Her research examines productivity within software development teams. She also focuses on increasing the amount of software graduates in women, LGBTQ, indigenous communities and lower socio-economic groups. She is also the host of the LGBTQ + STEM podcast and is the 2021 ambassador for Science Foundation Ireland and Smart Futures Ireland.
