Happy AAPI Month! This is Love, Mikaela a podcast where I talk about literally anything and everything I want to. For today's episode I wanted to revisit my thoughts on being half Japanese and my own personal experiences. These aren't huge problems and I want to reiterate that I recognize my privilege and acknowledge that in the grand scheme of things these problems are miniscule in comparison to other issues other people face. Fair warning this is a ramble-y one. Again, these are just my own personal thoughts and opinions based on my own real life experience. This episode I will be talking about my past ticketing experiences and what I’ve learned from them and all the tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way! If you just want to hear about tips I have then skip ahead to about 24 minutes in!
REUPLOAD: This week I’d like to talk about what it’s like to be kpop stan and the stigma that exists with that. I think there are a lot of people who hear the words kpop stan, and immediately their mind goes to this idea of these annoying and horrible people. And they don’t want to bother to dive any deeper into those thoughts or question why they have these preconceived ideas. And honestly, I find it tiring and annoying to have to deal with this stigma. Not only are many of these ideas and opinions just plain wrong, they’re rooted in racism, xenophobia, and misogyny.

This week I’d like to talk about the ticketing experience this time, because things were certainly different, and how and what to prep for the actual concert once you’ve got your tickets!
