7-day love challenge Author Emily Thiroux Threatt inspired this 7-Day Love Challenge.

While her close friend was grieving the sudden death of her husband, Emily wrote and sent her 52 cards (one per week) of support and encouragement. And she hand-made the cards!

Although I'm not as artistic as Emily, I can undoubtedly write encouraging letters. So, I'm challenging myself to write one short but sweet love note every day for one week. The recipients will include my loved ones and me.

I encourage you to join me. This challenge can transform and strengthen your relationship with yourself, your family, and your friends.

You may need to step out of your comfort zone to do this, but that's a good thing.

How to Gain Clarity and Confidence Today we complete the final two steps to identify our top five values! Here are steps four and five:

Step 4

Prioritize your list by assigning each value a number. The higher the number, the more critical that standard is to you. 

Step 5

Identify your top 5. Reflect on each one, recalling instances in your life when those particular values have guided your behavior. 

Congratulations!

Now that you’ve identified your top five values, it’s time to use them intentionally. You have the tools to be true to yourself; to make wise choices; to take action with confidence. Whenever you find yourself wavering between making a decision, allow your values to guide you. When you know who you are and what’s important to you, making decisions becomes a lot easier.

Step 3

Browse through a list of values and allow your values to reveal themselves. Trust your intuition and use your responses from step one as a guide. Write down at least five and no more than ten.

This is an important step, so take your time and be fully present. Once you’ve picked ten values, do a happy and dance and celebrate your accomplishment!
