The United States Criminal Justice System has been criticized for taking advantage of vulnerable people, such as those who are low-income, mentally ill, or people of color. One way in which the system does this is by using plea deals to coerce individuals into pleading guilty.
Plea deals are often presented as a way for defendants to avoid harsher penalties or lengthy trials. However, in many cases, they are used to pressure individuals into accepting a plea bargain even if they are innocent. This is because the system is set up in a way that makes it difficult and expensive for defendants to fight the charges against them, and the consequences of losing a trial can be devastating.
Another way in which the criminal justice system takes advantage of vulnerable people is by subjecting them to harsher treatment and punishments. Certain individuals are disproportionately targeted by police and prosecutors, and they are more likely to be arrested and convicted for crimes they did not commit.
In addition, individuals with mental illnesses or disabilities are often not given the support and accommodations they need to navigate the criminal justice system. This can result in unfair convictions and harsh punishments not to mention ripping apart family foundations, leaving many children to grow up fatherless.

But last Saturday night they gathered in downtown Toronto and after getting into one altercation wound up surrounding and fatally stabbing a man in an apparent attack over a bottle of liquor. In 2017, Tencent Holdings bought a 5 percent stake in Tesla for $1.78 billion, which is currently worth about $15 billion. This was a strategic partnership because the company became not just an investor, but Tesla's advisor.
Tencent owns the Chinese social all in one app Wechat, that is completely controlled by the CCP.
