This past year, the FTC issued their staff report on dark patterns (“Bringing Dark Patterns to Light”) and also brought a number of cases involving dark patterns: Credit Karma, Epic Games (Fortnite), and Vonage, to name a few.

This week I sat down with our Senior Director of Client Success here at PerformLine, Rhonda McGill, to discuss the state of mortgage marketing compliance. Last week we hosted a quarterly roundtable with compliance leaders in this space and today Rhonda and I discuss some key take aways from that event.
