Today, I’ll be opening up about a significant realization - my struggle with trusting God and my husband. Stick around to hear how this realization changed everything.
Back in 2018, I was leading a prayer group for wives. Just before the group started, something seemed off in my husband's behavior, not necessarily a big issue, but it didn't match our usual marriage dynamic.
When I confronted him, things got tense. Instead of my usual reactions, I saw it as a test - a pivotal moment to respond differently.
Here are the steps that helped rebuild trust:
- Letting Go of Pride: I had to realize that wanting my husband’s faith to mirror mine was about my ego.
- Letting God Work: Understanding that God is the one who can fix things, not me, made a huge difference.
- Support and Encouragement: I started affirming my husband using Bible verses and asking how I could pray for him.
- Prayer and Belief: Trusting that God listens to prayers, writing them down, and seeing them answered was incredible.
- Sharing My Story: Talking about this journey with another wife was incredibly encouraging.
In closing, I encourage you to put your complete trust in God. Let Him guide your life and marriage. I hope this journey inspires and transforms your faith in God and your relationship with your spouse.
