How do you suffer well when the pain never seems to end. That is the question I sat with in this conversation with Chantal Howard, founder of a Catholic finishing school for young women and author of Show Me Your Scars, a book built on Fulton Sheen's theology of suffering. Chantal has spent years forming young women in identity and character, and she has walked through her own deep seasons of suffering too, from a hard chapter with her daughter to twenty four years of a marriage she calls both painful and victorious. We talk about what Fulton Sheen taught her about turning wounds into scars, why suffering might be the very thing that opens our hearts to love others well, and how I found my own peace in the middle of a health scare that changed how I see everything. If you have ever wondered whether your suffering has a purpose, I think this conversation will meet you right where you are. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments, and if this one speaks to you, please subscribe and share it with someone who needs it today.
Chantal is a mother of seven, an entrepreneur, and the founder of a Catholic finishing school that helps young women between the ages of fourteen and nineteen discover who they are through the lens of their faith. Her husband Peter has spent more than twenty years championing the life and legacy of Fulton Sheen, and that work is reaching a beautiful milestone with his upcoming beatification. Chantal's new book, released as a tandem series, Show Me Your Scars and The Fellowship of the Scars, gathers twenty testimonies from people who have walked through real suffering, including her own, and found that suffering and grace are not opposites but companions.
In this conversation we get into the purpose of suffering from a Catholic perspective, and why Fulton Sheen believed that suffering, offered well, becomes our way to happiness rather than something to simply survive. Chantal shares how her own marriage, now twenty four years in, has been both one of her greatest sources of pain and one of her proudest testimonies of grace, and how she and her husband learned to see their hardest seasons as scars rather than open wounds. We also talk about a devastating loss her family walked through when her daughter was pregnant, and how they found their footing again through prayer and community.
I share my own story of receiving a frightening health prognosis and how watching my son's love for me in that moment changed the way I saw my whole life. Chantal and I talk honestly about finding peace in pain, about what it looks like to build a genuine prayer life in the middle of busyness and distraction, and about raising daughters who know their worth in a culture that constantly tells them otherwise. We also touch on her Catholic finishing school, her work forming women of all ages through a related program, and the upcoming beatification conference where survivors and witnesses of Fulton Sheen's influence will gather to share how his teaching helped them heal through suffering. If you are in a season where the suffering does not seem to be ending, I hope this conversation reminds you that you are not alone in it, and that there is real purpose waiting on the other side.

Healing chronic pain felt impossible for my guest today, but she found a way to completely rewire her own brain and body to get her life back. In this episode I sit down with Ashleigh Di Lello, founder of the Bio Emotional Healing method, a neuroscience based approach that has helped people around the world break free from chronic pain, trauma, anxiety, and limiting beliefs. Ashleigh was told by doctors as a teenager that she would never dance again, and years later a failed hip surgery left her in relentless nerve pain that doctors said would only get worse. She shares how she spent six years dancing only in her mind before returning to the stage stronger than ever, and how it took nine years to fully heal after chronic pain took over her life. We talk about faith, resilience, and what it actually takes to trust your body again once it feels like it has betrayed you. If this conversation speaks to you, leave a comment, subscribe for more conversations like this one, and share it with someone who needs to hear there is hope.
Ashleigh's story is one of the most remarkable I have had the honor to sit with. At thirteen years old she was diagnosed with a rare illness that doctors could not identify, and she was told plainly that she would not live past her teenage years, that she would never dance again, never marry, and never have children. She refused to accept that verdict. What followed was four years of fighting for her life, and eventually a full recovery that let her return to competitive ballroom dance after six years away, a comeback so strong it made no sense to the doctors who had written her off. She went on to become an elite athlete, a television and Broadway performer, and she built a beautiful family, all things she had once been told were impossible for her.
Then at thirty three, at what she describes as the height of her career, a failed hip surgery sent her body into chronic nerve pain that lasted for years. This is where our conversation goes deepest, into what chronic pain recovery actually requires when the body itself feels like it can no longer be trusted. Ashleigh walks through how she came to understand the brain body connection well enough to build her own path back to health, teaching the nervous system to release old patterns of fear and defense rather than staying locked in them. We talk about the writing practice she developed to help release stored trauma from the body, the neuroscience behind gratitude and self forgiveness, and why healing trauma in the body is not just a mental exercise but a physical and spiritual one.
What I loved most about this conversation is how naturally the science and the faith fit together for Ashleigh. She does not separate rewiring the nervous system from trusting God with the outcome. She talks openly about the night she wanted to give up, and what kept her going instead. If you or someone you love is walking through overcoming chronic illness, or simply feels stuck in a body or a season that feels hopeless, I believe this conversation will meet you exactly where you are and remind you that healing, however long it takes, is still possible.

What does it take for a man once called an enemy of the state to say he felt the Holy Spirit move through him. In this episode I sit down with Tommy Robinson, founder of the English Defence League and one of the most controversial and misunderstood men in Britain, for a conversation that goes far beyond politics. Tommy opens up about growing up in Luton, the moment he first spoke out against grooming gangs as a young man, the prison sentences that followed, and the surprising spiritual awakening that has reshaped how he sees his own life and his country. We talk about the Christ is King moment that swept through a crowd of one hundred thousand people, a prayer from strangers in Israel that left him in tears, and what he believes it will take for Britain to find its identity and its faith again. This is a raw and honest look at redemption, purpose, and the fight for a nation, and I think it will surprise you no matter where you stand. What if the shame and fear you feel around money has nothing to do with math? In this episode, I sit down with Lori Atwood, founder and CEO of Fearless Finance and certified financial planner with over 25 years of experience in investment banking, asset management, and private equity, to talk about why personal finance is 90% emotional and only 10% mathematical, and what that means for anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed, frozen, or ashamed when it comes to their money. Lori built Fearless Finance to offer something rare in the financial world: fiduciary, hourly financial planning with no sales, no minimums, and no judgment, making expert guidance accessible to people at every stage of life, from your 20s through retirement. We talk about how avoidance is the single worst thing you can do for your finances, how to take that first honest look at your numbers without spiraling, what it really means for a financial advisor to be a fiduciary and why it matters, the emotional baggage so many of us carry around money and where it comes from, and how financial clarity can actually open the door to a more meaningful and intentional life. What if the hidden wounds in your family are the reason you keep repeating the same patterns in relationships, parenting, and life? In this episode, I sit down with John Acosta, military veteran, father, business leader, and host of the ZuluOne Podcast, to explore the profound and often unseen world of family constellations therapy and generational trauma healing. John shares how a single workshop in the Carpathian Mountains of Romania completely shattered his understanding of reality and set him on a path of facilitating deep healing for families across the country. We talk about the hidden dynamics passed down through generations, why our unresolved wounds show up in our children, how judgment keeps us entangled with the very people who hurt us, the connection between broken family systems and the cultural chaos we are living through today, and why healing yourself is ultimately the only thing you can control. If you have ever wondered why certain patterns in your family just refuse to change, this conversation will open your eyes. What is Gen Z really going through, and what can their experience teach the rest of us about faith, technology, and the search for meaning? In this episode, I sit down in person with Mary Morgan, a Gen Z cultural commentator and host of Pop Culture Crisis, for one of the most wide-ranging and honest conversations I have had on this podcast. Mary and I cover a lot of ground together, from the very real dangers of AI companionship and the way social media algorithms are designed to exploit insecurity, to the surprising backlash she received for simply suggesting that some young women might be called to religious life. We also dig into the birth control conversation that keeps getting shut down, why getting married and starting a family has become a countercultural act for her generation, and what it means to grow up online without any map for how to live. Mary is sharp, disarming, and refreshingly willing to say what others won't, and I think you are going to love this conversation. What does it mean when Mary calls you, and what happens when people from every walk of faith begin to answer? In this episode I sit down with my dear friend Dr. Margarita Mooney Clayton, a theologian, author, and professor of practical theology at Princeton Theological Seminary and visiting research fellow at Oxford University, to talk about her upcoming book "When Mary Calls: Surprising Encounters with the Mother of God," a collection of true spiritual memoirs from people whose lives were transformed by an encounter with the Mother of God. We explore some of the most moving stories in the book, including a young Protestant woman who experienced three miscarriages and received a vision of Mary that literally saved her life, the hidden stained glass windows of Cuba that survived communist rule wrapped in tarps in someone's backyard, and the ways that sacred art, music, and embodied ritual are quietly drawing seekers back to a living faith. Margarita founded the Scala Foundation to restore culture through beauty, liberal arts education, and worship, and her work sits at the crossroads of everything I believe matters most right now in our world. I have been on my own journey toward Mary for most of my life, and this conversation brought so much of that into focus for me. If you have ever felt something was missing in your faith, or wondered why Mary seems to be calling to people across traditions, I think this episode will speak to you. What happens when a woman escapes radical Islam, not in Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia, but in Canada, and then refuses to stay quiet about it? In this episode, I sit down with Yasmine Mohammed, a prominent human rights activist, bestselling author, podcast host, and co-founder of the Clarity Coalition, whose work sits at the intersection of Western values and radical Islam. Yasmine penned the critically acclaimed book Unveiled: How the West Empowers Radical Muslims, and her eponymous podcast has cemented her as one of the most vital voices in the ongoing dialogue on faith, culture, and human rights. She shares her harrowing personal story of growing up inside what she describes as the most powerful cult in the world, enduring abuse, forced veiling, and an honor-based threat on her own life from her mother. She opens up about how becoming a mother was the single catalyst that finally broke the cycle and set her free. We talk about why Western liberals turn a blind eye to the suffering of Muslim women and girls, how the term Islamophobia has been weaponized to silence survivors and critics alike, how October 7th woke people up to a threat that Yasmine has been warning about for years, and why the most radical act a woman in her position can do is simply refuse to stop talking. Are modern culture and technology quietly pulling us away from faith, family, and authentic community? In this episode of The Tammy Peterson Podcast, I sit down with bestselling Catholic author Emily Chapman to explore the deeper spiritual questions surrounding motherhood, infertility, hospitality, and the meaning of family life. Emily shares her journey through years of infertility, her reflections on adoption and IVF, and how her faith shaped her understanding of dignity, sacrifice, and surrender. We also discuss the loneliness epidemic in modern culture, why community and hospitality matter more than ever, and the cultural narratives that discourage young women from embracing motherhood and family life. Emily Chapman is a Catholic author, speaker, and mother of three whose work explores faith, scripture, family life, and the beauty of everyday domestic life through a sacramental worldview. Modern education has lost its sense of history, meaning, and moral orientation—and I believe that loss is shaping how our children see the world and themselves. In this episode, I sit down with Michael, a lifelong educator and the Founder and President of the Catholic Textbook Project, to explore why history must be taught as story rather than fragmented facts, and why faith, imagination, and truth are essential to real education. Drawing on his 35 years in Catholic education, his background in classical liberal arts, and his work as a former headmaster and educational leader, Michael explains how removing Christianity from the teaching of Western civilization distorts our understanding of culture, virtue, and human purpose. We discuss the dangers of modern social studies models, the importance of teaching children through flawed but redemptive historical figures, and how parents and educators can help restore wisdom, courage, and hope in the next generation. What happens when a 200 pound weight loss, a radical health transformation, and a renewed faith collide in one life changing journey? In this episode of the Tammy Peterson Podcast, I sit down with Bruce Langworthy to explore how removing sugar, simplifying his diet, and committing to disciplined daily habits helped restore his body, sharpen his mind, and deepen his spiritual clarity. Bruce shares his experience with chronic illness, inflammation, brain fog, and how a carnivore-based approach, combined with gratitude, prayer, and personal responsibility, reshaped not only his physical health but his entire outlook on life. As a longtime software professional, Bruce brings a thoughtful and grounded perspective to healing, discipline, and modern living. What happens when chronic illness, autoimmune disease, and medical misdiagnosis collide with a healthcare system that refuses to listen? In this episode, I sit down with Otto Rothmund, a 23-year-old entrepreneur who spent nine years being misdiagnosed while battling autoimmune encephalitis, Lyme-related complications, and debilitating panic and isolation, and we explore what it feels like to be told your suffering is psychosomatic when your life is falling apart. Otto shares how chronic pain, medical gaslighting, insurance barriers, and missed diagnoses shaped his childhood, education, relationships, and identity, as well as the turning points that finally helped him reclaim energy, hope, and direction through diet, mindset, and perseverance. His story offers insight into invisible illness, patient advocacy, and the emotional toll of long-term illness while reminding us why validation, compassion, and honest inquiry matter so deeply in healthcare. What does it really mean to pray for a miracle, and why do sincere prayers sometimes seem to go unanswered? In this episode, I sit down with Anthony DeStefano to explore faith, prayer, miracles, and the tension many Christians feel between trust in God and disappointment when outcomes don't unfold as hoped. We talk about how miracles are understood in Christian theology, why anxiety can quietly undermine faith, and how prayer often requires holding paradoxes at the same time—action and surrender, courage and fear, precision and openness to God's will. Anthony draws from decades of writing, teaching, and theological reflection to offer a grounded, compassionate framework for praying with honesty, peace, and perseverance, even in suffering. If you've ever struggled with unanswered prayer or wondered how faith works in real life, I invite you to listen, reflect, and share your thoughts in the comments—and don't forget to subscribe for more thoughtful conversations on faith, meaning, and the inner life.

What if we’ve been feeding cognitive decline—literally? In this episode, I explore the hidden connection between dementia, diet, and aging with Hal Kramer, a former US Air Force Special Operations pilot turned assisted living innovator. After careers in aviation and real estate, Hal entered the senior care world and discovered a disturbing pattern: elderly residents, often forgotten and overmedicated, were being fed processed food that accelerated their decline. So he did something radical—he changed their food and lifestyle instead of increasing medication. Together, we talk about the link between insulin resistance and Alzheimer’s, the healing power of resistance training, and how one man in a wheelchair walked out of Hal’s home after just seven months of clean eating and exercise. This conversation made me rethink how we treat the elderly, what healing really looks like, and how much more is possible—at any age. For the purposes of this podcast, the interviewee used the term 'Osteopath' to refer to the profession as a whole. It's important to note that 'Osteopath' is a trademarked title for American D.O.s, while in Canada, we are recognized as Osteopathic Manual Practitioners. Candice Nesrallah is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. Additionally, the term 'diagnose' falls outside the scope of practice for Canadian Osteopathic Manual Practitioners and was used here solely to describe findings in the context of this podcast.

Scott W. McMahon, MD, founder of Whole World Healthcare has been practicing pediatrics in Roswell, New Mexico, for 26 years. His interest in Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) began in 2009. Dr. McMahon first learned about CIRS after being approached by a businessman whose daughter became ill while attending a local school. The search for this child’s healing led him to Dr. Richie Shoemaker, the global expert on mold illnesses. McMahon visited Dr. Shoemaker’s practice to learn about the treatment for CIRS and saw the tremendous need for more physicians prepared to treat CIRS. He immediately opened a practice in Roswell specifically to diagnose and treat patients with CIRS, starting with 15 patients from the local school. His CIRS practice has now grown and he has seen thousands of adults and children to date.

Born in Kent, my podcast guest found his calling in music at the Brit School of Performing Arts, where he often collaborated with Adele. His path took an unusual turn away from the limelight to window cleaning, which brought unexpected contentment. However, a health crisis at 23 led to a diagnosis of ulcerative colitis and a subsequent life-saving surgery. Despite conventional methods, his mental health struggled until a chance encounter with a video by Mikhaila Peterson led him to the Carnivore Diet. This evidently led to the resolution of his depression, helping him regain control of his life.

Laura, a bestselling author, astute commentator, and talented photographer, is well known for her bold stance on dispelling societal taboos. Her latest Sunday Times bestseller, "Free Your Mind" (co-authored with Patrick Fagan), centers around the modern world of manipulation and emphasizes the importance of personal mental sovereignty. This was a follow-up to her successful book, " A State of Fear”, which scrutinized the UK government's use of fear during the Covid-19 pandemic. Laura’s initial artistic work had a similar essence, focusing on personal identities through interviews and photographs of over 300 women and men in her first three books: "Bare Reality", "Manhood: The Bare Reality", and "Womanhood: The Bare Reality". Today's podcast guest has dedicated her life to exploring the healing abilities of plants, a passion born from her experiences growing up in Scotland's wilderness where her father pursued a career as a medical herbalist. Her belief in nature's integral role in wellness is not considered an alternative approach to medicine, but rather, the essence of true healing. Currently, she operates a health clinic in England while her father, at 86 years, actively practices his art in Scotland.

Erin Pizzey, born in China with her twin sister Kate, settled in England after a childhood of frequent moves due to her diplomat father. In 1971, she opened the world’s first women’s refuge in Chiswick, London, and later established numerous shelters during the 1970s and 1980s. Erin became well-known for her court battles over overcrowded refuges and her appearances on top chat shows, earning a reputation as a crusader for the destitute. Her advocacy extended to squatting in properties to provide shelter. Erin brought domestic violence to public attention, compelling authorities to address the issue. She moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, in the 1980s after receiving death threats for highlighting female-perpetrated abuse, as detailed in her book "Prone to Violence." She returned to London in 1997 and advocated for male abuse victims, becoming a patron of ManKind Initiative and Families Need Fathers. In 2013, Erin joined the advisory board of A Voice for Men and appeared in the 2016 documentary "The Red Pill." In 2023, she was featured in "Erin: Beyond the Bruises." Erin authored several cult classics, including "Scream Quietly or the Neighbours Will Hear" and "This Way to the Revolution: A Memoir." She believes domestic abuse is generational and not gender-specific, advocating for multi-generational therapy to break the cycle of violence.

Born in 1991, Alex has been the leader of the Liberal Alliance since 2019. He took over a party on the verge of extinction and has since managed to turn the party into a pillar of the Danish center-right. This was achieved by a political reorientation from a globalist and hyper-individualist platform to a far more communitarian platform, emphasizing not merely the power of personal freedom but the meaningfulness of responsible citizenship – coupled with a reinvigorated and innovative style of political messaging that made him and the party into the youth favorite at the most recent election. Alex’ message was encapsulated in the words “Du kan godt” (“You can do it”), a very contentious claim in a welfare state such as Denmark.
Alex would like to bring attention to his own book, “Vejen til ansvar” (“The Road to Responsibility”) – even though it’s a bit inaccessible to the non-Danish speaking audience.

In today's episode, we're joined by Billboard Chris, a devoted father of two girls who has taken a bold stance against gender ideology. Drawing attention to a significant ruling by the High Court in England, he emphasizes that children are incapable of giving informed consent to these life-changing medications. Toronto native Judy Anderson, educated in public schools like Rosedale and Jarvis Collegiate, pursued a BA at Trinity College, U of T. With a 51-year teaching career, initially in grades 3-5 and later specializing in special education, she retired in 2007 but remains an occasional teacher. Judy observes a decline in academic and behavioral standards post-1990, attributing it to family breakdown and the disastrous ministry, faculties of education, and board policies. She criticizes the public education system for not upholding stated standards, pointing to the absence of a student Dress Code and issues with Health and Safety protocols. At 74, she plans to teach again, skeptical of the board's commitment to "tolerance, diversity, and inclusion," advocating for a return to authentic teaching and mastery of basic skills.

She founded the Alliance for Human Research Protection (AHRP), committed to preserving humanitarian values, ethical medical standards, and universal rights to informed consent. Medicine's current weaponization endangers our freedoms and human rights in the name of public health, with doctors complicit in crimes against humanity.
