WE AMERICANS have no idea of what it’s like to live under constant threat of missile attack, but that’s a fact of life for Israelis.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz, senior reporter for Israel365News.com, joins us via video from his home in Katzrin on the Golan Heights to discuss the current situation in Israel, the impact of recent conflicts, and the political dynamics at play.
Adam shares his insights on the future of Israel and its allies, emphasizing the prophetic significance of the events unfolding in the region, and describes the impact of being forced to live within 30 seconds of a bomb shelter.
We also discuss the ritual of the red heifer described in Numbers chapter 19 and how it’s been misunderstood by Christians. Yes, the red heifers are at Shiloh and they are of age, but there are other critical requirements that must be met before the ritual purification of the Temple Mount can be accomplished.
Our new book The Gates of Hell is now available in paperback, Kindle, and as an audiobook at Audible!
WE LIVE in prophetic times. The restoration of Israel in 1948 is evidence of that—but there are some who refuse to accept modern Israel as the fulfillment of God’s promises to the Hebrew prophets.
Ali Siadatan (ThinkAgainProductions.com) explores the prophetic significance of current events, particularly in relation to Israel and its role in biblical prophecy. We discuss the pushback from some evangelical Christians regarding Israel's legitimacy, the spiritual warfare surrounding Israel, and the historical context of its restoration. Our conversation also delves into the Jewish perspective on Jesus, the nature of spiritual blindness, and the implications of the New Covenant for Israel's future.
Ultimately, we discuss the importance of Jerusalem in prophecy and the role of Gentiles in God's plan, concluding with a call to protect Israel as a central part of God's narrative.
WHAT’S THE DEAL with Mount Hermon? Why has it been sacred to pagan religions for more than 4,000 years?
Joining us to discuss the “mountain of gods” (Ps. 68:15) is our Iron and Myth crew: Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, and Dr. Judd Burton (www.BurtonBeyond.net), director of The Institute of Biblical Anthropology and author of Interview with the Giant and The Nephilim Chronicles. Sadly, Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), best-selling author of Chronicles of the Nephilim, Chronicles of the Watchers, and the theological thriller Cruel Logic, was unable to join us this month.
We discuss the significance of Mount Hermon and its connections to ancient myths and symbolism. We also explore the esoteric ideas of David Flynn and the concept of the Great Year, a 25,920-year cycle that relates to the movement of the Earth's axis, and its possible connection to the Serpent Mound of Bashan and Gilgal Refaim, megalithic sites in the heart of ancient Bashan.
Our discussion also touches on the astronomical procession, the significance of the number 33, and the geographical legacy associated with Mount Hermon. The conversation highlights the biblical prophecies related to Mount Hermon and the ultimate destruction of chaos—Leviathan. It emphasizes the importance of understanding the sacred geography and symbolism surrounding Mount Hermon in interpreting biblical texts.
WHO BUILT the mysterious megalithic sites that defy what we think we know about our prehistoric ancestors—and why should we care?
Derek Olson (StargateVoyager.com) has made a life’s work of investigating megalithic sites around the world like Stonehenge and the Great Pyramid of Egypt, questioning how these massive stones were moved and shaped with primitive tools.
Olson highlights the recent discovery at Stonehenge, where a giant stone was found to have been transported from northern Scotland, not Wales as previously believed. He also delves into the presence of elongated skulls found at many of these sites, suggesting a hidden history and advanced ancient civilizations.
The bottom line is this: As followers of the One who spoke all things into existence, we shouldn’t be afraid to investigate the purpose of these structures and speculate on the possibility of ancient technology and lost knowledge.

ISRAEL IS on the front lines of a religious and civilizational struggle that goes back 1,400 years.
We visited Israel in May to see with our own eyes how Israelis are dealing with the shock of October 7 and the stresses of the ongoing war. In July, Pastor Niel Peterson invited Sharon and me to gave a talk at Harvest Revival Center in Brookville, Ohio about our takeaways from that visit in May.
This one-hour talk features images and video so you can see what we saw in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and several communities attacked by Hamas last October. The bottom line is that while Israel faces an existential threat from Iran’s proxies in the region, the people of Israel are determined to survive.
Most important, we see in scripture that God has not washed His hands of Israel.
WE ARE LIVING in prophetic times. The fact that Iran—ancient Persia—launched an attack on Israel for the first time in history this year is proof.
Ali Siadatan (ThinkAgainProductions.com) joins us to discuss Bible prophecy and the unique relationship between Persia and the Jewish people throughout history. Our discussion also touches on the Sunni-Shia divide and the alliances formed based on a common goal of opposing Israel.
We discuss the question of how to interpret and understand biblical prophecy in the midst of complex geopolitical dynamics. The conversation explores the patterns and multiple fulfillments of biblical prophecies, focusing on Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38–39. Ali emphasizes that prophecy is not a linear fulfillment but a pattern that repeats throughout history—which is why Iran’s turn against Israel is so significant.
ONE OF THE MYSTERIES of the Bible is why there are no accounts of priests or prophets casting out demons. Why is that?
This is odd because the pagan neighbors of the Israelites knew about demons and had an entire library of rituals and spells for casting them out. And in the early 1st century, Jesus and the apostles had their hands full casting demons out of people all over Judea and the Mediterranean world.
Joining us to explore the presence of demonic entities in the Old Testament and their connection to ancient pagan deities is our monthly Iron and Myth crew: Doug Van Dorn(www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, Dr. Judd Burton(www.BurtonBeyond.net), director of The Institute of Biblical Anthropology, and Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), best-selling author of Chronicles of the Nephilim, Chronicles of the Watchers, and the theological thriller Cruel Logic.
We discuss various passages and linguistic connections that suggest the existence of demons in the Hebrew Bible. We also delve into the significance of the desert as a place associated with chaos and demonic activity. The conversation touches on the rituals and practices related to demons, including the naming and mocking of these entities.
We conclude with an examination of Azazel and the connection between the demonic realm and the wilderness. The conversation explores the presence of supernatural entities in ancient texts and their connection to demonic activity. The term Abarim is discussed as a name for Mount Nebo, associated with spirits on the other side of the veil—namely, the Rephaim.
And we look at Lilith, a vampiric creature mentioned in Isaiah 34:14 (usually translated into English as “night bird”) in relation to ancient Near Eastern and Mediterranean traditions. We also take a look at the significance of Psalm 91 and its references to pestilence, terror, and destruction as names of entities.
Ultimately, however, we can only speculate on why we don’t see exorcisms in the Old Testament. Is it possible that the practice only became necessary with the appearance of the Messiah in the Holy Land?
DONALD TRUMP, Nikola Tesla, and time travel?
The 2024 presidential election is already one of the weirdest in American history. Troy Anderson (troyanderson.us) joins us to discuss his forthcoming book The Trump Code that explores the strange relationships between the Trump family, Nikola Tesla, and a series of 19th century novels that seem to predict Donald Trump’s return to the White House—followed by chaos.
We also discuss the potential impact of a second Trump term, the existence of a deep state, and the role of secret societies in shaping world events. Finally, Troy touches on whether the United States has reached its “Nineveh moment,” an opportunity to repent and turn back to God to avoid what appears to be imminent judgment.
A CEASEFIRE in Gaza will not bring peace to the Middle East. Those who think otherwise need a lesson in history.
Islam is bent on world domination. Not all Muslims aspire to victorious global jihad, but those who follow the teachings of Muhammad the way his immediate successors do. With 1.6 billion Muslims on Earth, that still leaves a sizable remnant willing to pursue his vision of conquest.
In May, lecturer/author/theologian/politician Avi Lipkin (biblicalalliance.com) spoke to the group we took to Israel on our Solidarity Mission. Avi gave us a condensed history lesson, including evidence of the anti-Jewish bias of the U. S. State Department, and what he sees coming for Israel and its neighbors—especially Lebanon, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.
The bottom line, according to Avi: Sleep well despite the headlines because God is going to do what God is going to do.
PEOPLE SEEK meaning outside of themselves, something bigger that transcends the natural realm and offers answers to the big questions of life. Surprisingly, in our modern age that often means turning to the pagan gods of antiquity.
Carl Teichrib (ForcingChange.org), author of Game of Gods, joins us to explore the concept of re-enchantment in the modern world, where people are seeking spirituality and meaning outside of traditional religious frameworks.
We discuss the shift from modernity to postmodernity, the rejection of Christianity and traditional norms, and the use of psychedelics as a means to connect with the divine. We also talk about the rise of paganism and the reasons people are turning to ancient pagan beliefs.
The bottom line is this: It’s important to ground one's faith in the Word of God rather than relying solely on experiential spirituality, regardless of whether one considers him or herself a Christian or a pagan.
“THERE WERE GIANTS in the earth in those days.” Those nine words are among the most controversial in the entire Bible.
Who or what were the Nephilim? Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, Dr. Judd Burton (www.BurtonBeyond.net), and Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), best-selling author of Chronicles of the Nephilim and the theological thriller Cruel Logic, join us for our monthly Iron and Myth roundtable to discuss the giants of the pre-Flood world.
We address the arguments against understanding these beings as literal hybrid creatures and explore the reasons why this interpretation is not taught in seminaries. We highlight the importance of addressing contrary views and the need to consider multiple interpretations of theological concepts.
Our conversation touches on the role of the Septuagint in understanding the giants and the connection between the giants and the divine council, the interpretation of the Hebrew word 'Nephilim' and its connection to the 'sons of God' and 'daughters of men' in Genesis 6, and the significance of cosmic geography and the cult of the dead in relation to the giants.
WHAT IS a Baptist preacher doing with the website UFOpastor.com?
Pastor Mike Hoggard of Bethel Church in Festus, Missouri (pastormikehoggard.com) sat down with us at the Mysteries of the Bibleverse Conference in Cincinnati to explain why the UFO phenomenon is just a modern spin on a very old lie—one with serious implications for the end times.
Mike explains that Nordics, Reptilians, and Grays have a biblical explanation, and that, even though they’re not extraterrestrisl, they are rightly called “aliens” because they’re not from here—and they’re not supposed to be here.
REALITY IS A LOT CLOSER to The X-Files than we’d like to believe. It’s also a lot closer to the future laid out in the Book of Revelation.
David Heavener is putting his vision of what that might look like on the screen with his award-winning series, The Last Evangelist. David, who’s written, produced, and directed the series, discusses his inspiration for what some might find a disturbing vision of the very near future, and how his background as a director of low-budget action movies in Hollywood has prepared him for a project that’s being produced without the strings that come with a big budget.
The Last Evangelist recently won a Diamond Globe Award at the International New York Film Festival for Best Inspirational Series, and David received a Diamond Globe for Best Director—competing against some projects with many times the budget behind them.
Episode 2 of The Last Evangelist debuts at 6:00 PM EDT Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Harvest Revival Church in Brookville, Ohio (suburban Dayton). If you’d like to attend, reserve your place at David’s website, DavidHeavener.tv.
SINCE OCTOBER 7, 2023, the number of Christians speaking out against Israel has been growing. Some of these voices are openly anti-Semitic.
Dr. Mike Spaulding (DrMikeSpaulding.com), pastor of Calvary Chapel in Lima, Ohio, has written a couple of articles at Harbinger’s Daily rebuking this disturbing spirit. Mike discusses the history of Israel and misconceptions surrounding its existence. We also discuss the importance of supporting Israel and understanding its biblical significance.
Mike also brings details of his annual Go Therefore Conference (GoThereforeConference.com) July 26–27, 2024 at Harvest Revival Center in Brookville (Dayton), Ohio. Derek and Sharon Gilbert are featured speakers along with L. A. Marzulli, Pastor Carl Gallups, Dr. Judd Burton, Pastor Paul Begley, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, Joe Ardis Horn, Tom Dunn, and Dr. Greg Reid.
THE BOOK OF 1 ENOCH has had a powerful influence on Christian theology. But it’s more than just an explanation of how the Nephilim came to be in Genesis 6.
The second section of the Book of 1 Enoch, chapters 37–71, is called the Book of Parables by scholars. It was the last section of 1 Enoch to be written, probably completed toward the very end of the 1st century BC. It contains teachings that are not found in any prior Jewish writing—for example, the forgiveness of sin through repentance rather than the Law, the imminent judgment of God on an evil world, and the coming of a messianic figure called the Son of Man who would execute God’s justice on rebellious angels, evil kings, and wicked landowners.
What’s more, scholars now believe the Book of Parables was written by Essenes—but not at Qumran, where the idea that anyone could be forgiven outside of their community and their rules was inconceivable. The group that wrote the Book of Parables lived in the north, at Mount Arbel near the town of Magdala on the northwest shore of the Sea of Galilee.
This is near the south end of the valley through which the Jordan River flows between the Mount Hermon and the Sea of Galilee. This valley is the physical Valley of the Shadow of Death—and Jesus declared it so when he moved from Nazareth to make his home at Capernaum on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee—plainly visible from Mount Arbel less than six miles away.
The Essenes of Mount Arbel, who could see Mount Hermon on the northeastern horizon, prepared the ground in the upper Galilee for the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah. And they did it with teachings preserved for us in the Book of 1 Enoch.
A DEBATE over the nature and identity of a shadowy group mentioned in the Book of Genesis has divided Christian theologians for the last 1,600 years.
This month, our Iron and Myth roundtable discusses the “sons of God” in Genesis 6:1–4. Were they divine beings or humans? And if they were just flesh and blood, how did their unions with “daughters of men” result in the Nephilim (which we’ll discuss next month)? Joining us to hash this out are Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, Dr. Judd Burton (www.BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant, and Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), best-selling author of the theological thriller Cruel Logic.
Our discussion explores the interpretation of the phrase 'sons of God' in Genesis 6 and its implications in the Old and New Testaments. We delve into the Sethite view, the dynastic king view, and the supernatural view, examining the historical and linguistic context of the phrase. The Septuagint's role in clarifying the supernatural elements is also highlighted.
We also address the fear of mythology and selective theology based on personal bias. The conversation also explores the divine right of kings, the nature of the angel of the Lord, the concept of the Nephilim, the cultural context of ancient beliefs, and the danger of interpreting ancient scriptures while projecting modern values onto the past.
IF EVER there was a time for men of valor to rise up and defend the Christian faith, it’s now.
Corby Shuey, pastor of Mt. Zion Road Christian Church in Lebanon County, PA, author of For Valor: Defending the Faith for Those of Worth (https://amzn.to/3VmKIs8), joins us to talk about the concept of valor in defending the faith, the importance of defending traditional Christian values, and the critical role of men in leading their families in the spiritual battle.
We also address the impact of fear, the preservation of biblical truth, and the desperate need for strong shepherds in the church.
WHEN ARE GODS not gods? When they’re rebranded as human judges or rulers to avoid uncomfortable theological implications.
Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), best-selling author of the theological thriller Cruel Logic, Doug Van Dorn(www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, and Dr. Judd Burton (www.BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant, discuss a Hebrew phrase in Genesis 6:2 that has led to a lot of theological discussion over the last 1,700 years. Are the bene ha-elohim (“sons of God”) angelic beings or is that simply a term that refers to human rulers who allowed themselves to be corrupted.
Psalm 82 reads like a courtroom scene in heaven if one accepts the supernatural interpretation of “sons of God” or “sons of the Most High.” However, because Jesus quotes Psalm 82:6 (“I said, ‘You are gods’”) in John 10:34, responding to a group of Jews who wanted to stone him for claiming to be divine, there are those who argue that Psalm 82 does not refer to supernatural beings.
We discuss Jesus’s use of Psalm 82 in John 10; in a nutshell, he would not have claimed to be divine (“I and the Father are one” – John 10:30) and then immediately said, in effect, “But it’s OK because you’re all gods, too.”

IT’S BIZARRE that world opinion has swung against Israel in its ongoing war in Gaza.
Less than eight months ago, a murderous death cult swarmed out of Gaza, murdering more than 1,200 and abducting another 200. Yet the tone of media coverage could lead one to conclude that Israel was the aggressor in this conflict. The longer Hamas delays the release of the remaining 130 or so hostages, its only leverage over Israel, the greater the pressure applied to Israel by the rest of the world including its primary military supporter, the United States.
Last week, we traveled to Israel with a small group from the US, UK, and New Zealand to see things for ourselves, without the corporate media filter. We visited communities in the Negev that border Gaza: Sderot, where the police station was besieged and overrun; Ofakim, where a quick-thinking Jewish grandmother stalled terrorists with her cooking until her police officer son could round up counterterror forces; and Re’im, site of the Nova Music Festival, where 364 Israelis died that morning—the single deadliest terror event in Israel’s modern history.
Thanks to Mike Kerr and Jeannie Moore of Hear the Watchmen (hearthewatchmen.com), we present a one-hour summary of our trip to Israel, including never-before-seen video from ground zero of the Israel-Hamas War.
AS THE WORLD hurtles toward the Second Coming, you have a unique mission for our King.
That’s not to say God needs us to wield His sword. He will handle that on His own when the time comes. Meanwhile, discerning your divine mission can help you live with a sense of clarity and purpose while sharing the hope you have in Christ with your family, friends, and colleagues.
Retired U.S. Army Colonel David Giammona and Pulitzer Prize-nominated journalist Troy Anderson join us to discuss their new book Your Mission in God’s Army (https://amzn.to/3JHh7Tt). They explain what it means to walk in supernatural power, protection, and provision; how to glean wisdom from U.S. military intelligence tactics and strategies; and powerful techniques and disciplines used by biblical heroes.
YOU CANNOT understand the supernatural conflict described in the Bible if you don’t understand what happened in Genesis 6:1–4.
Gary Wayne joins us to discuss The Genesis 6 Conspiracy Part 2, a well-researched and detailed sequel to his best-selling book. We explore the Genesis 6 event, the importance of understanding prehistory and giants in relation to end time prophecy, and the distinction between Nephilim, Rephaim, and Gibborim.
Gary explains that the first book focuses on the connection between Genesis 6 and secret societies, while the second book delves deeper into the biblical basis for understanding giants and their role in the post-Flood world. We also touch on the Jesuits, the battles of Israel against giants, and the significance of the terms Nephilim, Rephaim, and Gibborim in biblical context.
THERE IS A RISING TIDE of anti-Semitism in the body of Christ. It's time for believers to address this issue.
Mark Sutherland (MarkSutherland.org) joins us to discuss the geopolitical struggles involving Israel and the rise of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. We examine the importance of understanding biblical prophecies and the significance of Jerusalem in these events.
We also address irresponsible reporting by the corporate media and misinformation surrounding Israel and the Jewish people. The conversation delves into the history of Zionism, the establishment of Israel, and the complexities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The decline of Christianity in the Middle East is increasing, down from 20% of the population a century ago to 5% today, but it isn’t due to Jewish persecution. Understanding history is critical to informed discussions about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
THE PSALMS are often polemics directed at the gods of the pagan nations around Israel. Case in point is the subject of this month’s Iron and Myth roundtable, Psalm 29.
Dr. Judd Burton (www.BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant, Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), best-selling author of the new novel Cruel Logic, and Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, discuss Psalm 29 and its interpretation from a divine counsel perspective.
We explore the translation of the Hebrew phrase bene elim as “sons of God” and its connection to the divine council (Psalm 82:1). We also discuss the similarities between Psalm 29 and Canaanite poetry about Baal, suggesting that the psalm may be a subversive polemic against Baal worship.
We also highlight the geographical references in the psalm and their significance in relation to the storm-god language. It’s important to recognize these similarities and understand the cultural context of the biblical world. Not only did the Hebrew prophets and psalmists take direct aim at the gods of their pagan neighbors, their writings reveal Christ in the Old Testament.
MYSTERY BABYLON of the end times is the return of Babel.
This shouldn’t surprise us—the Hebrew words bab el (from Akkadian bab ilu, meaning “gate of gods”), translated Babylon, are the same words rendered “Babel” in Genesis 11. Tyler Gilreath, author of the new book Gate of the Gods, explains why the connections between Babel and Babylon are much deeper than just linguistics.
Here's the link to 'Gate of the Gods' at Amazon: https://amzn.to/4aBnN1m
Bear in mind that there will be a special discounted offer on 'Gate of the Gods' at the SkyWatchTV store in a month or so accompanying broadcast programs featuring Tyler Gilreath and Lt. Col. Robert Maginnis, author of the forthcoming book 'Out of this World: Are UFOs Aliens, Spirits, or Pure Hokum?'
YOU’VE HEARD OF the universe and the multiverse—but what about the unexplained mysteries of the Bibleverse?
Micah Van Huss, host of Marginal Mysteries for Southwest Radio Ministries, is one of the featured speakers (along with Derek) at the upcoming Mysteries of the Bibleverse Live Event June 7–8, 2024 in Cincinnati. We discuss Micah’s books Ancient Cities and the Gods Who Built Them, Secret Societies: Blood Never Sleeps, and The Earth as it Was, and why Christians should even care about weird topics like giants, demons, and UFOs.

THE NUMBERS 9-1-1 have a specific meaning for Americans—the numbers one dials to call for help in an emergency. They’re also significant as the chapter and verse in the Book of Revelation that identifies the fallen angel called the Destroyer.
Joining us this week are pastor, author, and acclaimed biblical prophecy expert Paul Begley, host of a popular YouTube show with over 250 million views, and Pulitzer Prize-nominated investigative journalist and five-time #1 bestselling author Troy Anderson, authors of the new book Revelation 911: How the Book of Revelation Intersects with Today’s Headlines.
We discuss the relevance of a 2,000-year old prophecy in a world struggling with war, famine, disease, and mass migration—and even how recent renewed interest in the UFO/UAP phenomenon points to the soon return of the Messiah.
SOME OF THE MOST epic stories from the ancient world deal with the wars of the gods. It’s not a coincidence that one of the most commonly used titles for God in the Bible is “Lord of hosts,” which literally means “Yahweh of armies.”
Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, Dr. Judd Burton (www.BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant, and Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), best-selling author of the new novel Cruel Logic, join us to discuss warrior gods of the ancient world like Ares/Mars, Inanna/Ishtar, Baal/Zeus/Jupiter, and the violent old gods the Titans, and how their motives differ from those of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
We also talk about how we Christians, believing in a loving God who’s willing to forgive those who repent and accept Him as Lord, can reconcile the image of Jesus as the suffering servant with the depiction of Yahweh the warrior.
KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR saw a vision that disturbed him so much that he ordered his sorcerers, enchanters, and magicians to tell him what he’d dreamed and its interpretation—on pain of death.
Obviously, the Chaldeans of Nebuchadnezzar’s court couldn’t comply with the king’s demand. They were on the verge of being killed when one remembered the Judean named Daniel. Through a revelation of God, Daniel was able to reveal the dream and its interpretation, but that’s led to 2,500 years of debate over just what the interpretation actually means.
Ali Siadatan (ThinkAgainProductions.com) joins us to discuss the ages of humanity—gold, silver, bronze, and iron—and the mixing of iron and clay as described in the dream. We also touch on the succession of empires and the concept of the fourth exile and the Messianic age.
We also explore the idea of birth pangs and the signs of the end times, including the days of Noah and the phenomenon of hybrids and the existence of demigod kings in history. We explore evidence of Gilgamesh's tomb and the possibility of hybridization between fallen angels and humans.
Ali also shares his interpretation of the parable of wheat and tares, the birth of civilizations, and the supernatural nature of the Bible—including Ezekiel’s startling prophecy of an evil dead army in the final battle at Armageddon.
FROM A BROKEN HOME in Guatemala to life as a gangster in Los Angeles, Mondo De La Vega is one of the last people you’d expect to find preaching the gospel.
Mondo, Executive Producer of The Jim Bakker Show and host of The Mondo Show, joins us to discuss his new book My Crazy Life, and how his sister Laura, who, through the power of the Holy Spirit, resisted the lure of the false family structure offered by the gangs of L.A., was able to turn Mondo’s life around with three questions, and how meeting Jim Bakker not only gave Mondo a direction but brought Jim back to active ministry doing what he does best—finding ways to deliver the gospel through broadcast television.
SOMETHING STRANGE has been happening on this planet for literally thousands of years, and it connects an intrusion into our world by fallen angels to modern paranormal phenomena like those reportedly observed at Skinwalker Ranch.
Chad Riley of Truthseekers Research, writer/director and host of the documentary film Skinwalkers and Stranger Things of the Unseen Realm, joins us to explain how his research uncovered links between an ancient sin by rebellious elohim and unexplained events in the present day like remote viewing, cryptozoology, UFOs, and—of course—the Kennedy assassination.
TECHNOLOGY TO help you get possessed. It’s out there—apps to guide you in journeys to the spirit realm. And what about the use of mind-altering drugs to open gateways to the unseen realm?
Joining us to discuss the intersection of cutting-edge science and technology in the pursuit of contacting the spirit realm are Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com) and Dr. Judd Burton (www.burtonbeyond.net). (Sadly, our friend Brian Godawa (www.godawa.com) was unable to join us this month.) Throughout history, many techniques labeled sorcery or witchcraft were seen by its practitioners as efforts to develop scientific methods for reaching into the spirit world.
We also talk about the increasingly fuzzy line between technology and magic. If entities in the spirit realm are essentially beings of light, can the devices we use to connect to the web allow entities to enter our reality? Can CERN really open a hole into another dimension—and if so, will something come through? (Maybe, and no.)
We conclude that intentionality is the key ingredient. Not to be flippant, but if you really want to contact a demon, you can probably do it while reading names from a telephone book.
ONE OF the most enigmatic characters in the Bible is a man who literally sold his birthright for a bowl of beans.
We refer, of course, to Jacob’s brother Esau, about whom the Bible doesn’t say much else except that he was the progenitor of Edom, southwest of the Dead Sea, a nation that would be a thorn in the side of Israel and Judah for about a thousand years.
Justin Brown, host of Prometheus Lens and co-host of The Dig Bible Podcast, joins us to discuss his forthcoming book, The Epic of Esau. Is there more to learn about the brother Jacob tricked out of his inheritance? For example, a Jewish legend about Esau names him as the one who killed the Sumerian king Nimrod, and by so doing, inheriting a magical garment—the one created by God for Adam when he and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden.
There is no way to confirm the ancient stories, so at the end of the day we’re left with some valuable lessons from the life of Esau like the importance of humility, repentance, and forgiveness in the face of missed opportunities and bad decisions.
Find Justin’s podcasts at prometheuslenspodcast.com and thedigbiblepodcast.com.
HOW DO YOU replace one of a kind?
There was only one Tom Horn. He leaves a legacy, an unparalleled body of work that has opened the eyes of Christians around the world to the supernatural war in which we all play a part.
Joe Ardis Horn has taken over as CEO of SkyWatch TV, a role he never imagined for himself when Tom first began to outline his vision for a new kind of Christian television program. Joe tells us how and why he changed the course of his life from expert dog trainer to hosting and overseeing a cutting-edge media ministry.
The Middle East is in turmoil, but trying to understand the conflict in terms of simple geopolitics doesn’t provide good answers.
Iran is using proxies in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen to attack Israel and pressure the West. But Iran is a Shia nation while its most violent proxy, Hamas, is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, a Sunni group that wants to restore the caliphate—which was based in Turkey.
Dr. Timothy Furnish, a scholar of Islamic eschatology, joins us to help untangle the web that binds together Shias and Sunnis, and Persians and Arabs, in their opposition to Israel and the West.
We highly recommend Tim’s books Holiest Wars, Ten Years’ Captivation with the Mahdi’s Camps, Sects, Lies and the Caliphate, and The COIN of the Islamic Realm. Tim’s books are available in hard copy and Kindle format at Amazon.
DO PLACES EXIST where the veil between this world and the next is thinner—namely, portals?
Dr. Judd Burton (www.BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant, Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), best-selling author of the new novel Cruel Logic, and Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, and join us to discuss the concept of portals. From Mount Hermon to the Tower of Babel to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, a belief in portals between the supernatural and human realms is ancient and widespread. Do portals actually exist? Can our entertainment choices open us up to spiritual influences?
This would all be an intellectual exercise if Jesus hadn’t specifically chosen to declare his divinity at Caesarea Philippi, a location widely believed to be a portal in the ancient world.
A SIGNIFICANT PORTION of liberal America apparently feels the only way to “save our democracy” is by disenfranchising tens of millions of voters.
There are movements to keep Donald Trump off the ballot in some 30 states, and congressional Democrats want to disqualify more than 125 Republican colleagues from running for reelection by claiming that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution bars anyone from holding office if they engaged in insurrection—which they define as doing what prominent Democrats like Hillary Clinton did after the 2016 election.

THE WAR between Israel and Hamas began three months ago today. Is this the start of the conflict prophesied in Psalm 83, the Gog-Magog war of Ezekiel 38–39, or something else?
ALI SIADATAN (ThinkAgainProductions.com), producer and director of the documentary UFOs Angels & Gods, joins us to share his unique perspective on the geopolitical (and theopolitical) situation in the Middle East. What does Iran hope to gain through its proxy militias in Yemen, Lebanon, and Gaza? Why now? And how will a rising movement inside Iran to throw off what some consider a religion led by an invading “Arab god”—Islam—affect the outcome of this war?

ARE WE guilty of “majoring in the minors”?
Studying topics like giants, gods, and dragons in the Bible is important. But does focusing on these subjects detracts from the message of love, grace, and salvation in Jesus Christ?
Brian Godawa, best-selling author of the new novel Cruel Logic, Doug Van Dorn, author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, and Dr. Judd Burton, author of Interview With the Giant, join us to discuss the significance of geographic locations and religious context in biblical events.
Jesus himself waged war with demons, principalities and powers who rebelled against their Creator. We need a comprehensive theology that includes historical, cultural, and biblical knowledge. Without it, we cannot recognize or understand the devices of the enemy.
As our good friend the late Dr. Michael Heiser used to say, “If it’s in the Bible and it’s weird, it’s probably important.”
IT’S DEFINITELY one of the strangest stories of 2023: Villagers in a remote region of the Amazon rainforest in Peru have been defending themselves against attackers called pelecaras, which translates into English as “face-peelers.”
Timothy Alberino, who lived in that region for a time as a younger man, returned recently to investigate the accounts of seven-foot-tall levitating “aliens,” and he tells us what he found.
ANCIENT SUMERIANS built a tower of mud brick as a portal to the gods. Today, Babel is more high-tech.
Author Nick Goss joins us to discuss his new book Unplugging Babel: A Manifesto Against AI, Smartphones, and Social Media. Nick explains why he says smartphone technology and social media have enslaved Christians, tethering us to participation in the coming 'Beast Bystem' of the Antichrist.
ONE OF THE MOST notorious characters in the Bible, and all of history, is a man about which we know almost nothing.
Nimrod is blamed for the Tower of Babel and the occult wickedness of Babylon. However, a close reading of the Bible and the history of the ancient Near East doesn’t specifically connect him with either. Some identify Nimrod as the Sumerian king Enmerkar, some as Sargon the Great of Akkad, others as the mythical hero of Uruk, Gilgamesh.
How much do we really know about Nimrod? Is there any connection to Semiramis, Tammuz, and Christmas? Doug Van Dorn, author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, Dr. Judd Burton, author of Interview With the Giant, and Brian Godawa, best-selling author of the new novel Cruel Logic join us for our monthly round table to discuss the man, the myth, the legend—Nimrod.
This is the BBC News article that got everyone so excited 20 years ago: “Gilgamesh Tomb Believed Found.” Except that’s not what Dr. Jörg Fassbinder actually said.
Fassbinder’s team did a magenetometric survey of the site of ancient Uruk, the city ruled by Gilgamesh probably 5,000 years ago (give or take). They mapped magnetic anomalies in the soil to find the city walls and outlines of buildings in the city. During the survey, they found the outline of a structure in what was formerly the course of the Euphrates River that was similar to the description of the tomb described in the Epic of Gilgamesh.
Fassbinder and his team excavated nothing. And yet that BBC story has been twisted and retold so often that it’s now taken as an article of faith that videos with titles like “Gilgamesh Nephilim King FOUND INTACT IN TOMB” are still being produced—and getting about 100 times more views than our program because we stick to actual evidence.
Here’s a 2002 story from Radio Free Europe about Dr. Fassbinder’s work with a title that’s more accurate and less clickbait: “Iraq: Archaeological Expedition Mapping Ancient City Of Uruk.”
Here are the relevant papers by Jörg Fassbinder:
Beneath the Euphrates Sediments: Magnetic Traces of the Mesopotamian Megacity Uruk (2020)
Uruk (Iraq) Magnetometry in the First Megacity of Mesopotamia (2018)
Magnetometry at Uruk (Iraq): City of King Gilgamesh (2003)
You can see his work is all with the magnetometer, not the shovel or spade. Gilgamesh was not exhumed.
WHAT WE CALL “prepping” our grandparents called “life.” We’ve lost those skills—and the knowledge that your neighbors had your back when things got tough.
Wyatt Fernow, one of the organizers of the annual Pitchfork and Hoe Gathering in Valley City, North Dakota (facebook.com/pitchforknhoe), sat down with me at this year’s event to explain why his father, Rod, came up with the idea for this get-together, the types of exhibits and workshops offered, and the lessons he hopes people take away from this gathering.
I was honored to be a featured speaker Friday and Saturday night at the Pitchfork and Hoe Gathering. Links to my presentations and the Q & A sessions that followed are below.

THE THREE big questions of life that have haunted humanity since the beginning of history are still with us today: Where do we come from, why are we here, and what happens when we die?
Shaun Tabatt and Randy Kay have authored three books on near-death experiences (NDEs), accounts of experiences from people who were clinically dead and brought back to life. Shaun joins us to discuss why he and Randy research a phenomenon that many Christians avoid, how they selected the accounts in the book, and their fascinating discovery that the intercessory prayers of mothers and grandmothers seem to be especially effective.
A CREEPY DOLL that takes on a life of its own is a well-worn trope in Hollywood horror films. Is there any truth behind this modern urban myth?
Dr. Judd Burton (BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant and the forthcoming Van Helsing Way, joins us for our annual Halloween show to discuss the spiritual reality behind Hollywood dolls like Chucky (Child’s Play), Annabelle (The Conjuring), the evil clown in Poltergeist, and M3gan. As Judd notes, dolls are not all that different from the “images” created by the pagan neighbors of ancient Israel (and by pagans today) to give locality to their gods.
If the apostle Paul was correct, and we defer to him in matters supernatural, then these idols—dolls, if you prefer—were, and can be, homes to demons.
WHO BETTER to investigate sensational reports of levitating inhuman visitors in the remote Amazon rainforest than Timothy Alberino?
Seriously. Not only is Tim, author of the bestselling book Birthright, a respected ufologist, he lived for ten years in exactly the part of the Amazon where these reports emerged in August and speaks the unique dialect of Spanish used by villagers in that region.
What is going on? According to eyewitnesses, seven-foot tall, yellow-eyed creatures of possibly insectoid appearance who can float through the air have been terrorizing villagers along the Amazon and its tributaries. They appear to be impervious to bullets, and there are some who believe these are what are locally called “face peelers.” And it’s not because these creatures are really into skin care.
The official explanation, that these are illegal gold miners using jet packs to travel deep into the jungle, makes no sense, so Tim has assembled an expedition to the Ikitu tribe in the remote Peruvian village of San Antonio. He leaves Monday, October 23, 2023, and we wait to see what he finds.

GOD WAS very clear when He told Moses that sorcery was absolutely forbidden. Would He have bothered to mention it if it was make-believe?
Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), author of the new novel Cruel Logic, Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, and Dr. Judd Burton (www.BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant, join us for our monthly round table to discuss witches, warlocks, and the forbidden practice of spell-casting.
HAMAS SURPRISED Israel with an attack early Saturday, October 7. As of this recording, more than 300 Israelis are dead with another 1,600 hurt. It’s the worst military setback in Israel since the Yom Kippur War exactly 50 years ago.
Filmmaker, author, and prophecy scholar L. A. Marzulli joins us to discuss the biblical significance of this new conflict, the latest chapter in the long history of war over the land that God claimed as His own more than 3,400 years ago.
SOFT DISCLOSURE of the existence of “extraterrestrial” life has gone mainstream, with stories about UAPs appearing in the corporate media regularly since December, 2017.
Things reached a new level this summer, with a so-called Pentagon whistleblower claiming knowledge of recovered alien craft and veteran journalist Jaime Maussan presenting already-debunked mummified “non-human” remains to Mexico’s Congress—but getting press coverage nonetheless.
What’s behind this growing drumbeat? Ali Siadatan (ThinkAgainProductions.com), producer of one of the first Christian documentaries on the UFO/UAP phenomenon UFOs Angels & Gods, joins us for a thought-provoking discussion of the prophetic significance of the idea that humans are not alone in the universe. Is this setting up the Great Deception, where humanity is fooled into believing that fallen angels are “good” aliens, here to fight on our behalf against the “bad” aliens who are coming to conquer Earth?
WHAT HAPPENS when the dead don’t stay that way? And is that even possible?
Our monthly Iron and Myth roundtable tackles the topic of the unquiet dead—revenants, ghouls, zombies, vampires, ghosts, and more. Do the dead come back? If so, how do we deal with it?
We’re joined by Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), author of the new novel Cruel Logic, Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, and Dr. Judd Burton (www.BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant, to discuss the dead and why stories of their return from the grave have persisted since before the beginning of recorded history.
A NEW AGE teaching very much like sorcery is making its way into Christian churches.
Our guest this week is the author of a book that pulls no punches in calling out this doctrine. Jon Clash (www.godtrepreneur.com) discusses his book The Law of Attraction: A Gateway Drug to Spiritual Heroin. Jon explains what the Law of Attraction is, the similar teachings corrupting Christians under a variety of names, and why this idea of “mind over matter” is so dangerous.

COULD YOU defend your worldview as if your worldview depended on it? What if your life actually DID depend on it?
Award-winning screenwriter and bestselling author Brian Godawa (www.godawa.com) joins us to discuss his new novel, the “theological thriller” Cruel Logic: The Philosopher Killer. The plot features a brilliant university professor—a ruthless killer who captures distinguished college professors and debates them on his moral right to kill them. If they lose, they die.
And they always lose.
The novel is available in paperback, Kindle, and audiobook versions here (available September 12, 2023).
MUSIC HAS power. It can inspire, and it can seduce. And for those with the gift of making music, it can be a test and a trap.
Two world-class musicians join us this week who gave up careers as secular musicians to share the gospel of Jesus Christ: Caspar McCloud (casparmccloudmusic.com), pastor of the Upper Room Fellowship in Ball Ground, Georgia (theupperroomfellowship.org), and Renae Truex (renaetruex.com), a fiddle player who’s performed at the Grand Ole Opry and with musicians like the legendary Charlie Daniels.
Renae and Caspar explain how they joined forces, why they passed on secular success, and the inspiration for songs like “Fly Like Superman,” “Nurse Kate,” and “Georgia Guidestones.”
The new CD by the Caspar McCloud Band is “Higher Frequencies,” and it’s on sale as of this recording—when you buy the new CD “Higher Frequencies,” you get their previous disc “Walking in Authority” free! Click the link below to take advantage of this offer from Caspar McCloud Music.
IS IT possible for a story to literally scare the Hell out of you?
Every era has had its stories of monsters, demons, and gods. Those tales can teach some supernatural truth—sometimes by accident. That’s not to say that we can find the gospel in every tale of horror; as Brian Godawa (www.Godawa.com), author of the forthcoming novel Cruel Logic, observes, they are “reflections through a distorted lens of godless man.”
Brian joins Dr. Judd Burton (www.BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant, and Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, to discuss our favorite examples of horror that manage to teach us something about the spiritual conflict around us.
IT’S TRUE—if you want to do archaeology in Israel, you go into the field with a shovel in one hand and a Bible in the other.
Dr. Mike Freikman of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem joins us this week to discuss his current excavation at Tell Beit Mirsim. This site, located about 12-1/2 miles southwest of Hebron, was excavated more than 90 years ago by one of the giants of biblical archaeology, William F. Albright.
Dr. Freikman, who’s done the most recent excavations on the Copper Age megalithic site on the Golan Heights called Gilgal Refaim (“Wheel of the Giants”)and the nearby serpent-shaped ridge we've dubbed the Serpent Mound of Bashan, explains why he’s returning to a site that hasn’t been positively identified with a place named in the Bible—especially when that means following in the footsteps of one of the pioneers of archaeology in Israel.
If you’re interested in volunteering to help dig at an ancient Judean city destroyed in 701 BC by the Assyrian king Sennacherib, contact Mike by email at Michel.Freikman@mail.huji.ac.il.
A GROWING BODY of evidence links the giants of the pre-Flood world with ancient Canaan and the mysterious island of Sardinia off the west coast of Italy.
Author, filmmaker, and explorer Timothy Alberino (www.timothyalberino.com), who is our special guest on our 2024 tour of Israel, joins us to discuss the hundreds of giants’ tombs on Sardinia. They are used to this day in a rite of passage tradition where young teens will spend the night inside a tomb to absorb the energy of the giants believed to be buried underneath.
We also discuss the archaeological evidence connecting the Nuragic civilization of Sardinia and Canaan of the Late Bronze Age, specifically the site in Israel near Megiddo called El Ahwat, which features architecture not found in ancient Canaan—but nearly identical to Nuragic construction on Sardinia.
Finally, we speculate on why Sardinia has so many giants’ tombs. Derek misspoke—more than 800 have been discovered on the island!
For information and to reserve your place on our Israel tour with Timothy Alberino March 31–April 9, 2024, log on to www.GilbertsInIsrael.com.
WERE THE fertility goddesses of the ancient world the women who’d been taken as wives by the rebel Watchers?
Michael Gagliardi, author of Devil Take the Hindmost (www.amzn.to/3Y1OcQw), a terrifying account of his childhood as the son of a mother possessed by demons, joins us to discuss an aspect of the pre-Flood world most of us have never considered: Is it possible the women venerated as fertility goddesses were simply those women who’d been chosen by the “sons of God” to bear their hybrid offspring?
IT IS possible to be delivered from addiction so severe that not only do you lose your family, but you’re convinced that you are the Messiah in the flesh.
Barbara Joan Briggs discusses her book Love and Renewal of the Heart and Mind, an honest, revealing, and inspiring account of how Jesus Christ saved her from a life of mental illness, hearing voices from the unseen realm that encouraged her to follow a path that nearly led to destruction for her and her children.
IS IT possible to literally scare the hell out of someone?
Joining us for our monthly Iron and Myth round table are award-winning screenwriter and best-selling author Brian Godawa (Godawa.com), Pastor Doug Van Dorn (DouglasVanDorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, and Director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology Dr. Judd Burton (BurtonBeyond.net), author of Interview With the Giant: Ethnohistorical Notes on the Nephilim.
With the buzz around the recent horror film Nefarious, which presents a more theologically accurate picture of demonic possession than pretty much anything from Hollywood, we address the question: Can Christians use horror as an apologetic?
GOTH CULTURE is dark. So, how is it even possible for music described as “Christian Goth” to be a thing, much less spread the gospel of Jesus Christ?
Musician and author Trace Taylor joins us to discuss the unique musical styles she employs to share the hope we have in Jesus, especially her genre-busting single Parousia, which has earned praise from secular media like Zero Tolerance magazine, a music publication that normally features music that promote the dark side.
Trace discusses the influences on her style, the challenges of being a worship leader whose musical styles fall outside the mainstream, and her new book From Nothing: Ex Nihilo, which addresses the question that modern science still fails to answer: Where do we come from?
OFFICIAL DISCLOSURE is back in the news as a “whistleblower” has come forward with claims of alien spacecraft recovered by the US military.
We’ve heard this before. Actual proof is non-existent, and, as with every major UFO/UAP “disclosure” since Roswell in 1947, the military-intelligence complex has fingerprints all over it.
So, to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the Roswell incident, we bring you a presentation based on the 2017 book Josh Peck and I co-authored, The Day the Earth Stands Still. This was a talk I gave last fall at the Church of Glad Tidings in Live Oak, California. The bottom line is this: The modern belief in “ancient aliens” can be traced from Zecharia Sitchin and Erich Von Däniken back to the occult teachings of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and Aleister Crowley—by way of the horror fiction of H. P. Lovecraft.
In our book, and in this talk, we connect the dots from Crowley to Cthulhu to Chaos.
ANCIENT ALIENS, cosmic conspiracies, and a final battle for the fate of humanity. It's like the Avengers meets the Book of Revelation.
That’s the elevator pitch for the new novel The Regenesis Code: The Cosmic Conspiracy Book 1. Co-authors Dr. Doug Hamp and filmmaker Morné Theunissen join us to discuss the inspiration for a fresh take on the end of days—a story that includes Doug’s discovery of new information that’s been hiding in plain sight on the inscription found on the summit of Mount Hermon in 1869 by Sir Charles Warren.
JESUS BASED his ministry in a part of Israel that was known as a hotbed of supernatural activity for thousands of years—a place that features not one, but three megalithic sites described as “wheels of the giants.”
Why did he do it? What was special about the Upper Galilee and Golan Heights—the ancient kingdom of Bashan, a name that literally means “place of the serpent”?
Brian Godawa, award-winning screenwriter and best-selling author, Pastor Doug Van Dorn, author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, and Director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology Dr. Judd Burton, author of Interview With the Giant: Ethnohistorical Notes on the Nephilim, join us for our monthly Iron and Myth series to discuss the links between the region between Mount Hermon and the Sea of Galilee, speculate on why it’s literally covered with monuments to an ancient cult of the Rephaim, and explore the reasons Jesus may have had for choosing that area as the home base of his ministry.
WHAT DOES pickleball have to do with living life as a follower of Jesus Christ? Surprisingly, more than you’d think.
Stacy Lynn Harp, Christian therapist and host of Bible News Radio, joins us to discuss her book Pickleball Faith: Inspiration On and Off the Court. Stacy explains how what appeared to be a means to connect with others in her adopted home state of Tennessee became a series of life lessons on conflict, death, sportsmanship, and faith.
WHERE JESUS performed his miracles is often just as important as the miracles themselves.
Case in point: The only miracle other than the Resurrection to appear in all four gospels is the feeding of the 5,000. The Bible tells us this occurred in a desolate area near Bethsaida, the hometown of the apostles Peter, Andrew, and Philip.
Doug Van Dorn, author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, and Director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology Dr. Judd Burton, author of Interview With the Giant: Ethnohistorical Notes on the Nephilim, join us to discuss an unknown megalithic site on the bank of the Jordan River two miles north of the Sea of Galilee. If you watch the video broadcast, you’ll see exclusive photos and video of this ancient site as we explain why we think it’s where the miracle took place—and why it’s linked to an old belief, described in Psalm 74:13–14, that God served up Leviathan as food for creatures in the wilderness.
TWO THOUSAND years ago, the city of Ephesus was dominated by the cult of Artemis. Her temple was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, and the silversmiths who made images of the goddess started a riot because Paul’s preaching cut into their business.
Stephan Caraway, co-founder of Fig Tree Watchers Ministries, joins us to discuss a new article he’s posted as part of a series on the Book of Ephesians, “Why Ephesus Lost a Lamp Stand to Paganism and Violence.” Even with the Word of God delivered by the apostle Paul, the church at Ephesus fell back into pagan practices that focused on icons, individuals, and images. Stephan explains why Ephesus, and the message from Jesus delivered by John in the Book of Revelation, is a dire warning for believers today.
ONE OF THE difficulties in understanding the spirit realm is that New Testament authors, especially Paul, used the same Greek terms for both earthly and heavenly beings.
So, how do we understand terms like thrones, dominions, rulers, authorities, principalities, and powers? To borrow another phrase from Paul, as though we’re looking into a mirror in a darkened room.
Joining us for our monthly Iron and Myth series are Brian Godawa, award-winning screenwriter and best-selling author; Pastor Doug Van Dorn, author of Giants: Sons of the Gods and The Angel of the LORD; and Director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology Dr. Judd Burton, author of Interview With the Giant: Ethnohistorical Notes on the Nephilim.
We grapple with the terms used for denizens of the unseen realm, including the term rendered “saints” in English (and why it doesn’t always mean humans), and the mysterious Glorious Ones that, according to Peter and Jude, were blasphemed by rebellious persons within the first-century church.
NEARLY EVERY culture on Earth features a creation account that includes heavenly voice speaking into the human world and creating the algorithms of human civilization.
Ali Siadatan, creator of Think Again Productions, joins us to discuss the fundamental differences between the creation accounts of the pagan world and the story contained in the Bible—and to explain why the modern UFO phenomenon is just a new spin on old pagan myths.
IT COULD BE the most controversial passage in the Bible: The Nephilim [or giants] were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown. (Gen 6:4, ESV)
Scholars and theologians have argued over that verse for thousands of years. While scholars have come to accept that the verse means what it says, Christian seminaries still teach pastors that the “sons of God” were the righteous male descendants of Seth, the son of Adam and Eve.
In 2019, I gave a presentation on this at the Look, He is Coming with the Clouds Prophecy Conference at Crosspointe Church in Sanger, California. The bottom line is this: The Nephilim were divine-human hybrids whose creation was universally accepted by the prophets, apostles, and early church. The spirits of the giants destroyed in the Flood of Noah are the demons that are with us today.
Most important, the Hebrew prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel foretold the ultimate destruction of the Nephilim.
HUMANITY IS CAUGHT in a life-and-death struggle with forces beyond our comprehension. And powerful political and religious groups appear to be siding with this inhuman enemy.
Daniel Holdings, writer of the new Steve Quayle documentary Lies of Men and Gods, discusses this supernatural conspiracy thousands of years in the making.
What’s the difference between angels, cherubim, and seraphim? Who are the Watchers, and can a messenger angel, a malak, be promoted to the rank of Watcher?
We’re joined for our monthly Iron and Myth roundtable by Brian Godawa, award-winning screenwriter and best-selling author; Pastor Doug Van Dorn, author of Giants: Sons of the Gods and The Angel of the LORD; and Director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology Dr. Judd Burton, author of Interview With the Giant: Ethnohistorical Notes on the Nephilim. We discuss rank in the spirit realm based on terms used in the Old Testament—malakim (angels), cherubim, seraphim, and Watchers—and try to make some sense of the unseen realm.
SOMEONE OR some group has figured out a process for abducting and disposing of more than a hundred healthy young men in the U.S., U.K., and Europe over the last twenty years.
The victims are found in bodies of water, but not drowned, and many were found with a smiley face symbol painted or carved on a surface nearby.
William Ramsey, producer/director of the documentary The Smiley Face Killers, joins us to discuss the occult connections behind this disturbing series of deaths. Click here to watch The Smiley Face Killers at Vimeo.
MORE PEOPLE believe in ET than in the God of the Bible. We wish that was a joke.
Josh Peck, co-author with Derek of The Day the Earth Stands Still, explains why a couple of Christian researchers and authors spent half a year writing a book about UFOs and “alien” abduction.
OUR GUEST this week is a longtime UFO investigator who has concluded, after decades of research, that the “UFO phenomenon does not constitute conclusive evidence of actual physical ET visitations by physical extraterrestrial biological entities piloting or maneuvering physical extraterrestrial spacecraft of any kind.”
Norio Hayakawa, who’s featured in the film Alien Intrusion, joins us to explain why the phenomenon is real, but not what most people think it is.
Visit Norio’s Civilian Intelligence News Service at noriohayakawa.wordpress.com.
THE NEPHILIM were on the earth in those days, and also afterward. In fact, the spiritual descendants of the Nephilim are still at work in the world today.
Gary Wayne, author of The Genesis 6 Conspiracy: How Secret Societies and the Descendants of Giants Plan to Enslave Humankind (note: click here for the Kindle ebook edition), discusses the research behind his wide-ranging work that covers at least 6,000 years of history and the strategy behind the long game played by the Nephilim, their angel creators, and their human dupes.
Graham Hancock’s Ancient Apocalypse has been called the most dangerous show on Netflix. Why?
Author and pastor Doug Van Dorn, bestselling author and award-winning screenwriter Brian Godawa, and Director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology Dr. Judd Burton join us for our monthly Iron and Myth round table to discuss the hit series that’s sent professional archaeologists and the terminally woke into fits.
What could possibly be so dangerous about a series that investigates mysterious megalithic sites that apparently were built by different cultures with no prior history of that type of technology or architecture, and all at around the same time—9600 BC, the end of the last Ice Age, and following a devastating global flood.
Well, for one thing, Hancock proposes that survivors of the Ice Age took knowledge preserved from a superior civilization brought that information to surviving hunter-gatherer cultures around the world, thereby moving the influence of a superior culture—which, in our worldview, was that of the angelic Watchers described in the Book of 1 Enoch—from before the Flood of Noah to after.
Surprisingly, however, Hancock has also received a lot of pushback from progressives who interpret his theory as a racist rewrite of history, assuming that he believes that indigenous people were not able to build megalithic structures like Göbekli Tepe without the help of (presumably light-skinned) foreigners.
We discuss the good and bad in Ancient Apocalypse and how Hancock’s blind spot—his dismissal of the agency of supernatural entities—prevents him from seeing the truth.
GIANTS OF MYTH are described in surprisingly similar terms all over the world, from Mesopotamia to Mesoamerica. There is a reason for that.
Doug Van Dorn, pastor of the Reformed Baptist Church of Northern Colorado in Boulder, joins us to discuss his revised and expanded edition of his groundbreaking book, Giants: Sons of the Gods. Yes, the giants in the Bible were real, and they’re important. Ignoring the Nephilim, as the modern Christian church usually does, leaves a gaping hole in our theology.
THE BIBLE tells us that father Abraham died at the age of 175. How can we reconcile that with science without losing our belief in the inerrancy of scripture?
Dr. Craig Olson, Dean of Biblical Studies at Trinity Southwest University, explains that the problem is not the number, it’s the difference in the way numbers were used in the ancient Near East compared to today. In a nutshell, people 3,500 years ago simply did not record history and interpret numbers the way we do in the 21st century AD.
Dr. Olson also explains why Tall el-Hammam, an archaeological site eight miles northeast of the Dead Sea, is far more likely to be ancient Sodom than the traditional location, Bab ed-Dhra, southeast of the Dead Sea.
Renowned Bible scholar, author, friend, and mentor Dr. Michael S. Heiser stepped into eternity Monday, February 20, 2023. All of us owe Mike a debt.
Director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology Dr. Judd Burton, bestselling author and award-winning screenwriter Brian Godawa, and Pastor Doug Van Dorn return this week to share memories of Mike—how we first became aware of his work, how it’s influenced our lives, and the legacy Mike leaves behind.
”Farther Along” sung by the Coles County Barbershop Chorus under the direction of Dr. Tom Woodall.
DEMONS ARE the spirits of the giants destroyed in the Flood of Noah. At least, that’s what Jews of the Second Temple period and the early Christian church believed.
Author and pastor Doug Van Dorn, bestselling author and award-winning screenwriter Brian Godawa, and Director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology Dr. Judd Burton join us for our monthly Iron and Myth round table to discuss the origin of evil spirits. We dig into what the Bible says about these spirits, extrabiblical texts, and startling evidence that the demigod heroes of Greece like Herakles and Perseus were the Rephaim of the Amorites, Canaanites, and Hebrews.
Here’s a link to the paper mentioned by Doug during the program, “The Sons of God in Genesis 6:1–4,” a 2013 doctoral dissertation by Dr. Jaap Doedens (link opens PDF file).
GIANTS ARE in the Bible because they’re important.
This week, we bring you an interview recorded in July of 2021 with Dr. Michael Heiser, a giant among Bible scholars, in our view. Mike’s research and his willingness to share it has literally changed the lives of thousands of people. His books, including The Unseen Realm, Reversing Hermon, Angels, Demons, and A Companion to the Book of Enoch, Volumes 1 and 2, are foundational to a deeper understanding of the Bible.
In this discussion, Mike explains why the giants of Genesis 6 are still relevant today, why Joshua’s conquest of Canaan was a war to destroy the Anakim (who are linked to the Nephilim), the significance of Mount Hermon, and the connection between baptism and the Watchers who rebelled against God in the days of Noah.
You can support Mike’s ministry Milqlat at www.miqlat.org, and help Mike’s family through Meal Train.
An eight-foot golden statue on a courthouse in New York City is just the latest piece of evidence of a cult of Watcher worship at high levels of our society.
Christopher Knowles, proprietor of the Secret Sun Institute of Advanced Synchromysticism, joins us to explain why the figure, described by a New York politician as a “satanic golden Medusa demon,” represents the gender-fluid Sumerian goddess Inanna, called Qetesh in Egypt (and Ishtar, Astarte, and many other names in many other places over the centuries), and how this is part of an ongoing series of “art” displays intended to re-establish the “old blood sacrifice cults… under the cover of Woke.”
A large city that just happens to be where the Bible places Sodom was destroyed by an air burst in the Middle Bronze Age—just when Abraham would have been in Canaan.
Dr. Phillip Silvia is the co-author of a peer-reviewed paper that stirred up a lot of controversy in September of 2021 by describing a cataclysmic event over the north end of the Dead Sea about 3,700 years ago comparable to the Tunguska blast in 1908. Dr. Silvia is the Director of Scientific Analysis at Tall el-Hammam, an archaeological site in Jordan east of Jericho, about 8 miles northeast of the Dead Sea. He tells us why the evidence on the ground aligns with the Bible’s description of the destruction of Sodom.
Who or what are demons? Where do they come from, and how are they different from fallen angels?
Author and pastor Doug Van Dorn, bestselling author and award-winning screenwriter Brian Godawa, and Director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology Dr. Judd Burton join us for our monthly Iron and Myth round table to discuss evil spirits of the unseen realm—and the connections between the heroes of Greek mythology and the Nephilim of the Bible.
SODOM IS REAL and it’s been found. By the time you see or hear this program, a team will be on its way to Jordan for the final season of excavations at the site.
We sat down with Dr. Steven Collins, author of Discovering the City of Sodom and Co-Director of the Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project. He shared with us the excitement of uncovering a site that was one of the most important Bronze Age cities in the Levant, and he explained the significance of the massive field of dolmens, megalithic funerary monuments probably used in rituals for a cult of the dead, at the base of the city.
CONSTANT ACCESS to the Internet has exposed an entire generation of children to predators in ways that are difficult to imagine.
Opal Singleton-Hendershot, CEO of Million Kids and author of the books Seduced: The Grooming of America’s Teenagers and Societal Shift: A World Without Borders and A Home Without Walls, joins us to discuss the new documentary Sextortion: The Hidden Pandemicand the threat posed by devious predators who use and manipulate kids who don’t realize the dangers hiding on the other side of the screen.
Sextortion is available to watch instantly on a number of video services. Click here to watch the film.

IT’S TIME Christians reclaim Christmas.
We live at a time when some Christians are intimidated about wishing other Christians a Merry Christmas, afraid they might accidentally be participating in what was originally a pagan rite. Our monthly Iron and Myth round table says, “So what if it was?”
Author and pastor Doug Van Dorn, bestselling author and award-winning screenwriter Brian Godawa, and Director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology Dr. Judd Burton discuss the signs in the heavens that pointed to the birth of Jesus, the ways in which the powers and principalities—the gods of the pagan world—have tried to appropriate what was, in actual, historical fact, a Christian celebration from the beginning, and why—biblically—it doesn’t matter.

THE SPECTACULAR COLLAPSE of cryptocurrency exchange FTX is the latest blow to the battered global crypto market, which has lost more than 60% over the last year.
Guy Malone, copy editor for Bitcoin magazine, explains the difference between Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, what brought down the empire of Sam Bankman-Fried, and the implications for digital and fiat currencies going forward.
Many of us have experienced a particular type of demonic attack. Most of us don’t recognize it for what it is.
Vicki Joy Anderson, author of They Only Come Out at Night, a highly-recommended book on the terrifying phenomenon called Sleep Paralysis, joins us to explain the different between SP and night terrors, how demons literally groom children in their sleep, and what parents can do—especially fathers—to protect their families from these spiritual attacks.

WESTERN CHRISTIANS have been so desensitized to the supernatural that we usually don’t recognize evil when it’s staring us in the face.
Joining us for our monthly Iron and Myth series are Brian Godawa (www.godawa.com), best-selling author and award-winning screenwriter, Pastor Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, and Dr. Judd Burton (www.burtonbeyond.com), author of Interview with the Giant: Ethnohistorical Notes on the Nephilim.
We discuss the lack of discernment in the church today, the use of mind and mood altering drugs to open doorways to the spirit realm, and whether it’s possible for a demonic entity can inhabit an artificial intelligence, a website, or even the entire Internet.
ARCHAEOLOGISTS CALL IT the oldest temple on Earth. If that’s so, who or what was worshiped there?
Dr. Aaron Judkins (aaronjudkins.com) joins us to share the research behind his new book, Guardians of Göbekli. We discuss the evidence for the site’s use as a place of worship, rites that may have been practiced there, and links between the god of Göbekli and the Bible.
TOO OFTEN, we Christians are terrible ambassadors for our king. We prefer that those with the greatest needs clean themselves up a bit before admitting them into our congregations.
David and Tonya Holt have been on the outside looking in—dealing with various issues like drugs, abuse, and homelessness, which can open to the door for other problems of a spiritual nature. They discuss their ministry, Church Without Walls in Oildale, an impoverished area of Bakersfield, California, what led them to this work, and what it’s like doing church for the hungry, homeless, and abused in a place that literally has no walls.
You can follow the work of Opal Singleton-Hendershot at MillionKids.org.
FAIRY TALES aren’t all Mother Goose and Snow White. There is a dark side to those stories that can be traced back to the entities in the unseen realm.
Dr. Judd Burton joins us for our annual Halloween episode together, and he explains that the fantastic stories of witches, giants, and trolls that we heard as children can be traced back to the rebellion of the fallen spirits.
THE CHALDEANS were the people who created the kingdom of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon who destroyed the Temple of Yahweh in Jerusalem. The spirit behind his kingdom still influences the world today.
Messianic Rabbi Zev Porat joins us from Tel Aviv to discuss his new book, Unmasking the Chaldean Spirit. He explains what that spirit is and how it’s manifesting in occult practices around the world—even among religious Jews in Israel today.
HOLLYWOOD IS drawing our culture into paganism. There is no other way to characterize the types of movies and TV series coming out of the major studios.
Joining us for our monthly Iron and Myth series are Brian Godawa (www.godawa.com), author of Leviathan and Behemoth and screenwriter of the new film My Son Hunter (www.MySonHunter.com), Pastor Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods. And Dr. Judd Burton (www.burtonbeyond.com), author of Interview with the Giant: Ethnohistorical Notes on the Nephilim.
We discuss the religious themes in the films and television series coming out of Hollywood, from Twin Peaks, Stargate SG-1, American Gods, and Sandman to Clash of the Titans, Avengers: Endgame, The Eternals, and Justice League. The bottom line is that pagan religion sells, and Americans seem all too willing to buy.
MOST OF US have had an experience that can be described as night terrors or sleep paralysis. For some, however, it’s a common, ongoing experience—one that makes going to bed a living hell.
Vicki Joy Anderson, author of the new book They Only Come Out at Night: Exposing the Dark Weapon of Sleep Paralysis, digs deep into scripture to shine a light on the dark entities and “shadow people” who terrorize young and old, revealing their methods and motives and, best of all, offering hope by showing how these demonic visitations can be stopped.
CHINA IS an imminent threat to our way of life. That may sound like a return to a 1950s way of thinking, but it’s true.
LTC Robert Maginnis, author of the new book Kings of the East: China's Plan to Eliminate America and Impose a Communist World Order, explains how China’s history, economic power and coming military superiority are being deployed to make China the world’s leading power and impose a communist order on the entire planet.
GOD HAS PLACED HIS NAME in every strand of DNA in your body. Seriously.
That’s just one of the stunning revelations in the new book The Yeshua Protocol by best-selling author Pastor Carl Gallups. Carl shares the discovery of the very name of God in our genetic code, the explosion of knowledge and technology foretold by the prophet Daniel, and what it means for us as believers in Jesus Christ.
DRAGONS ARE make-believe—or so we’ve been told. So, why are they in the Bible?
Joining us for our monthly Iron and Myth series are Brian Godawa (www.godawa.com), author of Leviathan and Behemoth and screenwriter of the new film My Son Hunter (www.MySonHunter.com), which is making a splash despite not being a theatrical release, and Pastor Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods. Sadly, Dr. Judd Burton (www.burtonbeyond.com), author of Interview with the Giant: Ethnohistorical Notes on the Nephilim, was under the weather and couldn’t join us this month.
We discuss the biblical depictions of serpents and dragons, note that supernatural entities like dragons, satyrs, and goat-demons have been translated out of our modern English Bibles, and whether some of the entities traditionally called “angels” might be reptilian in appearance.
ON THIS DAY in 1683, the king of Poland, John III Sobieski led a cavalry charge that saved Vienna, and probably all of Western Europe, from the army of the Ottoman Empire. Had Vienna fallen, the history of the last 350 years would be very different.
John Sobieski is just one of the Christian leaders who stood against Islamic armies over the last 1,400 years. Those we’ve heard of have had their reputations smeared by modern (and postmodern) revisionists who tend to frame conflict between the West and Islam as a struggle between the colonialist European (read: white) patriarchy and oppressed people of color.
Author and historian Raymond Ibrahim (www.raymondibrahim.com) joins us to talk about his new book, Defenders of the West: The Christian Heroes Who Stood Against Islam. The book features eight men who fought back against Muslim aggression. Some you’ve heard of, like El Cid, Richard the Lionheart, and Vlad Tepes (“the Impaler”), and some you probably haven’t. Raymond explains why he chose his subjects, why he drew so heavily on primary sources in the book, and what lessons we need to learn from their example.
SPIRITUAL WARFARE is a foreign concept to many Christians. Others assume that every obstacle we face in life has a demon attached. The truth is somewhere in the middle.
Mike Kerr of Hear the Watchmen Ministries joins us for a special midweek program to tell us about the Advanced Spiritual Warfare Training Workshop October 16–18, 2022 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, just across the Ohio River from Louisville. Besides Derek, speakers include David Heavener, Dr. Mike Spaulding, Tom Dunn, Vicki Joy Anderson, Sanda Allyson, and Tracy Tennant.

EVEN SECULAR researchers admit that UFOs (or UAPs, as they’re now called) behave more like interdimensional craft than ships from outside our solar system. Christians, who should have been among the first to point this out, still tend to ignore UFOs altogether.
Ali Siadatan, producer of the groundbreaking 2006 documentary UFOs Angels & Gods, was one of the first to publicly connect the Bible and “extraterrestrials.” We discuss the connections between the gods of ancient Mesopotamia, the Bible, and the post-Roswell UFO phenomenon.
AMERICA IS arguably the most powerful nation in history. So, why isn’t it mentioned in end times prophecy?
Jackie Alnor argues that it is, but it’s been hiding in plain sight. She joins us to discuss her thought-provoking new book The United States of Israel, and to explain why the lost tribes of Israel aren’t lost at all—they’ve been here all along, in the “melting pot” called the United States.
Most of us adult Christians would find coming face to face with a demon-possessed person absolutely terrifying. Imagine how it must be for the child of a parent who’s possessed.
Michael Gagliardi, author of Devil Take the Hindmost Part 1 and Part 2, describes the life he led as the son of a mother who fought a losing battle against a dark spirit through his entire childhood.
IS CHAOS a symbol of disorder, or is it, as certain passages in the Bible suggest, an entity?
Back this month for another in our Iron and Myth series are Brian Godawa (www.godawa.com), author of Leviathan and Behemoth, Pastor Doug Van Dorn (www.douglasvandorn.com), author of Giants: Sons of the Gods, and Dr. Judd Burton (www.burtonbeyond.com), author of Interview with the Giant: Ethnohistorical Notes on the Nephilim.
We discuss the various ways chaos is described in the Bible (Leviathan, Rahab, a multi-headed sea dragon, and the sea itself), the apparent struggle to subdue chaos in scripture and in pagan cultures of the ancient world, and the disturbing connection between chaos and the modern UFO phenomenon.
The first casualty of war is truth. This is especially true in spiritual warfare.
Col. David Giammona and Troy Anderson, CEO and COO of Battle Ready Ministries, discuss their new book, The Military Guide to Disarming Deception, and share their thoughts on how to detect, discern, and disarm the lies of the Fallen.
Somebody really, really wanted the ruler of Jerusalem around 1300 BC to die. And he was probably a Hebrew.
Dr. Doug Petrovich, epigrapher and author of The World’s Oldest Alphabet and Origins of the Hebrews, explains that the curse inscription found at Jerusalem is not, as it’s been described, proto-Canaanite, but another example of very early Hebrew script—more evidence to refute the claim that Moses couldn’t have written the first five books of the Bible because the Hebrews didn’t have a written language until centuries later.
Stream this weekend's Go Therefore Conference (www.gothereforeconference.com) in Dayton, Ohio and get unlimited access to the presentation videos for just $59. Dr. Mike Spaulding joins us with details.
Jesus used the art of storytelling to convey spiritual truth. We Christians have not done well at following his example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stmd0rJdxuM
This week, brothers Nick Goss and Jonathan Goss, authors and host of The Gosslings podcast, explain why they write supernatural fiction from a Christian perspective, and share their challenges and successes in getting their messages across.

Why are some places on Earth more supernatural than others? Like, what’s the deal with Mount Hermon?
Pastor Doug Van Dorn and Dr. Judd Burton join us for our monthly Iron and Myth session (author Brian Godawa had to miss due to a last-minute schedule complication) as we try to figure out why certain places seem to be supernatural hot spots.
Our scientistic society is setting up millions to believe in a alternate end-times scenario—one where “extraterrestrials” help humanity to evolve.
Michael Stibs (www.detoxbabylon.com), producer and host of Project Revelation, joins us to discuss this alternate cosmology and how a scientific discipline in search of something to study—xenoarchaeology—and simulation hypothesis may play a role in this great deception.
Reaching the world with evidence for the hope we have in Christ is a vital calling—especially when that outreach is directed at our Jewish brothers and sisters.
Dr. Igal German, founder of Yesod Bible Center in Chicago, joins us to discuss his new ministry, the International Biblical Apologetics Association, and the needs of his team to launch this mission. In Dr. German’s own words:
“In these days of spiritual apathy and growing apostasy among believers, the Lord has called me to create an international apologetics ministry. Our mission is to proclaim God’s truth around the world, to create and disseminate resources to effectively defend biblical doctrine among individuals and churches. I am convinced that Bible believing Christians should unite as one army of the Living God to destroy the works of the devil and save deceived and lost souls.”
BLENDING THE fun and excitement of fantasy sports with and a watchful eye on our would-be globalist overlords: This is the New World Order Fantasy League (www.nwofl.com)!
Yeah. This is a thing.
Basil, co-host of Canary Cry News Talk (canarycrynewstalk.com), joins us with details of the NWOFL. As the website says, you may not be an elite lizard person athlete, but the New World Order Fantasy League puts you in the action!
Wondering who to draft? Torn between using your first round pick on Emperor Klauspatine and Lex Bezos? Listen for our exclusive advice during our NWOFL mock draft!
THE DEATH OF THE GODS is prophesied in the Bible. This is not in dispute, unless one argues that God Himself was mistaken in calling the pagan gods of the ancient world “gods.” (See, for example, Exodus 12:12 and Psalm 82.)
Pastor Doug Van Dorn, writer Brian Godawa, and Dr. Judd Burton join us for our monthly Iron and Myth session to discuss the death of the gods: When will it happen—or has it happened already?
THERE ARE SOME people whose lives sound like the plot of a TV drama—like, when you hear their stories, you find them hard to believe.
Shawn Rae was the product of a broken home. His father was out of the picture early and his mother struggled with her own demons, which meant that Shawn had little direction or restraints as a kid. He gravitated to gangs, drugs, and alcohol—and the pit got deep, eventually including human trafficking and addiction to cocaine and heroin.
Shawn’s salvation is nothing short of miraculous, and his message is simple: If Jesus can save him from where he was, Christ can reach you, too.
Follow Shawn on Facebook here: www.facebook.com/stillkickin985
BRINGING TOGETHER the body of Christ is a noble calling, but it’s a lot of work. Why would the pastor of a church, with all of the responsibilities that job entails, take on the job of organizing a conference?
Dr. Mike Spaulding, pastor of Calvary Chapel in Lima, Ohio and the host of Dr. Mike Live on YouTube, joins us to discuss the upcoming Go Therefore Conference July 29–30, 2022 at the Harvest Revival Center in Brookville (Dayton), Ohio.
Speakers include Derek and Sharon Gilbert, Pastor Carl Gallups, Dr. Michael Lake, Pastor Caspar McCloud, David Heavener, Coach Dave Daubenmire, Kenny Seay, Tom Dunn, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, and more. Information and registration here: www.GoThereforeConference.com.
HOW WOULD you react if travel restrictions imposed during a pandemic kept you from returning home?
That’s what happened to Hugh Theriault, the missions pastor at Golgotha Fellowship in Nampa, Idaho. He left a successful career as an agronomist and come to the United States to attend Bible college, and then was blocked from returning to his home in Quebec by rules related to COVID.
So, Hugh relocated to his wife’s home state of Idaho, sold their home in Quebec without ever returning, and is using his education and language skills to reach out via the Internet to the French-speaking nations of the world—of which there are many more than most of us Americans realize.

WHAT WOULD it look like if the apostle Paul lived today?
Hollywood veteran David Heavener joins us to discuss the launch of his latest project, The Last Evangelist–a television series he describes as CSI meeting the Book of Revelation.
After the break: Comments on the supernatural influences behind the Uvalde massacre.
THE SONS OF GOD saw that the daughters of men were fair, and they took as their wives any they chose.
This story is at the root of many of the spiritual practices of the ancient world—pagan, Jewish, and Christian. But when did the transgression of the bene ha-elohim take place?
We’re joined again by Brian Godawa, Doug Van Dorn, and Dr. Judd Burton for our latest edition of Iron and Myth to discuss the fall of the Watchers, including some fascinating passages in Numbers and Isaiah that may be prophecies of the ultimate destruction of the rebellious Watchers and their hybrid offspring, the Nephilim.

AS CHRISTIANS of European descent continue to “desupernaturalize” the Bible, the Gospel takes root in unexpected places.
Bill Old Chief is a pastor with a strong prophetic calling. He’s also an author, musician, and tribal leader among the Blackfeet Nation of Montana. He explains why the gospel message resonated with the Blackfeet, the lessons he’s learned from trial and sorrow, and how the Holy Spirit will sometimes take hold of you even when you’re trying to resist!

What, where, and who is Mystery Babylon?
That’s a question Christians have wrestled with since the first century AD. Doug Woodward, author of the new book Will Babylon Be Rebuilt in the Last Days?, argues that the theory that Babylon must be rebuilt in the same location as the ancient city is not fully grounded in scripture.
DOES HELL exist? How would you react if you’d been taken there and then returned to Earth?
Bryan Melvin, author of A Land Unknown: Hell’s Dominion, shares his account of the terrifying four hours he spent among the denizens of the netherworld and how it completely changed his life.
Watch Bryan’s program The Christian Marauder at YouTube, Rumble, and at The Daily Renegade.
MUCH OF the Bible’s early history occurred in the land we now call Turkey. Noah’s boat landed there, and Abraham—contrary to what you may have been taught—was from northern Mesopotamia, not Sumer.
Doug Hershey, author of Israel Rising and Jerusalem Rising and the founder of Ezra Adventures, discusses the historic and prophetic significance of the land that was home to the seven churches of Revelation, the mighty Hittite empire, and the oldest religious settlement on Earth, Göbekli Tepe.

A PIECE of broken pottery connects the Israelites to the destruction of a city immediately after Joshua’s “long day.”
Archaeologist and epigrapher Dr. Douglas Petrovich, author of Origins of the Hebrews and The World’s Oldest Alphabet, joins us to discuss his new paper on the Lachish Milk Bowl Ostracon, a potsherd he calls a sort of ceramic business card—with writing he describes as a “proto-consonantal alphabetic script.”
Doug explains why this bit of ceramic is more proof that Hebrew is the world’s oldest alphabet.
After the break: Was Russia’s invasion of Ukraine inspired by “Putin’s Rasputin”?
SATAN AND his minions haven’t been completely united in their rebellion against God. What did this war in the fallen realm look like?
Brian Godawa, Doug Van Dorn, and Dr. Judd Burton discuss the supernatural war that has raged across the cosmos almost since the beginning of creation.
Then Aaron Lipkin describes the historic significance of the lead curse tablet at the site of Joshua’s altar on Mount Ebal in Israel.
THE EARTH is under imminent threat from a group of hostile extra-dimensionals.
Dr. Douglas Hamp, pastor of The Way Congregation in Denver, explains what he means as he joins us to discuss his new book Corrupting the Image III: Singularity, Superhumans, and the Second Coming of Jesus.
Doug shares his analysis of end times prophecy and tells us why alien “disclosure” and the transhumanist movement, far from being science fiction, are key factors to fulfilling prophecy along the road to Armageddon.
WHAT DO you get when you cross Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, and the Book of Enoch?
Author John Graves joins us to discuss his new space opera trilogy Starship Gilead. Book One, Relics of Utopia, is available now; Book Two, Prodigal, drops April 5, and Book Three, The Last Battlefield, will be published May 3.
John (real name Kevin G. Summers) talks about weaving Christian themes into science-fiction, how Star Trek led him to the Bible, and how we can use stories to draw people to the gospel who might not be open to hearing a sermon.
THE NEPHILIM are going mainstream! This month, Doug Van Dorn tells us about his involvement in a new documentary series forthcoming on The Inspiration Network that features biblical giants, Gilgal Refaim, and the serpent-shaped mound a quarter of a mile north of there absolutely covered in megalithic tombs.
Doug tells us about his experience with the producers of the documentary (and gets props for being the first one to recognize what we’re calling the Serpent Mound of Bashan), and then shares some mind-blowing research that suggests Gilgal Refaim may be much, much older than we thought.
Dr. Judd Burton discusses the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia, celebrated around this time every year, and explains why Jesus may have timed his visit to Caesarea Philippi (the Grotto of Pan at the foot of Mount Hermon) to coincide with the festival. And Derek explains why the ancient Hurrians of northern Mesopotamia, rather than the Sumerians, may be the first in recorded history to worship a deity whose home was the abyss.
IT SEEMS like the world has gone mad. Russia has invaded Ukraine, a nation that the United States and its allies pledged to protect. Is this the beginning of the end of days?
Probably not. Although Russia is often connected to Ezekiel’s prophecy of the war of Gog of Magog, there is a long way to go before we reach that conflict. So, while we pray for peace in Ukraine, we need to make good use of the time we have to share the hope in Christ.
AFTER TWO YEARS, the Watchmen return to Dallas!
Mike Kerr of Hear the Watchmen ministries talks about the upcoming “Eyes to See” conference in Dallas and the need for the faithful to get together, especially now.
After the break: The situation between the West and Russia is starting to feel like the run-up to the Gulf War.
THE HYBRID who would be king. That’s the Antichrist’s endgame.
Ryan Pitterson, best-selling author of Judgment of the Nephilim, joins us this week to discuss his latest book, The Final Nephilim. As you’d guess from the title, Ryan believes that the “mighty men who were of old” have a role to play in our future.
We discuss the significance of the Nephilim in biblical theology, the likely role a semi-divine hybrid will play in the end times, and the identity of the mysterious “Assyrian” who’s mentioned in the books of Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Micah.
Ryan (and Derek) will speak at the Homeward Bound prophecy conference from Prophecy Watchers May 19–22, 2022 at the Colorado Springs Marriott. Information and registration at ProphecyWatchers.com.
WE LIVE in a supernatural reality. Christians should be the first to acknowledge this but we’ve conceded the territory to occultists.
Christopher Knowles has been trying to awaken us to the global “sorcerarchy who rule over all of us today” since 2007 at his blog, The Secret Sun. We discuss “synchromysticism,” connections between occult adepts and government intelligence agencies, and why a supernatural worldview is the only way to understand the world around us.
You can dive deeper into Chris’ work at his Patreon page, the Secret Sun Institute of Advanced Synchromysticism.
TEN YEARS of documenting Muslim persecution of Christians every month for the Gatestone Institute hasn’t opened the eyes of Western media, academia, or most Christians outside of the Middle East.
Raymond Ibrahim joins us to discuss the reality confronted by Christians in majority Muslim nations over the last 1,400 years—a reality to which most of us in the West are blind.
GOD CREATED humanity with free will, the ability to choose whether to love Him and love one another, or not. Rather than cherish this precious gift, most of us spend most of our time blaming our circumstances on everything except our choices. And now a growing spiritual movement is promoting the concept of Oneness, the idea that our destiny is to become parts of one cosmic Whole. Carl Teichrib, author of the forthcoming book Game of Gods: The Temple of Man in the Age of Re-enchantment, has been researching and writing about this movement for years, and he explains that it's a lot more advanced than most of us realize.
WE'RE SHAMELESSLY stealing the title of a recent article by this week's guest for the title of the episode. Dr. Timothy Furnish, author of Ten Years' Captivation with the Mahdi's Camps: Essays on Muslim Eschatology 2005-2015, joins us to discuss the recent call by Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for a unified Islamic army to confront Israel.
IS ALL of human history prophetically foretold in the first sentence of the Book of Genesis? Trey Smith discusses his new film The God Dimension and the remarkable properties of the language of the prophets.
The election of Donald J. Trump caught the media, political elites, and the rest of the world by surprise, prompting some pundits to coin the term that became the title of the new book by our guests this week, Trumpocalypse.
Troy Anderson and Paul McGuire, best-selling authors of The Babylon Code, explain why the election of President Trump has thrown the political order into turmoil.
Norio Hayakawa, who’s featured in the new film Alien Intrusion (opens nationwide January 11), joins us to explain why the phenomenon is real, but not what most people think it is.
Visit Norio’s Civilian Intelligence News Service at noriohayakawa.wordpress.com.
THE LEGENDS of the past support the real history of the Bible — when they’re properly understood.
Timothy Alberino, director and expedition leader for the True Legends film series, talks about his life in the Amazon, the 2017 True Legends Conference, and announces a special expedition in 2018 to Rome and Sardinia with Steve Quayle and special guests Derek and Sharon Gilbert.
THE CRASH of a small commuter plane in December of 2013 near one of the Hawaiian islands is the key to understanding how the deep state controls our lives.
Hugo Feugen, co-author of the heavily researched book The Fuddy Hoax, and his colleague “W” explain why the death of then-director of Hawaii’s Department of Public Health, Loretta Fuddy, didn’t happen the way we were told and why that fact is still important today.
FASCINATION WITH the unknown can lead to trouble — trouble with eternal consequences. Laura Maxwell spent years as a spiritualist before realizing there’s something very wrong when your spirit guides are trying to get you killed.
We discuss Laura’s path into and out of the occult, why New Age practices are making inroads into Christian churches, and the danger posed by lack of spiritual discernment.
BELOW YOUR feet is a nightmare world that holds creatures of unimaginable power and unspeakable evil. Pray that you’re not still walking the earth when they finally break out.
Filmmaker Justen Faull, writer/producer/director of the forthcoming film The Hollow Earth Chronicles: The Dark Chambers, explains how the concept of a hollow earth inspired some of the worst crimes against humanity in recent history.
WHAT'S A nice Baptist pastor like him doing with a topic like this? Jumping into the discussion over the identity of the "sons of God" in Genesis 6, Doug Van Dorn, founding pastor of Reformed Baptist Church of Northern Colorado, joins us to discuss his book, Giants: Sons of the Gods. Doug explains why he was willing to go where most pastors don't and why the plain reading of Genesis 6:1-4 is the correct one.
TWO OF our favorite guests return to discuss a fascinating topic. Anthony Patch and Doug Woodward discuss their new DVD, CERN Decoded, an examination of the true purpose of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN — serving as a high-tech key to open the Abyss.
STOCKS HAVE been on the rise since the election of Donald Trump. But the Dow doesn’t have any connection to reality.
John Ragan, one of the featured speakers at the upcoming Hear the Watchman conference in Dallas, joins us to discuss his book The Financial State of the Union and the reasons we need to be prepared for things to take a sudden turn for the worse. As John writes:
We can’t even stop from going further into debt. If we taxed 100% of all income, used it to just pay the interest on all the debt America owes, put aside enough to keep the social insurance programs from going further in the hole, we wouldn’t even have enough left over to fund the Federal Government.
THE INTERVENTION in human history by a rebellious group of angels called the Watchers triggered consequences that are shaping the world even today. Even though this was common knowledge to the Jews of the first century, including the Apostles, the men who wrote the New Testament, most of us in the church have never heard of the Watchers, much less what they did.
Dr. Michael Heiser, author of The Unseen Realm: Recovering the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible, joins us to discuss his new book, Reversing Hermon: Enoch, the Watchers, and the Forgotten Mission of Jesus Christ.
Yes, the fall in the Garden of Eden was critical. But this groundbreaking book will open your eyes to the importance God also places on reversing the effects of the Watchers’ sins against humanity.
NIKOLA TESLA is just one degree of separation removed from the 45th president of the United States, Donald J. Trump.
Stan Deyo joins us with details behind a 1982 interview he recorded for a documentary with Trump’s uncle, Dr. John G. Trump. Dr. Trump told Stan how he’d been asked by the FBI to examine all the papers left behind by Tesla at his room in the Hotel New Yorker after the inventor’s death in 1943 — including a parcel that Tesla had instructed the hotel staff not to open because it contained “the secret to a super weapon.”
Stan explained what was in the parcel and how it might be used to generate energy from the atmosphere.
Life is difficult enough without allowing things you can't see to tear it apart! Doug Overmyer of Seers See Ministries (www.seerssee.org) discusses his new book, 'Peace in Your House: Spiritual Cleansing of Life and Land'.
Doug analyzes demonic forces that oppress us, tells us how they can be stopped, and explains how Christians can learn to hear and discern the voice of God amidst the noise and confusion of our everyday lives.
VAMPIRES HAVE been rehabilitated over the last half century, transformed from hideous blood-sucking creatures of pure evil into seductive, misunderstood antiheroes.
Dr. Judd Burton, Bible scholar, archaeologist, history professor, and director of the Institute of Biblical Anthropology, joins us for our annual Halloween episode to discuss the history behind All Hallow's Eve, the image of the vampire, and his forthcoming novel that examines the vampire trope from a Christian perspective, 'Sanguis'.
WE HEAR every four years that we're facing the most important election ever. This time, at least in a political sense, it may be true.
Filmmaker Trey Smith, the man behind the God in a Nutshell Project, discusses the 2016 presidential election, the globalist agenda, and why he thinks this election is so significant.
WE ARE living in the most prophetic time since the days of Jesus. Pastor Carl Gallups (www.carlgallups.com), best-selling author of The Rabbi Who Found Messiah and Be Thou Prepared, discusses his new book, When the Lion Roars: Understanding the Implications of Ancient Prophecies for Our Time.
Without setting dates or laying out a timeline theory, Carl explains why events such as the restoration of the nation of Israel, invasive government surveillance, and the emergence of the Transhumanist movement are all indicators that the end times are upon us.
WHAT WE'VE been taught in school doesn't fit the evidence. We conclude our exclusive series of interviews from the Rocky Mountain International Prophecy Conference with what the men who brought what were probably the two most intriguing presentations at the conference.
Stan Deyo (www.standeyo.com) talks about the location of the legendary island of Atlantis and its connection to the Nephilim, and L.A. Marzulli (www.lamarzulli.net) talks about his ongoing research into the cone-shaped skulls from Peru and the shocking (and, we now know, fake) "demon fairy".
The government of China is live harvesting organs from prisoners of conscience--possibly from as many as 100,000 prisoners a year.
Ken Stone is the director of the documentary 'Hard to Believe, and he describes the process and the difficulty of telling this disturbing story in a one-hour film.
OUR SERIES of exclusive interviews recorded at the 2016 Rocky Mountain International Prophecy Conference continues with a pair of discussions about the role of the church in the last days.
This week, we talk with Jeff Kinley, author of Wake the Bride, and Joseph Farah, publisher of WND.com and author of the forthcoming book The Restitution of all Things.
Our interviews from the Rocky Mountain International Prophecy Conference this week are two people I see every day: Sharon K. Gilbert, author of 'Ebola and the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse', discusses her presentation "I Compute, Therefore I AM".
Then Josh Peck, author of 'Quantum Creation' and 'Cherubim Chariots', explains why technology and entities that seem to defy the laws of physics are actually transdimensional rather than extraterrestrial.
DANIEL WAS told by an angel that a day would come when people would rush around and knowledge would increase. If these aren't those days, we're awfully close.
This week, we feature interviews with two out-of-the-box thinkers who are watching the increase in knowledge and where it leads: LTC Bob Maginnis, author of the forthcoming book 'Future War', and Gary Stearman, host of Prophecy Watchers and author of 'Time Travelers of the Bible'.
IT SEEMS incredible, but the evidence is there: The government of China is live harvesting organs from prisoners of conscience, possibly from as many as 100,000 a year. Those in a position to know surely do, and yet the West says nothing.
Kay Rubacek of Swoop Films is the producer of a documentary about this practice, appropriately titled 'Hard to Believe' (www.hardtobelievemovie.com). Can we remain silent once we know this is real?
THIS WEEK, we feature interviews recorded at the Rocky Mountain International Prophecy Conference about the people who have aligned themselves with the spiritual entities who rebelled against God.
Dr. Michael Lake discusses the ancient land of Shinar and the rebellion of Nimrod at Babel and the reason God directed Joshua to attack Jericho first during the conquest. Then Paul McGuire talks about the technocratic elite and why they want to rule the world.
THERE ARE more secrets the Holy Land can yield to the archaeologist’s spade. Dr. Aaron Judkins joins us to discuss a dig planned for the Qumran plateau later this year under the direction of Dr. Randall Price. Aaron tells us what they hope to find and how you can help him get to Israel to take part in the dig.
PROPHECY FULFILLED is one of the key reasons believers can know that the Bible is the true and inerrant word of God.
We continue our series of interviews recorded at the 2016 Rocky Mountain International Prophecy Conference with a pair of prophecy experts: Pastor Tom Hughes, author of America in the New World Order and host of End Times TV, and Joel Richardson, best-selling author of When a Jew Rules the World and host of The Underground, discuss the signs and the times.
OUR SERIES of interviews recorded at the Rocky Mountain International Prophecy Conference continues with Ken Johnson and Doc Marquis.
We discuss the end time prophecies in the Book of Enoch with Ken and a remarkable piece of video collected by Doc that seems to show the manifestation of… something.
WE HAVE come to expect nothing but worldly propaganda from Hollywood, even in films (such as Noah and Moses) that claim to tell biblical stories.
However, award-winning screenwriter Brian Godawa, author of the Chronicles of the Nephilim and Chronicles of the Watchers series of novels, recently attended the Family Entertainment and Faith-Based Summit hosted by Variety magazine, and he says things may be getting better.
WE CONTINUE our series of interviews recorded at the Rocky Mountain International Prophecy Conference with a pair of discussions about archaeology.
First, we talk with Dr. Randall Price, president of World of the Bible Ministries, who discusses the site of the Temple in Jerusalem and why it matters, his participation in the search for Noah’s ark, and the upcoming dig at a newly discovered cave near Qumran.
Then we talk with filmmaker Timothy Mahoney, director of the excellent documentary Patterns of Evidence about the clues left behind by the Exodus.
MOST CHRISTIANS in America don’t believe that Satan is a real entity. So why spend eight years making a film about Satanic Ritual Abuse?
Tom Dunn, director of the new documentary Detestable, describes the journey of faith and understanding that produced this disturbing film.
HISTORY IS more important to us than we realize. In these interviews recorded at the Rocky Mountain International Prophecy Conference, we talk with two men who use the events of the past to guide and instruct others about the future.
Aaron Lipkin, CEO of Lipkin Tours, discusses his DVD The Footsteps of God: Finding Gilgal and the work of archaeologist Adam Zertal, who passed away in 2015, in documenting the presence of Israelites in the Holy Land just as it’s recorded in the Bible.
His father, Avi Lipkin, discusses the history of conflict between Islamic sects, the origins of the reborn nation of Israel, and why those details are so important to the geopolitical situation in the Middle East.
TONIGHT WE begin our series of interviews from the Rocky Mountain International Prophecy Conference, discussions with the speakers recorded live in Colorado Springs July 15-17.
This week, we talk geopolitics and near-term prophecy with Bill Koenig, president of Koenig’s International News and author of the new book Revealed: Obama’s Legacy, and Bill Salus of Prophecy Depot Ministries, author of The NOW Prophecies.
Just because Britain’s ‘leave’ vote on its referendum on EU membership may spell the end of the European Union, it doesn’t necessarily mean that Bible prophecy teachers expecting a revived Roman Empire before the end of all things are wrong.
Bill Salus, author of The NOW Prophecies, explains that any number of prophesied calamities, from a Middle East war to a natural disaster that cripples the United States, could be the trigger to bring about a new Rome from which the Antichrist emerges.
OVER 1,000 evangelical Christian leaders had a closed door meeting with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Tuesday, June 21. While this was an encouraging development, how much hope should Christians place in Mr. Trump as a defender of biblical values?
James Walker, president of the apologetics ministry Watchman Fellowship, was one of the leaders invited to attend. He shares his thoughts about the meeting and reminds us that politics, by its nature, cannot change hearts, and so Christians should not depend on the ballot box to solve spiritual problems.
THE WORLD is heading for a cataclysmic, climactic clash of cultures. Islam and Christendom are on a collision course being orchestrated by supernatural principalities and powers. When the end comes, it will be fought between groups of people who are absolutely convinced that God is on their side.
Cris Putnam, co-author with Tom Horn of the new book The Final Roman Emperor, the Islamic Antichrist, and the Vatican’s Last Crusade, explains why so many Christians and Muslims are following false prophecies that will inevitably lead to Armageddon.
