Coffee has always been a liason to deeper and more meaingful conversations. The act of asking someone to go for a coffee sets a tone of discussion, understanding and learning. Relationships are started or ended, ideas between two people become business ventures. It's a podcast of deep conversations we should be having with a big focus on mental health, growth, and everything in between.
WELCOME BACK, EVERYONE. Settle in for a reunion of two friends chatting about first impressions and some of the.. interesting ones we have been a part of. Also, ISO guests? Who wants to come on our show, send us a DM @CCpodcast_
Are you a "realist"? Or are you just scared of the unknown? Marisa and Sabrina open about fears- How they hinder and help us grow, all in the same whirlwind of emotions.
From hypochondria to fear based energy (fight or flight). Grab a coffee and join us, for this episode is relatable to all.
I (Sabrina) still hate haunted houses, always will.
This week, we talk about our love languages and what they mean to us, and how they affect our relationships. We learn that Sabrina is really into them and loves asking people what their language is on a first date.
On today's Podcast, Marisa got ghosted again !(boo) we stumble through our giggles in an attempt to talk about our career changes and where we are today! This episode was only slightly a mess with the lack of sleep we have both been enduring.
This week, we get into the nitty-gritty of sex. Is there a "right" time to get physical when dating? Is the first date too early? What if it's boring?! All of this, and much more than we probably should be telling the world. Including a PSA to men who want to explore @nal with their significant female friend. IT'S A ONE WAY STREET! PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
This week, Sabrina and I (Marisa) discuss different forms of projecting! We also find out that Marisa, is a little wilder than expected and will probably be single forever LOL. Listen in to catch all the details!
This week, we talk about COFFEE! How did we develop our addiction? What memories do we have in relation to coffee? Why is it so significant in our lives? Be sure to listen to find out!
Marisa being African/Portuguese, and Sabrina Indigenous/Polish. We Talk about the struggles growing up, and not feeling "enough" of either ethnicity to embrace either side without feeling like we're crossing some sort of unwritten boundary. Witnessing racism towards our African and Indigenous sides made us scared to show ourselves fully but now we're open and ready to move forward and embrace ourselves as a whole.
In lieu of love day, we spoke about romanticizing your life, other people, and celebrities (why we probably shouldn't romanticize J-lo & Ben🤷🏻♀️) - and what this all means. While it is time to start romanticizing our lives and being the main character - sometimes we need to take a step back, face reality, and acknowledge our current accomplishments before dreaming up the future.
Burnt out, and ready for a change. The universe somehow brought us together to say "F*ck it", quit our dead end jobs, and take year long adventure traveling abroad. Mind you, Marisa and I (Sabrina) knew little to nothing about each other. Except the fact that Marisa was my ex boyfriend's sister. Should be interesting right? Yes. First Stop! Beijing, China.
Today we talk about acknowledging self-doubt, how it has affected our lives, and where it stems from (ie. Personal triggering moments). We look into our past, how far we have come, and what steps we have taken (or lack of steps for some of us) to get past self-doubt and move towards growth and becoming better versions of ourselves. So please, join us for a coffee ☕
Dating in general is hard. Now let's season it with a pandemic. Am I right? Today we get on the topics of dating for potential, Ghosting (BOO) and a new one but ever so relevant, "The Haunting". With that, we also have taken time to self reflect and gain self-awareness of how we now approach dating. Don't forget to hit the follow button and join in on our interactive podcast questions. Thanks for listening.
