Being overwhelmed can become a habit and once it becomes a habit, it takes effort to reprogram your brain. Transformation starts with the smallest change that you consistently do day in and day out. Look at what benefit you are receiving for being in overwhelm. Consider what you value more - being in overwhelm (the cost and benefit associated with it) or what you are seeking now (the cost of detaching from overwhelm and the benefit). Decide what you want.

Have you ever considered writing a book? It was a dream of mine and one I didn't think possible. I had all the reasons why it would never work out, and yet, I dreamed of it. The fact was, I didn't believe in myself. I allowed fear and stories to keep me stuck. So I know better than most what it takes to overcome obstacles to reach for your dreams. I wanted to share this story because, as an adult, I had forgotten my childhood desire to be an author. I only remembered my college experience of wanting to be an author. Our brains distort, generalize and filter out information. So our perceptions are skewed by our own mechanisms. You see what you want to see.

I thought humbleness and meekness were sooooo important. I was a good girl, after all, living in my Christain faith. It turns out that being humble and meek is overrated and led to living a daily wakeful nightmare where I had no voice, no boundaries, and no peace. It was a subdued life with a little self-love, self-worth, and self-dignity.

Being an Aaron Burr means walking in the world cautiously, staying below the radar, letting others have their way without a fight. This can be comfortable and easy, but its rewards tend to be short-lived. On the other hand, there’s Alexander Hamilton – brave, determined, and willing to take risks to reach his goals. While this is often uncomfortable and uncertain, standing up for what he believes in has made him into a legend. Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide which path is right for you. Will you stay safely within your comfort zone? Or will you set out on a new journey of discovery? The choice is yours – but only one answer leads to true fulfillment. In today's society, it's easy to get caught up in what other people think. We often look to others for approval and validation, seeking their opinion on everything from what we should wear to what we should believe. It can be a dangerous habit.
So how do we make sense of it all? The answer is simple: we need to learn to be our own authority. We need to learn to trust ourselves, our intuition, and our own experiences. We need to connect with our own inner wisdom and use that as our guide. When we do that, everything else falls into place. We become clear about what we want and what we need to do to create the life we desire.
Authority is all around, but you are yet to discover is that authority is already with you.

Magic is by definition something that defies the laws of nature. Some Scientists say that magic does not exist and if it did, they would be using it. BUT, what if they already are? Many fear what they cannot control (even though control is an illusion - just saying) and therefore dismiss the possibility of magic. Yet you put a label on it and research it, and it suddenly becomes no longer magic! Quantum Physics is an example of this. Quantum Physics is the study of energy - something so intangible and immaterial while being one of the most powerful forces.
Most things in life come down to perception. I am someone who believes in magic and chooses to believe that we are all magical.

Does it surprise you that people who are empathic attract people with low empathy? The Law of Attraction says that like attracts like so why aren't empaths attracting more empaths into their lives? You can call this the law of polarity; the Yin and the Yang or the balance in life. But, it is also the law of attraction because you are attracting people that will confirm your story story, your identity.
This episode discusses how both the empath and the toxic person are BOTH controlling at the same time but in vastly different ways. My guess is that you didn't realize that the empath was controlling. We live in a society that makes the toxic person the villain and the empathy the saint. But I want to teach you about taking responsibility and seeing this from a bigger perspective. I prefer to get distant from the right and wrong with judging other people and their actions and get into what is right for you.
When journaling today, I discovered new thoughts about the Tree of Knowledge and I decided to share them with you. Having hope isn't a bad thing. To have a feeling of expectation of something you want to have happen, which is the definition of hope, is great. We are meant to feel all feelings and therefore, we are meant to feel the feeling of hope. The problem with hope is it is not a solution, it is a feeling. Feelings are powerful but what is your state when you feel hope? Does it empower you or do you feel helpless just wishing things would work out? Hope is not an action either. Although people treat hope like it is an action. Far too often people use hope as an answer, THE ANSWER and as something outside of themselves that they rely on. This episodes is about boundaries. No surprise there since it is titled that way but have you ever considered who pays the price (price as in energy, emotion, times, etc) for not following boundaries? In this episode, I talk about what boundaries are, a different way to look at them, what it cost you to ignore or implement them, and why boundaries are an act of self love.

Have you ever considered that your body is a home to your thoughts? Every thought you have creates a cellular response to some degree and our central nervous system responds. This episodes talks about the effects of our thoughts have on our bodies and what you can do about it.
In this episode, I give 3 different examples of times where I've used medicine and when I haven't. In a society where medicine is the go to, we often forget that our bodies are amazing healing machines when we allow it. Naturally, medicine has its place and services it's purpose but, it's not the only way.
I finally looked up the definition of berate and it means to scold or criticize angrily. I was taught this behavior and I used this behavior to succeed in life until the life was sucked out of me. Yeah, let me tell you.....it is not necessary. It's just a learned behavior that brings you down. So let's talk about it.
Who hasn't participated in people pleasing? But have you ever looked at why you people please and what your reward is for doing that behavior? One thing I have witness in my own life in regards to people pleasing is there is a short term fleeting happy moment followed by my light dimming, which is a long term consequence. It can be confusing to understand what our intuition is and then there is aspect of looking for signs. In this episode, I discuss what intuition is like for me and signs around animals as a way that the universe speaks to me.

If you were like me one year ago, I didn't understand how I was supposed to show myself self love. I had just started going to a life coach and the life coach wanted me to increase my self love. However, I thought I was showing myself love but after a year of inner/self work, I discovered what self love means to me. I am giving you a demonstration as a tool that you can apply to yourself. YOU MATTER!
As I learn more about myself, I have discovered that I jump to conclusions. Jumping to conclusions is considered "twisted thinking" according to David D. Burns, MD, author of 10 Days to Self-Esteem and The Feeling Good Handbook. I share how I have jumped to conclusions and how this type of thinking isn't aligned with the person I want to be. I give you some of my tips to work through the behaviors that result from this thinking.
Being humble is a good thing right? Everyone says "be humble." You are supposed to be humble to avoid "big ego" and pride but for me, I took it to an extreme. I took that "self-less" behavior to the point that I was suffering.
