Football season is on people's minds months in advance from the actual kickoff. The preparation process is something to not take lightly. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail. This quote can apply to many things in life, and football certainly fit the bill. Take a moment to join Von Lassiter, head coach of the Bleckley County Royals, and myself as we talk about his background and what the Royals are bringing to the table this season.
After ending last season with an overall 1-9 record, the Dodge County Indians high school football team left much to be desired in terms of their performance. Summer workouts have now commenced, and I got the opportunity to sit down with Phillip Brown, the new head coach of the Indians. Macy Watkins was exactly the type of person to have on the show to close out the first month of 2024. My goal this year is to bring in some great new faces, and Macy did not disappoint. A true people person. Her love and passion for her craft, work ethic, and the way she represents women in the outdoors industry is out of this world. The conversation was a lengthy yet very fun one.
