In this SECOND EDTION of "Work Well with Your Self", we introduce the "art of play" as a holistic modality to increase and tap into the mind-body connection.

How many times have we all said, "I'm BUSY!" Ok, honestly, my hand immediately went up! The reality is, we don't see ourselves becoming less busy, right? The repetitive cycle of daily tasks, checker-blocked calendars, family commitments and ruminating thoughts can send any CEO, student or stay-at-home parent into burnout and check out status.

Here is where Jubilee Counseling and Wellness, LLC JaVon Townsend, licensed social worker, Fulbright researcher (Accra, Ghana) and Albert Schweitzer Fellow (Baltimore City) supports our personal, community and workplace spaces with "ground centering" play through creative arts. Her sessions are designed to engage the whole body for anxiety, depression and stress reduction.

A playful plan to help people "Keep Going" in peace and on pace through self-knowledge, self-compassion and cultivating community care is her primary purpose.

We encourage you to take some time this holiday Monday and listen to JaVon's suggestions on how to re-align your divine self and move towards transformative restoration through play.

FTZ The Uncommon Connector "All about the educator"
The Functional Training environment was thought to be a problem that's replicated around the nation. Many people have taken the opportunity to educate themselves through expensive degree programs in their projected field only to end up in debt and without gainful employment. Our efforts are to lessen the gap between the uninformed student and the professional.

FTZ feels that people who are not successful are simply uninformed on how to get there. Providing educational requirements, collateral duties, and salary range dynamics along with guest personal testimony about his or her journey to get there is of heavy importance.
