Sermon Number 2 in the Revelation Series. Revelation 1:4-8. In this installment, we get a “sneak peak” from John as to the entire overall theme and message of Revelation.
The one thing that will always describe our character is our tongue - that is - how we speak. Jesus taught us that the tongue reveals the heart of all people. That is why a tamed tongue is one of the key characteristics in genuine faith in Jesus Christ, for we cannot tame our tongues ourselves, but rather through our faith in Christ, He will help tame it for us. This morning we continue with the 4th part of a 4 part study in our continuing study of the book of James on Taming the Tongue.
