Party Favorz is a series of mainstream/circuit club mixes that I started making for friends in 1999. Living in Texas at the time, the bars typically close at 2am resulting in after hours parties where everyone would gather. As soon as I showed up, everyone would ask for the party favors (music mixes), hence the name. Over the years, the mixes evolved into a variety of styles including; deep, electro, funky, progressive and tech house. In 2007, at the urging of friends, I decided to take everything online and the Party Favorz blog was born.
Whether you're gay, straight, black, white, pink or purple, Party Favorz knows no boundaries and everyone IS welcome here. Comments and suggestions are always appreciated; in fact they are encouraged.
Regardless of the play on words, this site does not promote nor endorse the use of drugs. Frankly, house music is the only drug your body needs to have a good time. Live, work, play and dance...just do it responsibly. Now on to the music!
Surprise, surprise! Not only was I able to wrap everything up this week, but I also managed to bang out the first installment of the T-Dance series for 2009. First and foremost, it?s important for me to pull back on the number of mixes I?m making per series. By doing that, I actually get to [...]
As promised, I?m serving up a second slice of some of my favorite house from 2008 mingled in with some fresh new funky tunes of the moment. I see our good friend David from Arizona is really digging it and even managed to make me jealous with his 70 degree temps. Sometimes I long for [...]
Originally this was going to be a three mix set. I had thrown in some experimental house into the mixes that I really enjoyed, but was concerned that many of you may not be ready to go on that journey with me just yet. Besides, this has been one of the longest winters in recent [...]
I never thought in a million years that I would be forced to remove a DJ Meme or Mark Pichiotti tune from my mix, but the day has arrived. It?s not even because they were bad songs; on the contrary they were quite stellar. Unfortunately, I have to look at two things when I?m forced [...]
I finally got it together to put out my first Diva Series mix for the year. Britney is something I had been wanting to do for sometime now and I?m glad I finally got it out of my system. Much like last years Madonna megamix, this is probably more Britney than most can take in [...]

First, I need to let everyone know that I changed out volume one of this mix. I was working on the final track list for the last two volumes and realized that Anny?s ?White Lipstick Girl? was on the first set, when it wasn?t supposed to be. I had previously caught it when I was [...]
Sorry for the delay, I finished up volume 4 and 5 this morning, ran some errands before it started to rain again and the next thing I know we?re have tornado and flash flood warnings and the power was out when I got back. Once I got back up, I went and downloaded Windows 7rc [...]
I probably haven?t mentioned much about my computer lately, so let me tell you what I?ve been up to. As everyone knows, I suffered a significant loss in pictures, music and important documents last year before having the chance to back everything up. Once I rectified that, I began purchasing parts each month for my [...]
Moving into the final stretch, the tunes just keep bigger and better. Starting things off, we have the follow-up to her mega-hit ?Can?t Get You Out of My Head? by Kylie Minogue. Though not as big of a radio hit, ?Love At First Sight? proved to be another massive club floor filler. Proving that her [...]
We have finally reached the end of 2002?yippee! I think going forward, I?ll split the annual editions up. For instance, when I get around to 2003, I?ll post the first three mixes one week, and the remaining volumes an alternate week about a month later. Personally, I think posting everything all at once is a [...]
I admire if not in fact worship several prominent DJs and their work, but none more than DJ Meme. From the Latin beats of his native Brazil to the uplifting disco-house romps that recall the now infamous Salsoul Orchestra, his productions always leave me in a state of amazement if not [...]
Before I get into this latest set, I?ve got some news and other information I want to share with everyone. First, I finally got my surgery scheduled and will be going under the knife on September 9th. It should be fairly simple and only require an overnight stay (barring any complications or staph infections?fingers crossed). [...]
Following up with yesterday?s post, I?ve got the final installment of CUWDM. The majority of the songs in this mix are taken from 2005 to 2007. They also show a greater diversity that includes, house, deep house, soulful, gospel and a lot of Latin beats. There are a couple of more recent [...]
I just received some last minute songs for the Chrome Edition and decided to push that off until next week. I?m guessing there will be about five maybe six mixes for that set, so I?ll most likely start rolling them out on Monday or so. In the meantime, I received a suggestion to add Annie [...]
