Parish Walk is an ongoing audio journal/field recording that invites listeners to accompany Rev. Christopher James+ on unscripted, prayerful peregrination through, around, and adjacent to his own neighborhood parish, a quirky, historic shipbuilder’s village in Southeastern Virginia. These walks will often conclude with follow-up, quieter moments at the prie-dieu (kneeler) as an invitation to sit and rest with Chris for further stories, questions, reflection, prayer, meditation (and awkward silence) along the way.
Recorded over Earth Day weekend, this peregrination follows Rev. Christopher James+ into his own backyard to meditate on the implications of tending to and "owning" a patch of ground. Rev. Chris also manages to save a pair of Nuthatch fledglings!
