Welcome back to the Into The Waves podcast! This week's episode kicks off the first of the three additional episodes we've prepared for the end of the year as we continue to dive into some additional topics exploring the life of Jesus' twelve disciples. On this episode we're diving into some of the reasons why Jesus called and chose twelve disciples specifically to teach and serve alongside him as he carried out his mission. Now we're not talking about Dwayne Johnson here, but we are talking about a man who's life and story stands out notably amongst the followers of Jesus, Simon Peter. This episode was recorded back earlier this year in January, but join us as we dive into the story of a fisherman turned evangelist and one of Jesus' closest disciples who was foundational in the formation of the early church.
