Hey hey hey and welcome back!In today's world, it's easy to feel like we're constantly bombarded. Between the never-ending news cycle, the pressure to stay connected, and the sheer volume of information at our fingertips, it can be hard to find a moment of peace, let alone truly focus on what's right in front of us.But what if I told you that the key to unlocking a calmer, more fulfilling life lies not in eliminating distractions, but in cultivating presence? In this episode I dive into how crucial it is to be intentionally present even in the midst of the chaos. This doesn't mean ignoring your responsibilities or shutting out the world entirely. It's about consciously choosing to be where you are, both physically and mentally.By being present, we can:* Appreciate the little things. Life is full of beauty, and it's easy to miss it when we're constantly rushing from one thing to the next. * Deepen our connections. When we're present with the people we care about, we are able to make memories we can carry forever. * Boost our productivity. When we're focused on the task at hand, we can get more done in less time, and with less stress. Alllll busy women can use this!Remember, being present is a practice. It takes time and effort, but the rewards are truly worth it.~Jada 💜--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
When we are little girls, we are fearless. We dream big, laugh loud, and believe in the limitless possibilities that life holds. We're willing to chase after every aspiration with unwavering determination. But as we grow older, something changes. We become more cautious, our confidence wanes, and our dreams often take a backseat to the practicalities of life. So, what causes this shift? Societal expectations, past failures, and self-doubt can creep in, overshadowing our once-bold spirits. Responsibilities multiply, and the weight of adulthood often presses down on our dreams. Yet, even amidst these challenges, we evolve into resilient, loving beings known as momma bears. We pour every ounce of our strength and love into our children, striving to give them the world—even when we feel like we're not living up to our best.In a recent personal experience with my oldest daughter, I was reminded of the importance of showing up, no matter when we feel we fall short. It's a story I want to share with every momma bear out there. We often set impossibly high standards for ourselves, forgetting that our love, presence, and effort are what truly matter. To all the momma bears who feel like they’re falling short—remember, you are enough. Your dreams may have taken a detour, but your journey is far from over. By showing up for your children and for yourself, you teach them resilience, love, and the power of perseverance. We must keep going, not just for our children but for ourselves. They deserve to see us thrive, and we deserve to live up to our fullest potential. Let's give ourselves the grace to stumble, to rise, and to continue moving forward. After all, the world needs the fearless spirit of little girls and the unwavering strength of momma bears.Stay encouraged, and remember: showing up is half the battle. We’re in this together, and together, we can achieve so much more than we ever thought possible.~Jada 💜--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support

In this episode I give a special shout out to all of the women who are “mothering” our beautiful children; as well as recognize those who may be motherless.I fit into both of those categories and had to realize the importance of honoring myself to include my thoughts, feelings, and yes my grief. Here are a few ways we can look into honoring ourselves: 1. Self-Care: Physical and Mental Health: Taking care of our bodies through regular exercise, a balanced diet, and adequate rest along with engaging in activities that reduce stress, such as mindfulness, meditation, or hobbies, supports mental well-being. 2. Self-Respect and Boundaries: Saying “No!” Learning to say no when necessary protects our time and energy. This ensures that we don’t overextend ourselves, which can lead to physical and emotional exhaustion.3. Personal Growth: Self-Reflection- Regular self-reflection allows us to understand our values, goals, and emotions. It enables us to make decisions aligned with our true selves.4. Emotional Health: Self-Compassion- Treating ourselves with kindness and understanding, especially during times of failure or difficulty, is crucial for emotional health. It helps us bounce back from setbacks and fosters a positive self-image.5. Supporting Others: Leading by Example - By honoring ourselves, we model healthy behaviors for others. This can inspire them to take better care of themselves. Our ability to be empathetic, patient, and effective is heightened when our own needs are met.So make sure to honor yourself daily, not waiting on certain times or dates, but as YOU need. ~Jada 💜--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
Times of transition can be both exciting and challenging. They often involve change, uncertainty, and the need to adapt to new circumstances. Whether it's moving from one season to the next, starting a new job, moving to a different city, ending a relationship, or any other significant life change, transitions can bring a mix of emotions and experiences. During times of transition, it's important to give yourself space for self-reflection and to do the things to celebrate your resilience and resolve…to take care of yourself and continue to build yourself up!As we look into not only more holidays, hey to my momma’s and caregivers out there knocking on the door of Mother’s day; some of us are also preparing for out of school plans for our babies.Remember that transitions are opportunities for growth and learning, and for the opportunity to say “no” to all the people and things that may lead to you feeling burnt out. Setting boundaries and taking care of yourself is crucial for your well-being. It's okay to prioritize your mental and emotional health by saying no when you need to, taking a step back when things get overwhelming, and taking time to recharge. Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup…refilling your cup allows you to be at your best for yourself and others. So while we set to embrace the transitions upon us, let us not lose ourselves in the process.~Jada 💜--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
Have you ever experienced life life-ing at the most inappropriate times, leaving you in a state of freeze and/or flight? We can have all the plans and greatest intentions, but every now and again something pops up throwing us off course. Trust me…it happens to us all!In this episode I share a real, raw, recent situation that happened to me and how I actually used the three tips I’m breaking down. The first deals with times when you are feeling stuck, how it can be helpful to engage in introspective work to identify the root cause of the issue. To separate the facts from the feelings. The second leans into creating a safe space with those you trust. This can allow you to get out your feelings, while receiving support you need and a different perspective that can result in solutions you can incorporate. Lastly is engaging in productive physical activities that can allow for a release of what you may be feeling. Exercising, painting, gardening, all the things to focus your energy to something else can prove helpful. Ultimately we are seeking clarity and productive ways to turn “negatives” into positives. So remember to prioritize self-care and seek the way ahead!Again, you’re not in this alone!~Jada 💜--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
Let's take a moment together to acknowledge the challenges and obstacles that come our way. Life can be unpredictable, and it's natural to face difficulties along the journey. When we stop to take a deep breath and recognize that facing challenges is an inevitable part of the human experience we allow ourselves space to Feel the Feels. These challenges can come in many forms – they might be personal, professional, emotional, or physical. They can test our strength, resilience, and patience; often coming at times that we may not be prepared to deal with them.Accepting these challenges doesn't mean we have to like them or pretend they don't exist. Instead, it's about acknowledging their presence and understanding that they are opportunities for growth and learning.Let's embrace the idea that challenges can help us develop new skills, deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world, and ultimately lead us to become stronger and more resilient individuals. As we accept these challenges, let's also remind ourselves that we are not alone. We have the support of friends, family, and communities to lean on during difficult times. And within ourselves, we have the strength and resources to overcome even the toughest obstacles. So let's face these challenges head-on with courage, determination, and an open heart, knowing that we have the power to navigate through them and emerge stronger on the other side. And please remember…your feelings ARE valid and you are not alone.~Jada 💜--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
Sometimes in order to receive, we must find the strength, courage, and ability let go. Some things, including some people, are only meant to be in our lives for specific lessons. The saying is true that some people are in our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. It is imperative that regardless of the final outcome, the lessons learned and the journey have their own purposes in our final destination. We must not look at what we thought to be as failures, despite the hurt in the moment. Instead we should focus on the good and move forward.I do understand we experience a host of emotions when we are faced with decisions that go against what we dreamed, prayed, and worked for. However, to ensure that we don’t lose it all, we must realize that the very things we try to hold on to so tightly, will end up being the very ones we lose if we are not able o pivot and make wiser choices. Here are a few nuggets for when you are faced with the decision, or result of someone else’s decision that directly impacts you:1. Allow yourself time, space and grace to grieve: It's important to acknowledge and process your emotions related to the loss. Give yourself permission to feel sadness, anger, or any other emotions that may arise.2. Seek support: Reach out to friends, family, or a therapist for emotional support. Talking about your feelings with others can help you feel less alone and provide perspective, along with strength to keep moving forward. 3. Practice self-care: Take care of yourself physically, emotionally, and mentally. Engage in activities that bring you comfort and relaxation, such as exercise, meditation, journaling, or hobbies.4. Reflect on the lessons learned: Consider what you have gained from the experience, even if it was painful. Reflecting on the lessons learned can help you grow and move forward.5. Set new goals: Redirect your focus towards new dreams, relationships, or personal growth opportunities. Setting new goals can give you a sense of purpose and direction.6. Be patient with yourself: Healing from loss takes time, so be patient with yourself as you navigate through the process. Remember that it's okay to take small steps towards healing.Remember we all have our unique journey through life and situations, however, we don’t have to go through them alone. While it is imperative to find coping strategies that work best for you, seek out others who may be able to help you navigate the process. And remember, you ARE strong and able to do hard things. Once you are on the other side you will be amazed at just how strong you truly are and prepared to pour into others who will need you. ~Jada 💜--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
Self-belief and clear communication are powerful tools for achieving goals. Having a clear intention sets the direction for your efforts. It's like picking a destination before you start a trip.Of course we know that obstacles are inevitable, but they can also be opportunities to learn and grow. They show where us where adjustments to our approach may need to be tweaked. A strong purpose fuels our motivation and helps us to remain focused during tough times. Knowing your "why" can keep you going when the "how" gets challenging.Honest communication with ourselves allows us to identify our needs and limitations. Openness with those in our circle of trust allows them to the opportunity to offer the help when we need it most.Remember, achieving goals is a journey, not a destination. There will be ups and downs, but by staying true to yourself and communicating effectively, you'll be well on your way to success. And yes…we all deserve it!~Jada 💜--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
When dealing with transitions and transformations, it is important to approach them with a positive mindset. I love the thought of being like bamboo, we bend but we don’t break. This can be done by embracing change, instead of resisting or fearing change, try to embrace it as an opportunity for growth and development. Remain flexible and learn how to be open to new possibilities and willingness to adapt to new situations. Flexibility is key when navigating through transitions. Just as we can focus on the negatives we can also choose to focus on the positives: Look for the silver lining in every change and focus on the potential benefits that may come from it! Support and accountability is crucial so remember to reach out to friends, family, or colleagues for support during times of transition. Having a strong support system can help you navigate through changes more smoothly. Lastly, self-care is not selfish, so make sure to take care of yourself! Self-care is essential during times of transition. Make sure to prioritize your physical and emotional well-being by getting enough rest, eating well, and engaging in activities that bring you joy. Remember, you don’t have to live this life on an island alone. I too am in the thick of my own personal transitions and transformations, which are blessings. I can’t wait to reach the other side and for you to do the same! Create and maintain a positive attitude and implementing these strategies, you can navigate through change more effectively and emerge stronger on the other side.Let’s go!!~Jada 💜--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
As women we tend to find it hard to receive a compliment or even grace from other people; forget giving it to ourselves Receiving grace from others can be challenging due to various reasons. Some women struggle with feelings of unworthiness, leading to difficulty in accepting kindness. This deep-rooted sense of inadequacy can hinder one's ability to embrace gestures of grace from others. Add to that societal norms and personal beliefs, that can compound in women not being able to perceive acts of grace. Cultural expectations or past experiences can also create barriers to accepting help or kindness graciously.A big reason is a fear of vulnerability. Opening up to receive kindness requires a level of vulnerability that some individuals may find uncomfortable or unfamiliar. This fear of being exposed or dependent on others can make it challenging to receive grace gracefully. Furthermore, pride or a desire for independence can also negatively impact the ability to accept help or support from others. It is essential that we recognize these barriers and work towards overcoming them to cultivate a mindset of openness and gratitude. Developing self-awareness and practicing self-compassion can help individuals become more receptive to grace from others. By acknowledging and challenging internal barriers, we can gradually learn to accept kindness and support from those around them.YOU are amazing, resilient, and worthy of the acknowledgments and grace given to you. There are times in our lives when things happen, willingly or not, that cause for us to change…to pivot if you will. If we accept, welcome, and embrace those moments we may find our paths forward straighter and our trajectories higher. There are times in our lives when things happen, willingly or not, that cause for us to change…to pivot if you will. But by embracing these pivots, rather than resisting them, we open ourselves up to some exciting possibilities.Acceptance paves the way for adaptation: When we fight change, we get stuck. However, by accepting it, we can start figuring out how to move forward in the new reality.Welcoming change opens doors to opportunity: New situations can lead to unexpected discoveries and hidden talents. We might find a career path we never considered, or a new way of living that brings us more joy.Embracing change fuels growth: Stepping outside our comfort zone can be scary, but it's also where the magic happens. When it comes to reaching the outcomes you want it will take active planning and taking steps to achieve a specific result. In this episode we will take a look at what it takes for us to be intentional with our thoughts, feelings, and actions.By being intentional we are able to do a few things:We are able to clarify our Goals. As we are intentional in this area we are able to clearly define what we want to achieve. By creating a clear mental picture of what success looks like we are able to visualize our desired outcomes, which leads to us staying focused and motivated.I am huge on breaking down goals into smaller, actionable steps, so by intentionally creating a plan outlining how you will achieve each step, including deadlines and milestones is imperative.Intentionality also helps us to eliminate distractions and stay focused on our goals. This is increased when we have accountability partners to assist us with reaching them. Our mindset and decisions play a crucial role in shaping our lives. I often say, because I truly believe, we are stronger than we give ourselves credit for. We are able to not only do hard things, but to succeed in them. When it comes to our mindset we must shape them because they impact so much!A positive mindset often leads to a more proactive approach towards goals and challenges, increasing the likelihood of success. Decisions aligned with this mindset, such as setting realistic goals, persisting in the face of obstacles, and seeking opportunities for growth, can significantly influence one's achievements. Our mindset and decisions can affect our physical and mental health. For example, a mindset focused on self-care and positivity can lead to decisions such as regular exercise, healthy eating habits, and seeking support when needed. A growth mindset, which embraces challenges and sees failures as opportunities for learning, can enhance resilience and adaptability. Decisions made with this mindset focus on learning from setbacks, seeking feedback, and adjusting strategies accordingly, which can lead to greater personal and professional growth over time. Our mindset and decisions heavily influence our overall sense of happiness and fulfillment. Choosing to focus on gratitude, positivity, and personal values can lead to decisions that prioritize experiences and activities that bring joy and meaning into our lives. Conversely, decisions driven by materialism, comparison, or fear may lead to a sense of emptiness or dissatisfaction. And one last note is how our mindset and decisions determine our willingness to invest in personal development and self-improvement. A growth mindset fosters a desire to learn, grow, and evolve over time, leading to decisions such as seeking out new experiences, acquiring new skills, and pursuing opportunities for self-discovery and growth.Ultimately, our mindset shapes the lens through which we view the world, while our decisions determine the actions we take. Together, they have a profound impact on our experiences, achievements, relationships, and overall well-being. Cultivating a positive mindset and making decisions aligned with our values and goals can lead to a more fulfilling and successful life.Protect your mind, grow your mind, and share what you learn!~Jada 💜--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support

This week I bring you all into my world of grief as I’m approaching the second year of my daddy’s passing. Often when I share with others that I lost my parents 33 days apart, they are often shocked at how positive I remain and how I am able to move forward as I do. A close friend told me that I’m resilient…although we were talking about another topic it made me reflect on how I have handled losing my two hero’s. In this real, raw, and relatable episode I invite you to listen and please share with me any thoughts you have. I am not, will never be, and don’t want to be perfect. Matter of fact I am just as human as anyone…and this is a piece of my story. Thank you in advance for your time, ear, and compassion. Thanks for joining me this week as I talk about the importance of bending, but not breaking. In full transparency the last three weeks have been a lot, between work, celebrations, grief, and the list goes on and on…as it does for most of us. I love that I have been blessed by the many desires I prayed for, but at times it can be a lot. I often share with those I coach, teach, and mentor the very things I personally do. 1. Feel the feels. It is ok to acknowledge and accept how situations and people can make you “feel”. No one is immune to “life” happening. So take a moment to just be. Take a beat, take a pause. 2. Listen to your intuition and to the Higher being you connect to. There are also many distractions in the world today. So much information coming at us so fast, it’s often hard to decipher fact from fiction. By going slow to go fast, listing to take the right next steps is crucial. 3. Obey what you know is true. We often second guess ourselves because we are too busy listening to the opinions of everyone else. Once you are able to hear what you need to do, trust the process and be obedient in taking the steps to move forward. 4. Wait, be patient, be intentional, be great! It is hard to slow down when everyone and everything demands for instant gratification. Know that in your “waiting” you are being prepared and strengthened to jump back in even better!!It took me time to honor myself, to truly slow down; but I am SO much better mentally, physically, and spiritually at this point. Remember you are not alone! Just keep bending and don’t break ♥️Jada 🦋Book a free call: https://calendly.com/jhartfieldmia/60min--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
Hey lady, yes you!The one wearing ALL the hats, doing ALL things, going to ALL the places, for ALL the people….except herself.Yes…YOU!Look I am not trying to call you out, I too am wearing those hats and yes even at times forgetting to do what I cover in this episode…remembering to Pour into our own vessels. It has taken me years to really grasp, accept and intentional practice pouring into myself. Understanding that by doing so I am positioning myself to be even better for all those who need me. I also understand how spouses, family, friends, society and even social media can try to make you feel bad when you do those things JUST for yourself. In this episode I am encouraging you to do those things that allow you to thrive! We only have this one life to live on this Earth, so let’s make the most of it starting with US!Plus my babygirl joins in with her own nuggets of wisdom you don’t want to miss 🥰Jada 🦋Book a free call: https://calendly.com/jhartfieldmia/60min--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
My daddy used to say to me “babygirl, mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it won’t matter!” Of course he would use this little nugget on me when I was complaining or procrastinating…basically at the most inappropriate time for me! Lol. However, as with most things as we live more life, his words have definitely come up and actually helped me to P.U.S.H. through even when I may not “feel” like it. Pray Until Something Happens. I have come to really understand that it is truly our mindsets that determine our outcomes. For example, when it comes to working out a lot of trainers will tell their clients “your body will go where your mind tells it to”. This can be the same for any action we want, need, and desire to take. So let’s talk about mindset and how we should really be aware of what we see and hear that impacts our thoughts…and actions. There are times when many of us believe that we must “go it alone” when faced with decisions. Reasons vary, but between society, family, and of course the “reality” that’s on Social Media many find theme selves trying to figure things out in a vacuum alone……or with the help of good ole Google. In this episode I still touch on the topic of Transitions, but dive into the importance of leaning into the desires you have and leaning on those who can help you achieve them. As a certified Life & Success Coach I know the importance of utilizing my resources to reach my wants, needs, desires and goals. I understand that investing is crucial to my success. So if you are still in the sidelines if your life this is your sign to give yourself permission to move forward. To take the steps…mentally, physically, emotionally, and yes financially if need be to reach your desired end-state. If you want something different lady, you have to do something different. Another week and another new episode 🙌🏾🙌🏾
This week I jump into the topic of transitions, which covers a few different “types” of events.
If you are anything like me, you are pretty much over the Dog Days of Summer!! The temperatures everywhere have been truly unbearable.
So I welcome the transition into the fall with open arms 🤣
Another transition topic is that if losing loved ones. Whether you are “prepared” or not, the vacancy left behind can also seem unbearable.
I have shared about the loss of both of my beloved parents throughout this platform and it is honestly one of the hardest things to deal with. However; I intentionally Live their Legacies daily and that is what has aided me in the transition of them not being here.
I empathize with any and all who become part of this club, but I find Peace in the understanding of the loss.
Lastly, for this episode is the transition of US! Meaning…as busy women and momma bears (if you were the title) are transitioning into a perfect time to prioritize ourselves!
Self-love and Self-care, however that looks for you, is NOT Self-ish.
So let’s make the most of our time and become the best versions of ourselves. Not only for us, but for those who need us 🩷
Transitions are what we make of them, so let’s make them the best!

In this brand new episode I take some time to re-introduce myself and the purpose of doing this podcast; while also sharing a few events of the past week.
As a serial Type-A personality I tend to operate from lists and processes and NOT in shades of gray.
However, I have learned to operate more like bamboo…bending but not breaking. Allowing myself space to work from a place of flow.
Even when faced with adversity, yes we all have to deal with it from time to time, I am finding ways of coping and pushing forward.
Like many others, I strive to do at least 1% more than the previous day; because I am a firm believer that the small steps WILL lead to accomplishing my dreams and goals.
Aligning His Purpose and my plans as I continue to show up here each and every week has resulted in my ability to thrive, and I want the same for you.
So join me and take some time to reflect on the questions I address.
As always I love to hear from you all, so continue to reach out 🩷

How often do you read something, see something, or hear something that not only makes you take inventory of where you are…but actually makes you WANT to get up and actually do something?!
So you start formulating the way ahead in your mind and you may even “set” a goal. All is good, but then you start to doubt, question, or overthink the situation.
You decide to put it off until tomorrow, or the first of the month…to only look up and back over the past however many days and months without taking one step forward?
What do you do when the motivation, inspiration, and encouragement passes or does down?
How do you stay the course and stay on track?
That’s what I dove into this week and encourage you to not only listen, but to really think about this and share your tips because it may be what others (even me) may need!

In this episode I take a moment to challenge us all to go back to the our own personal basics.
Basics? Yes to the dreams, goals, desires, and passions we internally have that have yet to be fully realized.
To make, and yes take, time to think over something we have possible neglected that is truly what we have been given as our own gifts and talents…our Purpose in this lifetime!
Then to figure out the way to align all of this so we are able to fully walk in and live the life we want while we have the time to enjoy it.
And as always, to find the ways, platforms, and opportunities to share them with others; to possibly pour into them to do the same.
Transitions are coming y’all, so let’s use this time to get after our callings.

I find it interesting how society, culture, family and friends try to hold onto taboos and pass them on as truths.
How individuals will hold onto these “truths” to validate their feelings, words, and actions.
No one is immune to life and the curve balls thrown from time to time.
No one lives their life without trials, tests, temptations, and tribulations.
We ALL have disappointments, whether from our own doing or from those we never saw coming.
As I always say, feel the feels when you are dealt a hand that has you sad, mad, frustrated or even-yes disappointed.
However, when that moment is done have the Discipline to carry out the actions to turn the situation around.
That may be you actively doing something, turning to someone else to handle it, or to just BE STILL.
Join me in this episode as I share a recent situation and how I take steps to turn it to my favor.
Take back your Power!

I am not quite sure how time continues to move SO fast, yet here we are another whole week since the last episode!
As we all continue to adjust to “school” schedules and for my home that means a bit of a tighter routine.
It’s funny though how those “tweaks” also lead to the opportunities to create the time we need to continue getting after our dreams, goals, and desires.
My challenge to you all is to KEEP pushing. We all find ways of being there for everyone and everything, but find all the excuses to Not even attempt to take a small step for ourselves.
Well my friend, this is the time to dig in, to go ahead and plant the seeds you will nourish and grow.
This is the time to dust off those desires and goals…to make them a part of YOU!
This is NOT the time to give in or to give up.

This week I dive into thoughts I have had over the past week as I celebrated my momma’s 2nd Heavenly Birthday and only two days shy of celebrating the same for my daddy.
I always say that I too am human, I am in this body/flesh and therefore, NOT immune to life’s happenings. Good, bad or indifferent.
I continue to walk in the ways that I share with you all each week and this week I let you in on that happening in real-time for me.
I too have those moments of doubt, worry, and fear…but like YOU, I am the Solution to my problems. We either have the answers from last events, a lifeline to someone who has been through the trials, or good ole Google that helps us to figure it out.
Regardless…YOU are the Solution, remember that the next time your obstacles seem large.
I also have an incredible surprise guest on and I am a firm believer that we can all learn and gain from any and everyone.

Trust and believe that you are not on an island alone when it comes to life throwing obstacles, distractions, and hurdles at you.
Can you relate to finally deciding what your dreams, goals and desires are. You have the roadmap and all the motivation pushing you to the finish line. All is going well, maybe too well, and then BAM out of what seems to be nowhere you are derailed!!
My question to you is this, what do you do from that point of interruption?
Do your dreams disappear? Do you find yourself in such despair that you abort them?
Life happens to ALL of us. Shoot it jumped up and got me this time last week, lol, but just as you have the power to determine your way ahead…I did too!

Thank you for being flexible with me as I deal with technically difficulties! I have decided that it is time for me to refocus on my own dreams, goals, and desires…and create an actionable roadmap to get to them.
To really take a hard look at what I want to accomplish by way of not only living the legacy of my parents, but in creating the one I want to leave for my three babies.
I have been conditioned and so caught up in trying to be “perfect” and to do everything just right before putting myself out there.
I understand these “inactions” were based in fear, and I am now ready to soar. To take the messy action, to get out of my own way so I can not only live out my dreams but to help those I am destined to.
What about you? What is holding you back? Who is missing out on your gifts and talents because you are in your own way?
This is not judgment…but accountability for us all!
So the time is now…let’s get after it shall we?!

It took me about four good days to understand the root cause of my placement on the above mentioned bus. As we were into all things celebration of our newly three year old twins, the loss of my parents hit my subconscious and derailed my mood.
Regardless if we are dealing with the loss of loved ones, relationships, or jobs grief can hit us all…and at times we aren’t prepared for.
I love being transparent and having this platform allows me an outlet to share and grow.
I invite you to listen in and to take time to acknowledge, accept and overcome any loss(es) you may be dealing with.

In this brand new episode I continue to talk about the importance of our investments and the returns we get from them.
Daily we each make decisions that either lead us closer to our dreams, goals, and desires OR they keep us where we currently are. At worst…they set us back 😳
We are also still on celebration modes with just having the Fourth of July here in the states and I personally had a major milestone of my twins turning THREE 🩷🎉💙.
Still…in the midst of it all we must ensure that where we spend our time and money, and yes our emotions we invest wise!

Hey hey hey! A new week and a new episode.
I wanted to slow down this week and address how we should address life throwing us curve balls and doesn’t go along with our plan.
There are times when no matter the amount of planning we do, things or people are going to come our way that we did NOT invite into our space…yet we still have to react to it.
In this episode I just want to encourage, remind, and tell you that YOU are resilient. YOU have the power to choose how you will react to any and everything. YOU have a voice and say to what happens in this life.
So let’s dive in, acknowledge and really look at the areas where we may be allowing a ourselves to be stuck so we can find the fortitude to move forward to accomplish what is best for us, our families, and our communities.
The choice is yours…the time is now…you CAN do this!

Ok ladies! I know, I know, I have been after you all this season to step into taking care of yourselves.

This past weekend was amazing! Not because we had a four-day weekend, but because I was able to witness my intelligent, beautiful, talented, sweet, incredible daughter compete in her first pageant.
While she didn’t come home with the crown, she walked away with even more confidence and pride within herself that it was truly worth every sacrifice her daddy and I made, along with our amazing tribe of family and friends.
My sweet Livie taught me valuable lessons throughout the weekend which shaped this episode.
Not only watching her, but asking her thought-provoking questions she’d light on how I, and you, should return to our roots of living fearlessly and going after our dreams, goals, desires, and aspirations.
Join me in this episode and come with an open heart and mind to not only my thoughts, but to the callings within yourself 🩷
In this life we can, and should, learn from others no matter their age. Hopefully we drop a nugget or two for you in this episode. If we do please leave a review and let us know!

This week’s episode still finds me in celebration mode as we are fresh off the heels of my big girl’s Kindergarten graduation, her Spring dance recitals, and preparing for her first pageant. However, due to all of that I had a moment of wanting to ensure that I, AND YOU my amazing friend, slow down enough to do things for ourselves in the midst of consistently doing for everyone else. I know, people and the world have us thinking that by making, and taking, time to do something for ourselves we are being selfish. Well I am here to declare that to be a LIE!! Doing the things, big and small, for ourselves actually positions us to be better for those counting on us. So as we are all beginning to transition into summer and all things fun, please remember to DO something for YOU!!Jada 🦋Podcast Audio:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-b-e-i-n-g-podcast/id1640089477https://open.spotify.com/episode/4cGuZV01IazcRALv9Hljmu?si=_WeRBE2oS5OhqKQVz-gMcg YouTube:https://youtu.be/ie0M-ti6f4kConnect with me!!IG: https://instagram.com/jadahartfieldconsulting?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=FB: https://www.facebook.com/jlhartfield?mibextid=LQQJ4dLinkedIn: http://linkedin.com/in/jada-hartfieldBook a free call: https://calendly.com/jhartfieldmia/60min--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
We are definitely in the celebration season! Spring has finally sprung, and we are in the flow of graduations, weddings, and of course Mother’s Day just passed. Being a New Year’s Day baby, yes we won the prizes as I ran out feet first at 0129hrs 🤣, so I LOVE to celebrate. The thing is though, while there seems to be a National “something” day every day…while we stop and celebrate those and the other “bigger” holidays, I am a firm believer on celebrating the small victories too. In this episode I dig into the importance of taking notice of what we accomplish and overcome, and making it a point of taking time to celebrate and reward those efforts. None of us are guaranteed to see another birthday or holiday; so let’s recognize our resilience, perseverance, and fortitude while we can. You my dear listener DESERVE this and it will make you that much better once you grace yourself as you do everyone else. Alright…let’s dive in and celebrate…I challenge you to start TODAY! Have you heard the saying, “You can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your family”? There is a lot of truth in that statement and as adults, who have some life experience behind us, this is even more relevant now. I say often to my friends, and to myself to be honest, that while it does “take a village to raise a child”, we as women also need our own community. In this episode I share the different “members” of my community that I have been intentional with curating, and why they are so important to me. I encourage you to build your own tribe, those trusted individuals who you can lean on, stand-in for, and just support as we continue through this journey of life. We are not meant to live in this world alone and I believe with the right support system for YOU in place, the sky is the limit and you will be able to live in the desired state you want. So join me and let’s take a look at Creating your Community.Jada 🦋Podcast Audio:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-b-e-i-n-g-podcast/id1640089477https://open.spotify.com/episode/4cGuZV01IazcRALv9Hljmu?si=_WeRBE2oS5OhqKQVz-gMcg YouTube:https://youtu.be/ie0M-ti6f4kConnect with me!!IG: https://instagram.com/jadahartfieldconsulting?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=FB: https://www.facebook.com/jlhartfield?mibextid=LQQJ4dLinkedIn: http://linkedin.com/in/jada-hartfieldBook a free call: https://calendly.com/jhartfieldmia/60min--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
It’s funny how when things tend to go wrong I’m relationships, marriages, and even at work it is often chalked up to a lack of communication…leading to misunderstandings and misguided decisions. I’m this episode I re-visit the art of communication, but from the vantage point of HOW we talk to ourselves. Many advise that we ought to speak to ourselves as we would to a family member or to a friend. We are often reminded to extend the same grace to ourselves as we do them. However, we have also been conditioned to believe that doing anything for ourselves is “selfish”. So where do we truly start? Sis, we must start from a full cup and that happens from doing what they suggest. Give yourself the space, grace, consideration, and compassion you extend to everyone else. Talk the talk YOU need to take the steps forward toward your dreams, goals and desires. Them start expressing and teaching those around you exactly what you need in order to fulfill the desires of your heart. So…what will you speak into your life today? This week? The power of choice and action are yours…take hold and make it happen!Jada 🦋Podcast Audio:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-b-e-i-n-g-podcast/id1640089477https://open.spotify.com/episode/4cGuZV01IazcRALv9Hljmu?si=_WeRBE2oS5OhqKQVz-gMcg YouTube:https://youtu.be/ie0M-ti6f4kConnect with me!!IG: https://instagram.com/jadahartfieldconsulting?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=FB: https://www.facebook.com/jlhartfield?mibextid=LQQJ4dLinkedIn: http://linkedin.com/in/jada-hartfieldBook a free call: https://calendly.com/jhartfieldmia/60min--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jada-hartfield/support
If you have been listening, or watching, so far this season you know that I am challenging us all to get after a few things. 1. Getting to the core of who you are or wish to be. 2. Finding your voice and means to communicate, to yourself and others. 3. Taking action, small steps lead to big change and realizing your dreams and goals.Well this week I get into another building block…doing things for yourself and NOT feeling guilty. This can be anything from hiring help, to building your village, to doing something JUST for yourself!Last weekend I was able to realize a few dreams and goals, including seeing Janet, Miss Jackson if you’re nasty, in concert! So grab a drink and join me as I share my personal experiences and aim to motivate you to create and execute your own!!Lady, yes you! I have talked about peace a lot, mainly because as I get older I crave more of it. It is becoming a necessary part of my life, as it directs my actions, my reactions, the flow of my day, and is part of my mental and emotional foundational blocks. To be honest I set my weekly intentions typically on Sunday’s, because that is the day I set as the start of my week. If all is going well, I start the week refilling my soul, refueling my body, and resetting my mind. It’s in this third part where I focus on setting my intentions for the week.By interweaving peace into each area it allows for me to reach my daily goals from a pro-active space versus flying by the seat of my pants ❤️In this episode I address this important topic and also bring in its BFF…boundaries!! Boundaries made, communicated, and enforced will lead to the peace you desire. So ladies, let’s get after it!! So many people, especially women, are often times overly concerned about what others think, fear, and want that we often don’t live out our own desires. As we continue to explore who we truly are at our core, we are now discussing what it means to truly live out loud!To live in our truths, being authentic to ourselves, we are capable of doing more and accomplishing the goals, dreams and even wishes we have. In this episode, Louisa Valentin and I have an open conversation about what it means to Live Out Loud and that starts with our mindset. As they say, the body will go where the mind tells it. So starting here allows for us to do All we dare to try. Remaining physically, emotionally, and spiritually strong further improves the upward trajectory we are aiming to achieve. In this episode I take a look at and talk about how to deal with adversity. Noting that I, like all of us, are not immune to having adverse actions happen to us. I have tried my whole to live in an upstanding way, with my intentions always being that of integrity, empowerment, and encouragement. That doesn't mean that others receive that in the manner I meant them. As I learn how to better work through situations I am not prepared for, I am learning how to give myself the time to "feel" the "feels", think of my desired end-state, and then work towards that. I am a firm believer that if God brings me to it, He will bring me through it. So if you are faced with anything causing you hurt, pain, discomfort, or any negative feelings, please know you aren't alone! Thanks for listening, for your support, and for taking care of YOU!Jada 🦋--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jada-hartfield/support
S2, E8: What you need and Why!This episode is for my momma’s, mom-prenuers, and any woman that is busy doing ALL the things for everyone but themselves. This week I take a look at a few things that I have found to be needed in order for me to thrive and ensure my many responsibilities are successfully completed. While we are all different, I KNOW that we are the same in being the ONE that everyone turns to in order for their success. This can be a spouse, child, employer, employee, friends, and the list goes on and on. But lady…YES YOU!Are you turning inward and checking on what you need? Are you making time, because let’s be honest that’s what it takes to have time we have to make it. Are you eating well, drinking the water, moving your body, and doing anything that makes you happy? It’s time to make that time and to check in! Then together let’s get after making it all happen. As we continue to really look into the core of our B.E.I.N.G.; determining our hopes, dreams and aspirations; and giving ourselves permission to go after them…this week I challenge you to believe that the time is NOW to take action. Whether it is fear, lack of finances, or lack of support we tend to find a “reason” to not move forward in creating the life we want, need and deserve. Well I am here to tell you that the time truly is now to start making the moves, to start taking the steps to realize all you are purposed and called to be. If you are like me, it is easier to use the current situations as a means to remain still…but if you are also like me, you are not comfortable nor content to remain in this space. So let’s support, encourage, inspire, and motivate each other as we work towards achieving our goals. Hey lady, yes you! I have a few questions for you, if you’re game? Are you truly living in your truth? In your purpose and/or calling? Have you determined who you truly desire to be or what your passions are? Are you living out any of the dreams the younger version of yourself had? Better yet do you remember them?If you answered no to any, or all, of these perhaps the ultimate question is, “Who, or what, are you waiting on for permission?”I get it, life happens. We grow up, start our careers, get married and start our families, and can’t say NO to anyone…yet when it comes to living in our purpose we seem to stall as though we need permission to address ourselves, our wants, desires and needs. Well sis, it’s time to for us to 1. Forgive ourselves, 2. Give ourselves permission and validation we need, and 3. Get on with it because people need us…and yes we need ourselves!I challenge you to do something TODAY for you, that you give yourself the permission to do without the side dish of guilt. If you’re anything like me, there is a level of “comfort” or “security” attempting to get the buy-in and validation of those around us; but Warrior Woman we are phenomenal! In this episode I dive into getting to the answer(s) of who we truly are at our core. Yes it is wonderful to have acquired the titles we have dreamt about: wife, mother, entrepreneur…and on and on. However; as we continue down this road of “wife-ing, mom-ing, and work-ing” have we lost sight of who we are? Have we put the younger versions of ourselves in a corner to sit and color meanwhile forgetting about her and the dreams she had? I say it’s time to challenge ourselves…forgiving ourselves if needed and then get to BE-ING who we have been called and chosen to be. So lady…yes you…who are YOU? I will admit to being “that” girl who dreamt about growing up, reaching both personal educational and professional goals, and YES being married 💍. I had great role models of what marriage looked like in my parents and my maternal grandparents, so it was definitely a goal I had to attain. It’s funny how society, media, and even our family and friends can influence us to think we should be married by the ripe old age of 30 and soon after the kids should be arriving. While my path didn’t go completely like that, I have been blessed to have my husband of two days shy of 10 years as of today 🥰, and three amazing babies from our union have come along! I will admit this is my favorite episode of this season because the love of my life joined me in the hopes inspiring those who will listen. While there are some who believe that Balance doesn’t exist, I think that there are ways that we are able to create routines and systems that can lead to feeling in balance. It is true that we can’t be in more than once place at a time, but we are able to be fully present where we are, if we are able and willing to create and lean on our villages of support. Forgiving and releasing ourselves from the guilt we feel will also allow for balance to created. Effective Communication is vital in the achievement of the plans and goals one has. Efficient Communication is definitely an art form, a skill set, that some may or may not possess. So why is it so hard for us to exercise effective and efficient communication? Let’s get into it…take a listen to this weeks episode and let me know any takeaways you have. Also let me know how YOU communicate with those you interact with!--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/jada-hartfield/messageSupport this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jada-hartfield/support
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! My sincere hope is that regardless of what you are facing during this time, you are able to find at least one thing to be grateful for. We never know what may come our way and when, but we are capable of deciding how we receive, accept, and react to them. In a time when there seems to be more “bad” than good, more “wrong” than right, I am here to remind myself and you, that we are still here! That there are opportunities and chances to make the intentional decisions to see the best. What are YOU grateful for?!

If you are anything like me I have become who I am due to influences of others; my parents, family, friends, society…so on and so forth. However; at the ripe age of 41, I am coming into the alignment of my true Purpose and Passion. I am understanding more and more who I really have been called to be. I also understand that in finding who I am, she has to be nurtured through self-love and self-care, without guilt in doing it. So what about you? Who do you say you are? That’s what I have dove into this week, with a few challenges if you are up for them? Take a listen and let me know!

This episode is for my amazing momma bears out there who are the glue and the drummers that hold everything together and ensures everyone they impact have all they need. As a working momma to three incredible little humans I completely understand how it is easy to lose sight of who I am from time to time, because I tend to put my “responsibilities” before my self needs. However, I have also come to understand that I cannot pour from an empty cup. We must understand that there are different ways in which we can accomplish what is needed while not burning out AND without the guilt! So Warrior Woman, please be encouraged that YOU matter! That you too are deserving of being “taken care of”. But the first step is acknowledging and receiving it. So let’s start that today!

TRIGGER WARNING The topic today is about the loss of loved ones and handing the grieving process.
“You don’t know what you don’t know!”
I truly believe that statement. Loss and Grief definitely fit into this category…until you have experienced it, you truly can’t grasp it. We all have our processes, but I implore you to keep moving forward even one little step everyday. Lean on those who love and support you! Please know that if you are in this club of having lost someone, you are NOT alone. I recently lost both of my parents (33 days apart), which has challenged me in a number of ways, but has also allowed me opportunities to grow. Please give yourself grace, love on those still here a little tighter, and if you’re like me I challenge you to live out their legacies 🦋

This week I dive into the importance of the support we all need and challenge you to build your own village TODAY, if you don’t already have one. Let’s go!!

This week I open the discussion of how we, as women. have been taught and condition to don our supergirl capes to pour into everyone and everything else. That’s all good…but sis don’t forget to REFILL and REFUEL yourself! It’s not only ok, but necessary that you are at the top of the priority list because you can’t pour from an empty cup.
