Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris operated in southern California in the 1970s (just about when every serial killer did). To this day a tape of one of their victims is used in the FBI training academy to prepare future agents for the worst of the worst in our society. They say opposites attract and boy did they in these two, they were besties (they even had friendship bracelets, jk I made that up but they did make jewelry together in prison so same shit). Matthew Hoffman, also known as the "leaf killer" murdered three people in Ohio and kidnapped a 13-year-old girl, and held her in his horror home for 4 days. When investigating Matthew's home police are absolutely flabbergasted at what they find...please keep your hands, arms, legs, and ears inside the ride at all times because boy is it going to be a wild one. Meg's back with another disappearance (murder). This week we're covering the unsolved case of Dorthy Scott. Dorthy was a bad b*** living right outside of Anaheim, CA in the 70's/80's. She was beautiful, sweet, hardworking (2 jobs, get it girl), a single mother, and independent asf. Not as dull as a phone book (like some of her "friends" claimed). She was tormented and stalked by a man who eventually abducted and killed her. Nobody knows the exact details of what happened to Dorthy; this case is deeply unsettling, so strap in.

This week Meg dives into the disappearance (murder) of Carly "Charli" Scott. Featured on Investigation Discovery's show "Disappeared", Charli assisted her ex-boyfriend with his broken-down truck. After the truck was fixed Charli drove off to never be seen again. Charli's body has never been found, only partial remains. Her ex-boyfriend maintains his innocence and some even seem to think there may have been an accident, but all evidence seems to point in other directions...
