We have the wonderful Ruth Bradley on todays show. Ruth is a UK trained occupational therapist based out in Brisbane, Australia. Ruth is the professional lead for mental health within the trust she works in.  She has developed an occupational therapy adult mental health assessment being delivered across the trust as well successfully providing specialist supervision to a large number of employees.  Listen to Ruth tell us about her experience of working in Australia and the opportunities which are out there.

Rachael has used her own experiences and occupational therapy skills and knowledge to jointly set up a school (with Lucy, her colleague) and a re-engagement programme for those struggling to access mainstream education.  Very inspiring work! l would also say, the future to enable all children and young people to gain the skills and relevant education required for them to engage with meaningful occupations for the rest of their lives. 

The more l listen and think about this the more passionately l feel about the changes which need to be made to the educational system, and its accessibility for all. What are your thoughts??
