Tonya Crowe is an American actress best known for playing Olivia Cunningham, the daughter of Abby Cunningham (played by Donna Mills), on the long-running prime-time soap opera Knots Landing. She appeared on the show from 1980–1990 and returned for the 1997 reunion miniseries. Crowe also appeared in projects such as Dark Night of the Scarecrow, Who's the Boss?, CHiPs, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Knots Landing is an American primetime television soap opera that aired on CBS from December 27, 1979, to May 13, 1993. A spin-off of Dallas, it was set in a fictitious coastal suburb of Los Angeles and initially centered on the lives of four married couples living on a cul-de-sac, Seaview Circle. Throughout its fourteen-year run, storylines included marital strife, rape, murder, kidnapping, assassinations, drug smuggling, politics, environmental issues, corporate intrigue, and criminal investigations. By the time of its conclusion, it had become the third-longest-running primetime drama on U.S. television after Gunsmoke and Bonanza and the last scripted primetime drama show that debuted in the 1970s to leave the air.

He was 84.Jacobs, who battled Alzheimer’s for several years, died Sunday at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. His son Aaron confirmed to Variety the news of his death.Jacobs created the original soap opera “Dallas,” which aired for 14 seasons from 1978 to 1991, and its reboot series of the same name that aired between 2012 and 2014. He was also the creator of the “Dallas” spinoff series “Knots Landing,” which debuted in 1979 and ran for 14 seasons until 1993.
