Hello my loves,

We're here once again. I've been pondering on what vulnerability means to me and its role. In an ideal world I think we would all love to bring our full selves to every interaction but that's easier said than done. If Vulnerability means open to attack, than why do we expose ourselves? Although I don't have all the answers, lets explore this and see where we land.

The second last interview of the Taylu Podcast is here and I'm joined with my friend Liv. We've been trying to tee this up for sometime and I'm so incredibly happy it finally happened. It was so inspiring to dive deeper into her upbringing and the moments that have shaped her into who she is. We cover a range of topics from heritage, beauty standards, the modelling industry and much more.

Enjoy!

I've been trying to record this episode for sometime and it's still a concept I'm getting comfortable with. This episode is by no means perfect and perhaps I might revisit it, but as I've always said, this podcast isn't suppose to be perfect. Instead I want to explore topics that interest me, even in the midst of figuring it out.

Embarrassment, we've all experienced it, but what purpose does it serve in our lives and how do we come to terms with it?

Somewhat of a bare bones episode, but I wanted to open the dialogue up and so lets explore.

Recorded in 2020, I interviewed Flavia during Covid times. We hadn't met at this point but jumped on zoom and had such an insightful conversation about modelling, womanhood, black hair, our views on working in the industry and being women of colour.

I truly enjoyed this conversation and although its taken such a long time to upload. I hope you enjoy.

There was such a lead up to recording this episode, myself and Nate kept trying to find the time to record it. But I'm so grateful it finally happened. We dissect the topic of boyhood and explore family dynamics, the intricate layers of finding yourself as a boy and much more.

Ps. This episode was recorded back in 2021, so please excuse us for referencing some things that may be outdated, however the conversation is still great and I hope you enjoy listening.

So last year I cried on my birthday. I was completely overwhelmed and left feeling disappointed. I know that may sound extremely silly, but I feel like we've all been there in one way or another.

This made me really reflect on the friendships in my life and a deeper reflection on how to deal with your expectations not being met whilst navigating friendship dynamics.

No matter how old you are, we've all had to deal with coming to terms with ever changing dynamics with our friends. I chat through my experience and the things I've learnt.

Hope you enjoy

I first came across Stella through a recommendation for psychics. I was in a period of my life where I was feeling quite lost and wanted some guidance in some way. I quickly got in touch and her predictions/insights came in different ways.

This episode was recorded back in 2020 but nonetheless its still so relevant.

We explore spirituality, coming into your own and manifesting. Stella is such a beautiful soul and I can't thank her enough for coming onto the podcast.

At the start of 2020 (before covid) I was having a tough time, some may say I was having a breakdown.

I felt lost and was putting immense pressure on myself to have life sorted out.

I chat about some of the themes I was experiencing, from finding identity through work and whether or not that's healthy, to how I dealt with my emotions and the numerous conversations I had with my peers and loved ones.

Hope you enjoy and

Ps. I'm better now :)

Hello Hello!

Welcome to season 2 of the Taylu podcast. After a one year hiatus I'm back and feeling really excited for this new chapter. I won't make any excuses for why I've been away for so long but here we are now.

Season two is going to be a bit different. I'll alternate between solo episodes and having some incredible guests who inspire me. The topics will range depending on the episode but really we're exploring life, the things that matter to us and seeing where the conversation takes us.

Hope you enjoy my first solo episode where I chat through the inspiration of the podcast and what led me to creating it.

Lots more to come. X
