Tacoma Pierce County Coalition to End Homelessness

The https://pchomeless.org/ (Tacoma Pierce County Coalition to End Homelessness) meets weekly to learn about local resources, network with colleagues, develop better ways to serve people experiencing homelessness, and hear ways we can advocate for more resources in the community. This podcast is a recording of our weekly meeting. Meetings usually follow a theme, are actively moderated, usually featuring a set of short presentations with a question and answer session.

The City of Tacoma discussed proposed changes to the Rental Housing Code. Neighborhood and Community Services provided an overview of their homeless plan. The Purple Bag project gave an update on their pilot project and next steps. We discussed a couple grant opportunities, one for vaccine education and one for the speaker's bureau.
