In this episode we discuss the events that took place during the Aston Cadet race of the Wayports Racing League, and we take a deep dive into the origins of a project to reward our simracing drivers with cryptocurrency.
We discuss Quantum, the system of decentralized finance vaults that we are creating, along with Lilium, the cryptocurrency of Wayports. We also cover the considerations that go into deciding to define value and reward members in a community, and possible pitfalls to avoid, as well as our choice of the Flow blockchain and Blocto for the wallet.
Lastly, we talk about the Blackwood GP circuit, home of the upcoming WRL race. We offer an in-depth view of the tips and tricks that will make or break your experience in that track.

Join us in the opener for Season 2 of The Undercut, which covers the third season of the Wayports Racing League. In this episode we discuss what happened at round 1, Aston Club Reverse, with the battle for the win as well as the plight of other drivers.
The guest racer for this episode is Wellington, from the Bank of Wayports, and with him we discuss his journey from Division 2 and into Division 1, as well as the changes that he went through in order to make that transition.
We also approach the importance and uniqueness that strategies have on race day, along with how it feels to have to let other drivers through while being lapped. Lastly, we discuss the upcoming race at Westhill National and the feelings that drivers have, particularly for the ones that are doing similar lap times.
We discuss races 9 and 10 of the WRL’s Season 2, and the eventful outcome for the drivers and teams championship titles. We then go on to discuss drivers’ techniques, and how that shifted throughout the season, along with changes in pace.
In this episode, Mariano also reveals a secret change in racing hardware that he made during the season and chose not to reveal to Andy, and we cover the introduction of Lilium, the cryptocurrency of Wayports, as a mean to reward the drivers of the Wayports Racing League.
We discuss the incoming changes to Season 3, along with new team names representing Wayports entities, as well as the proposed format changes and the opinions that drivers have on them. Particularly among these changes is the possibility of switching race day to Fridays, as part of a switch to a 4-day work week.
Lastly, we mention our company sessions using American Truck Simulator, how that has contributed to better communication and how it could become a starter in earning Lilium rewards for linked activity of that game within Wayports.

We explore the history between drivers in the different conditions, the difference between placing emphasis on consistency vs. being more aggressive and taking on more risks. And we make time to mention a common feature that has been an integral part of LiveForSpeed, the quick messages that we share while racing, and how that plays into habits and fun on the track.
In this episode we are joined by Santiago, from the Strings team of the Wayports Racing League, and we discuss racing with a wheel vs. a keyboard, his particular keyboard setup and approach, as well as training on-server vs. doing it on single player mode.
Then we switch gears and move on to address the drivers’ different fortunes at the Fern Bay Green Grand Prix, and how Santiago developed a race craft that allowed him to understand the logic behind real driving, losing the anxiety around that experience and deciding to get his driving license.
In this episode, we are joined by Felipe from the Bundles team, and we discuss the events from Round 4 of the Wayports Racing League. Felipe walks us through his preparation and training, as he explains also his biggest rivalry, now spanning 2 seasons.
We then go on to cover the prospects of the upcoming race at Fern Bay Green, the trickiest parts of that circuit and how each driver feels about it.
