Let's Talk Nova is a podcast hosted by Ailish, The Nova Coach. Ailish interviews expats from around the world talking about their expat journey; from the reason for moving away, to the moment of excitement boarding the plane, the self doubt, the ways they adapted to a new culture, to the moment they felt content with the life they built abroad. Expats share how they have used their time abroad for the better and the lessons learned along the way. Ailish is a Certified Expat Life Coach and will share coaching tips for expats to incorporate into their lives to enhance their expat experience.

In today's episode, I interview the wonderful Tara Kidd, CEO & Founder of Tara Rose Hair Salons here in the UAE. In today's second installment of Jonathan's story, we hear Jonathan sharing his about his experience of teaching and coaching in Vietnam, how he used this experience to open up to other men in a men's circle and in turn, brought much healing into his own life.
Jonathan shares how he experienced lockdown in Vietnam and how he escaped (quite a funny story) to catch a flight back to Ireland in the height of restrictions.
Jonathan also shares his profound experience with Ayahuasca in Peru. He describes the ceremony and learnings from it.
Jonathan is now using his own healing journey to help other men, where he has now set up his own men's circle in Limerick, Ireland. Well now, this is by far the most requested podcast episode to date, and it has only taken me a over a year to speak about it!
A topic that is so commonly discussed among expats, but rarely addressed on social media.
The time is now to collectively open the conversation around expat dating, men's mental health, female empowerment and living life with more compassion for one another.

In today's episode, I had the pleasure to interview both Pat English (Achill, Co. Mayo) and Pat Kelly (Craughwell, Co. Galway) about their time moving to Abu Dhabi in 1992 & 1993.
I was lucky to be coached by both Pat English and Pat Kelly when I played for the ladies football team, Abu Dhabi Na Fianna. They both played a huge role in creating such a welcoming community for the Irish in Abu Dhabi, especially for our ladies teams.
Both of them share how they decided to move out to Abu Dhabi in the 90s, what life was like here, how the GAA community started and some wise words about moving home to Ireland.
