Every morning when we wake up, for a brief moment our mind is empty, a blank slate.
Have you noticed?
Then quickly, we start recollecting yesterday’s matters and fill ourselves with the mood they evoke. The way of thinking and being that they bring. Isn't it so?
This quiet moment of the morning is a golden opportunity.
A chance to fill our minds with anything we desire. To create a new mental pattern.
Imagine choosing your state of mind for the day ahead:
Would you choose to be cheerful, peaceful, grateful, and happy?
Or perhaps you'd prefer to feel confident and deeply purposeful?
What state of mind would you love to have all the time?
Whatever state of mind you'd love to cultivate, the morning’s inner stillness is your time to create it.
What would help you feel great about yourself and your life?
Create that feeling as soon as you wake up when your mind is still empty. Plant that feeling in your heart first thing in the morning.
Nurture and deepen that state of mind for as long as you can.
Use these morning moments powerfully, to create new habits of thinking and being, that you’d truly love.

How you approach conflict can significantly impact your ability to manage the difficult situation.
You can approach a Conflict from these 6 levels of consciousness:
1) EMOTIONALLY triggered,
2) In the DRAMA - blaming, judging and finding fault,
3) Addressing the Situation LOGICALLY, perhaps like a management consultant.
This is not all. You can tap into greater wisdom.
But to move beyond the above levels of thinking, you might need to take a moment to slow down and tap into the deeper wisdom of your heart:-
4) Exercising the Choice of WHO You Are Going to BE in the situation,
5) Focused on the Greatest OPPORTUNITY in the Situation for All, and
6) APPRECIATING and Cooperating with the Spontaneously Emerging Future Possibilities.
When was the last time you navigated a difficult situation from such higher levels of consciousness?
I would love to hear from you.

This mediation is intended to support you in reinforcing your energy centres - your chakras.
1) Mooladhara- Focusing on the first chakra will improve your self-assuredness, gravitas, sense of certainty and clarity. This chakra is burdened by self-doubt, confusion, and directionlessness which results in anxiety.
2) Swadishthana - The Second chakra is about fully allowing, feeling and honouring your emotions and body's subtle sensations. Unless you allow yourself to feel your emotions and feelings, they will burden you and block you from participating fully and lightheartedly in life. Unhealed shame is a sign of blockage of this chakra.
3) Manipura - The Third chakra is about experiencing complete freedom and autonomy in life, enhancing your willpower and creating purposeful action, resulting in a deep sense of self-confidence. When guilt blocks this chakra one feels stuck, unable to take action freely.
4) Anahata - The fourth chakra is about love. Letting yourself love fully, deeply and with complete vulnerability. When unhealed heartbreaks and past suffering block this chakra, one is hesitant to love with all of one's heart and the resulting half-hearted relationships are not fulfilling.
5) Vishuddhi - The fifth chakra is about confronting and fully appreciating all aspects of your life and reality. Acknowledging the truth as it is. It brings you to a state of spacious contentment and silent stillness established in firm awareness of the oneness of reality. When this is blocked, there may be inner conflicts, denial and refusal to confront reality in some aspects.
6) Agnya - The sixth chakra is about letting intuitive wisdom beyond words and logic illuminate your path. It is about yielding to this wisdom, permitting silent wisdom to light up and energise your being.
7) Sahastrara - The final seventh chakra is about experiencing and establishing yourself in your true reality - being who you truly are - the Divine Self "I AM I".

Practice Non-resistance.
It is not about getting out of action.
Acceptance of reality releases resistance and frees up energy for action.
"What's So" by Werner Erhard
"What’s so is always just what’s so. What’s so doesn’t care what you think, feel, intend or wish; it will not bend. You can be freaked out or driven over what’s so, and it won’t change what’s so. If you’re late for an appointment, getting freaked out about it won’t have you arrive any earlier. If you’re having a bad day, being freaked out won’t change what’s so.
That which you seek will not bring you satisfaction – aligning with what’s so will.
When you’re upset, you’re never upset over what’s so. What’s so is just what’s so, and you’re upset.
If your house burns down and you get upset, does it bring your house back? What’s so doesn’t care if you’re upset; it’s up to you how you handle what’s so. There is no confusion in what’s so. When you don’t know you just don’t know – there is no confusion there.
There’s nothing right or wrong about what’s so. What’s so is always open to different interpretations. There’s always just what’s so, and then you have an interpretation.
What scares you isn’t what’s so, it’s your interpretation. The interpretation is never true; what’s so is real, the interpretation is not.
Who you’re being is just who you’re being, and what’s so doesn’t care if you’re happy with it or not, so why should you? When you’re not being with what’s so, that’s also just what’s so. Why should you concern yourself?
Other people should always be the way they’re being; if you think they shouldn’t, that’s your interpretation. Bring yourself back to what’s so about them. Until you can be with what’s so, you can’t be with anything or anyone. You may have control over other people’s what’s so, but none over their interpretation – give it up.
If you take action or not, it’s still just what’s so. If it works out well or not, it’s still just what’s so. You can never make a right or wrong decision or take a right or wrong action.
Whatever you do will always bring you more of what’s so, and then you have an interpretation about it. Whatever you don’t have, so what? Whatever you’ve done or thought in the past, again so what? Whatever happens in the future is not to be feared. It’s just going to be more of what’s so.
The challenge is to spend as much time in what’s so as you can. The chatter in your head is more interpretation, and it has nothing to do with what’s so. There’s nothing wrong with the chatter, it’s just you listening to a fantasy.
The thought that there is something wrong is an illusion; there is nothing wrong, there is only what’s so.
Notice when you’re comparing what’s so to some fantasy of how it should be. Bring yourself back to what’s so and it will be O.K.
Ask yourself what’s so and align with that. Align with what’s so and it will not matter. That is the foundation of transformation and satisfaction.
Not aligning with what’s so is the only thing that will ever bring you hardship or suffering. Life in what’s so will bring you harmony, grace, and balance.
The other side of what is so is so what." - Werner Erhard

If you are feeling stuck, try out these ideas to free the energy that is stuck -
1) Ground yourself
2) Pause, and permit yourself to feel-
- Feel the subtle sensations in your body
- Feel any feelings and emotions that are present, fully.
3) Check where you feel stuff in your body, move and free the energy that is stuck in those areas.
4) Get in touch with love - for yourself, for others and for your work.
5) Let your powerful resolve, will and determination explode here and now as action. Do not postpone action. Also keep the focus and intention upon high-quality action, instead of focusing upon results.
Try this out.

How to Practice Self-compassion
When times are tough and we are being challenged, we naturally expect the most from ourselves. We want to be most resourceful intellectually, decisive, and take action. These are the times we expect the most from ourselves.
This is also the time when self-criticism, judgment, guilt, or shame kick in. The situation and internal turmoil can overwhelm us. At such times, we often withhold love and compassion from ourselves, squeezing ourselves into a corner, either in fight or flight mode, and we lose access to the best of our intellect and wisdom.
Practising self-compassion when we are challenged, overwhelmed, or upset can help bring spaciousness back. It can create enough calmness in your mind and heart to deal with the difficult situation better. If you can take a few moments to let in some self-love, there will be more energy and wisdom to make decisions and take action.
Christopher Germer of Harvard Medical School, suggests 3 simple practicing-

This is the recording of a Satsang with Leon VanderPol, recorded on June 29th, 2023.
Leon is a master trainer, coach, founder of the Center for Transformational Coaching, and the author of the brilliant handbook for Deep Transformative Coaching - A Shift in Being. Leon is also a spiritual teacher and guide who has helped turn my coaching into a Sadhana, a happy, spiritual practice - taken up in service and gratitude for the Source and Existence. When you are in his presence and listening to him, his being gently invites you to a higher, calmer, happier place within.
This was an informal discussion, yet anything but casual. It was a Satsang. I joyfully basked in Leon's sharing about his inner work, relationship with the Spirit and Spirituality. His sharing simplifies how light and joyful deeply spiritual work can be while making a lasting difference to so many.

You can only change yourself with love.
If you want to change or let go of an old way of being, the only way to do it is with love. If you have a habit that troubles you or you find yourself struggling to adopt a new positive practice, then the only way to release this old way is through compassion and kindness towards yourself.
Try this-
1. Write, Describe the old way of being & Confront its impact on your life
2. Let go of the old version of yourself with love
3. Be empty here and now
4. Describe the New You - who you'd rather be
5. Bring yourself to believe that is possible
6. Embody the New You
7. Approach life with this new way of being
By practising this work every day, you may find that you are able to release old habitual ways of being with ease and grace.

Today, I found myself in a lazy mood of procrastination.
As I lay in bed, swiping up on Instagram and watching short videos on YouTube, I knew that I had to pull away from them yet, I could feel the superpower of social media algorithms designed to engage and hold us captive.
This video talks about steps that helped me pull out of my mood of laziness and procrastination.
Try these steps:
1) Shift from these enticing short-form videos to long-form choosing content that help you ease into a mood of self-affection and grace. For me devotional music evokes feelings of self-love and compassion, gradually alleviating any guilt and shame.
2) Begin to bring order. Make your bed, bring order to my room, and organize your work table. As you do see if you would like to mentally chant an affirmation or a loving chant that connects you with unconditional love and your divine Source. Allow yourself to receive kindness and generosity, and once the room was tidied, permit it to fill you with a sense of satisfaction and completion.
3) Now engaged in a 10-minute, easeful stretching routine. Allow yourself to develop an easy, healthy habit that is not too demanding.
As I took these steps, straightening my room and engaging in gentle exercise increased my circulation and brought the energy and activity I needed back into my day.
Most people try to combat laziness and procrastination using strong willpower. However, some of these approaches involve self-judgment and criticism, if not mental flagellation. I believe that our procrastination is actually a call for emotional healing. It may indicate unaddressed anxiety or fear, or perhaps we have burdened ourselves with excessive self-criticism.
In my view, this mood of laziness is a sign of heaviness that descends upon us when we have reprimanded ourselves for far too long and withheld love from ourselves. The way forward is to ease ourselves back into that space of self-love and generosity, where we can once again expect greatness from ourselves.
Be careful about what you say to yourself. Your words create your world. How you describe yourself, both to yourself and others, shapes your self-image. Start by being understanding, kind, and generous to yourself. Be on your own side. Talk about yourself as the person you'd rather be.

In an interconnected world, we can not say that we are truly self-expressed and assertive, till we experience complete inner freedom to-
1- request help from others without inhibition,
2- be acutely attentive to others' needs for assistance and
3- offer help to them spontaneously without hesitation.
By seeking opportunities to serve others and challenging yourself outside your comfort zone, you infuse purpose into your everyday life and work.
Over time, this outlook will enable you to experience true self-expression and deepens your connection with others. It will promote personal growth and facilitate the development of genuine relationships built on trust and mutual support. Embrace the joy of helping others and the transformative power it holds for both yourself and those around you.

Saying “no” can be incredibly difficult and deeply uncomfortable for introverts or shy individuals.
How easy is it for you to say “no”?
If you struggle to say a clear and straight "no" in some circumstances, and it puts you in undesirable situations, then you may want to listen to this.
Because when you have created freedom for yourself to say no or yes, you can be the cause of creating what you value in your life. You can take charge of your life.

This is the second instalment in a series of conversations aimed at facilitating ease and openness in self-expression, as well as overcoming barriers that hinder the direct and bold expression of feelings and convictions without inner turmoil.
Step out of the realm of constant assessments:
Unconsciously, we find ourselves constantly measuring and assessing both ourselves and others, often making comparisons. While there is nothing inherently wrong with this mindset, excessive assessment can be constrictive and lead to self-consciousness and diminished confidence. By recognizing this tendency to constantly assess and by setting aside comparisons with others and ourselves, we may discover a refreshing and kinder perspective of ourselves and those around us.
Self-consciousness originates from our inclination to judge:
When we judge, we apply the same measure to ourselves as we do to others. By adopting a kinder outlook towards others, we can become less judgmental of ourselves. Cultivating self-love allows us to reduce our tendency to judge others as well.
Here are some practical steps you can take:
Let your authentic, powerful self shine through:
Honour this self through integrity and by staying true to your core values. By doing so, you will cultivate a deep sense of confidence and inner strength.

Our heart yearns for self-expression. It wants us to speak up. It craves the inner freedom to express itself fully, with ease and openness. Our fulfilment depends on standing up for ourselves, asserting ourselves, and sharing our authentic beliefs, emotional impressions, and intentions directly and honestly. You see, life is meant to be an expedition to discover, engage, and even jostle heartily with what's out there, and then endeavour to share our unique impressions, discoveries, and experiences. So, our heart craves meaningful exchanges, support, and deep connections that evoke mutual ease, love, and even oneness. It senses that what it has to share can serve and inspire others toward lives of greater fulfilment and a higher potential of being.
This is the first of a series of conversations aimed at bringing ease and openness in your self-expression and overcoming the barriers that hinder you from expressing your feelings and convictions directly and boldly, free from inner turmoil.

Free and powerful enough to design your own career, life and destiny.

HONOUR YOURSELF
This is a recording of a webinar on Honouring Yourself.
Honouring yourself is the source and foundation of self-belief and powerful presence. It gives you a unique and powerful presence.
When you respect yourself, others are compelled to respect you.
Being a leader calls you to learn to honour your highest self first.
The webinar addresses:
- What does it mean to truly honour yourself?
- What would it be like, if you really respected yourself?
- What difference would it make?
- How does it change the way others notice, listen and relate to you?
- What does it make possible?
- How does it show up? Visibly, in action.
- Can it be approached light-heartedly?
Honouring yourself calls you to be clear about what is important to you.
And Be a Stand for that.
To take charge of your life and destiny.
To claim the control back from your whims, random shifts in mood. You just refuse to let yourself down.
There is greater control over your way of being, your performance and the results you cause.
As you begin, learn and master this game and it begins to transform your life. It has the potential to make you unstoppable.
It is also to permit yourself some respectful healing spaciousness.
To send some compassion your way. And honour yourself light-heartedly, without making it another moral burden and heavy ‘should’ and ‘must’.
It remarkably impacts the way others’ notice you, listen and relate to you. Honouring your truest self, you are real to others- authentic. It spontaneously commands admiration as integrity for you is now, not a small matter, it reflects in your very being as what you stand for.
To acknowledge yourself as a huge person worthy of your respect,
even before you see its evidence. And then to come to life from there.
Just the practice of honouring yourself is sufficient to take you to your fulfilment.
This webinar is about this and how you can turn Honouring yourself into a simple, light-hearted game that you introduce and play in your life.

We dwell not in one, but many realms of being.
First is the mental realm of thinking and analysis.
The realm of our subjective stories, mental interpretations and points of view.
Spending too much time here can feel like overthinking.
The second is the realm of pure action.
When we are being in the realm of action, we are actually making a difference in our life.
This is the realm in which we make stuff happen.
Just to shift to this world of action is to begin to create life on our terms.
So take a moment to check - have you been spending most of your time in the mental world or in the realm of action?
