salvation and reassure Christians they don't need to trust in their "feelings" or some type of "works" doctrine to be assured of God's acceptance. It's not what we have done for Jesus Christ, but what He has already done for us on the cross. Join us and be assured.
Hi folks and thanks for joining us as we continue to compare the KJV Bible to modern Bible translations. Today we're focusing on the purity of God's Word and how it has been supernaturally preserved over the centuries.
In this episode we continue with our theme of Sound Doctrine and specifically focus upon The Presbyterian Church USA. Maybe not as exciting as some of our previous cult studies, but just as much deceived and in error, in their doctrinal positions, as any of the others. We then begin to refute this cult by looking at sound doctrine, as contained in the King James Bible.
In this episode we continue our study of the KJV Bible vs. Modern Bible Translations.
We specifically look at preservation as a major, perhaps the chief factor, why we have decided to stick with our old King James Bible. We're just getting started so please join us as we examine the controversy over Bible translations and why it should be important to us.
In today's episode we get a further glimpse into the human heart and how desperately wicked it is if left to its own devices and machinations. Shortly we'll get to see what one Episcopal Priest thinks Jesus would do, if alive today. We also will cover the United Methodist Church or UMC and see how far they have deviated from sound biblical doctrine.
In this episode we begin to look at some definitions of terms commonly used in the study of Bible translations and critical textual theory. We then begin to list our four basic reasons why we cannot accept modern Bible translations as opposed to the KJV.
In this episode we continue with our study of Modernism. We look specifically at some 20th century modernists and then at 6 mainline Protestant denominations.
Last episode we took a brief look at the history of Modernism. Let's continue our study with a look at some of those proponents advocating heretical philosophies and doctrines contrary to that of the Bible. First, we'll look at a few 19th century heretics and then a few from the 20th century. Join us as we wrap up our series on In Defense of Sound Doctrine with a look at Modernism and then New Evangelicalism.
In this episode we continue with our new series on the KJV vs. Modern Bible Versions. We'll look specifically at what my suppositions are going into this fray. We'll also then give a brief overview the content of the rest of this series on the KJV.
In this episode we learn what the SDA church means when they say they believe in saved by
grace through faith. Not quite the same as Christians believe. Then we cover 7 reasons
why the KJV Bible disagrees with their false doctrine. We conclude our study of the SDA
Church and begin our examination of Modernism and New Evangelicalism.
Thanks for joining us as we continue our study of Seventh-day Adventism. In this episode we'll look at Heresy #6 which is Investigative Judgment and if time permits, Number 7 which is Misuse of the Mosaic Law.After our current study, we'll begin our look at Modernism, Fundamentalism and the New Evangelicalism movements.
Hi folks, today, I'm beginning a new series on the King James Bible and the legion of Modern Translations that have infected the Philidelphian church in these last days. This series will run concurrently with In Defense of Sound Doctrine and probably consist of a weekly podcast, along with my regular twice weekly podcasts. I will try and upload episodes on Tuesdays but we'll have to see how that plays out. I will attempt to make it a weekly presentation, so check in with us often for new episodes
In this episode we continue with our study of Seventh-day Adventism. We specifically look at why we are unable to accept the prophecies of Ellen White, SDA's founder and prophetess. Join us as we see what the Bible has to say about the prophecies of Ellen G. White.
We continue in this episode looking at the false doctrine of the Seventh-day Adventist cult. It began with Ellen G. White and continued with her
prophesies, which we'll take a look at in this episode.
Annihilation! When you hear that word, what does it bring to mind? Stay tuned because today we're going to learn about what the Seventh-day Adventists think about the final destiny of the lost.
In this episode we continue with our study of Seventh-day Adventism and its false doctrine. We specifically finish up with Soul Sleep and we will now see what the Bible says about the soul.
in this episode we'll find out a little bit about soul sleep and from what I've read, it doesn't really sound like something I'd care much about participating in. Stay tuned and we'll get to all that after we finish up with our brief look Seventh-day Adventists sabbath-keeping.
Hi folks, thanks for stopping by. In this episode we finish up with our study of Seventh-day Adventist concept of salvation and then move on to Adventist Heresy #2 which is Sabbath-keeping. Join us for a look at this cult and its abberant views of Bible doctrine.

In this episode we continue our study of Jehovah's Witnesses and see what they believe about the Bible, Hell and Death. Join us to find out how deviant they are in their aberrant doctrine.
In this episode we continue our study of Jehovah's Witnesses and their beliefs about Jesus
Christ and Salvation. Like most all of the other cults, JW's do not believe that Salvation is by
faith alone, but by faith Plus works. Oh, and they also believe that Jesus Christ is not Jehovah
God, but just another created being. Not good!!!
In this episode we begin our study of Jehovah's Witnesses, as part of our theme of In Defense of Sound Doctrine. We cover some history of this cult and then a discussion of some of their aberrant doctrines.
In this episode we conclude our study of Mormonism by looking at some miscellaneous Mormon doctrines and the practice of Polygamy, which still is practiced today by some Mormons. Next cult we'll study will be Jehovah's Witnesses.

In this episode we take a look at the purpose of the local church. We specifically try and determine why Christ created His church and to what major purpose. Ask yourself, what is the reason you go to church, beyond the commandment of Christ not to forsake the assembling of the saints. We try and answer these questions and others as we look at Christ's institution of the Church.
In this episode we continue with our series on the Mormon church, specifically its history. We examine some of the characteristics of its founder, Joseph Smith also.

There is a stark difference in the letters to the churches at Laodicea and the previous church studied, the church at Philadelphia. Join us to see these two churches which were opposite in their service to our Lord.
In this episode we finish with our study of the church at Philadelphia and we begin our look at the church at Laodicea. The last two most interesting churches are left for last. The church at Philadelphia represents the best model for churches in this dispensation. The church at Laodicea is what most churches are today, luke warm and not worthy of any commendation from Jesus Christ. Follow us to see how these two churches differ.
We continue with our study of the Book of Revelation with what Christ has to say to
the church at Philadelphia. This church is one of only two churches of the seven, which
Christ addressed, that received only commendation and no rebuke or warning. Listen
in with us and see what Christ commends this church for.
In this episode we finish with the letter to the church at Sardis and begin our study of what Christ has to say to the church at Philadelphia. The church at Philadelphia is the model church, which Christ has nothing bad to say about it. In this episode we continue with chapter 2 of the Book of Revelation. Christ addresses the church at Thyatira. We take a close look at the Jezebel image.
This was a real woman, but the name Jezebel is probably the designation that Christ gave her. It's likely that He is naming her according to her character and influence. He likens her to the wicked Jezebel of King Ahab fame, who stirred up her husband and others to commit idolatry found in 1st Kings 16: and verses 31 through 33. Come join us and find out just how wicked this woman was.
We complete the letter to the church at Pergamos and move on to the church at Thyatira. This is a very interesting church and receives commendations as well as rebukes from Jesus Christ. Listen in to find out what Jesus has to say to the church at Thyatira.

In this episode we look at the letter that Christ wrote to the church at Smyrna. He has much to say which is laudatory but cautions them to stay the course. This church was poor in material things but rich in spiritual things. It was a church under persecution and, as such, we have much to learn from this church today as Christianity is also under persecution. We haven't reached the degree that Smyrna was enduring this tribulation but we could be there shortly. Pray God, in His mercy, takes us Home before that day arrives.
In this episode we conclude our look at Christ's letter to the church at Ephesus. Next episode we'll take a look at the church at Smyrna and find out what Christ had to say to this church. Spoiler: It was one of only two churches that Christ had no negative comments for.
In our last episode we finished our look at the 7 churches in Asia from a prophetic perspective throughout church history. The order in which Christ addressed these churches parallels a general historical view of church history, as recorded by church theologians. The churches Christ addressed have gone through various stages of fidelity and obedience to Christ's Great Commission over the last couple of thousand years. A general pattern can be discerned, but shouldn't be our main focus when reviewing the content of chapters 2 and 3 of the book of Revelation. In this episode we begin our study of the seven churches of Asia with the church at Ephesus.
In our seventh episode on the book of Revelation we finish looking at the seven churches from a prophetic perspective. Christ addresses each church individually and brings to light the unique conditions then existing in these churches.
