Being wide awake means that we’ve entered a state of full consciousness. Before Christ, we were asleep, not fully aware of the situation or our surroundings. We didn’t know of the battle and who it was that we were battling. The hope we have now is that when we choose to partner with Christ and die to our flesh, to our old way of life, we became alive and awake to new life in Him. We can then ask Him to show us how He sees our neighbor or boss or family.
A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. Love is the best way, the most excellent fruit, and the greatest commandment.
Love should be the motivation behind everything we do. As we cultivate a relationship with the Holy Spirit, He will give us the best gifts!
We are talking about power today and as we see in this verse(Lk 24:49), this is part of the promise from the Father.
Since we are sealed by the person of the Holy Spirit, we receive His power to do His work and will on the earth.

"Build Your Kingdom Here."
Main Point: If you aren’t willing to let Jesus build His kingdom in you, how can you be used to build it in others?
Who takes first place in your life, your finances, your job, etc?
Blessing comes when we SEEK Jesus and FOLLOW Him as He takes first place in every area.
Writing is a big deal to God. He wants to guide and instruct as many that will listen away from destruction. He is long-suffering, willing that none would perish; sadly we don’t all listen.. (2 Peter 3:9)
It's important to record the words of Jesus, so that you can be a faithful witness of His gospel to the world.
In order to go with the flow of the Holy Spirit, we must recognize and say no to the other things guiding us.
In order to have a clear PICTURE, we must remove anything that blocks the full view of Jesus before us!
Sometimes, in order to “turn up the volume” you need to consider the noise in you and around you. Are you prepared to listen?
Just like when galaxies collide into each other and become one, have you experienced the type of love that overwhelms everything else in your life?
