I thought this would be a good idea to share as this weekend on Sept 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada also known as Orange Shirt Day. The Orange Shirt was inspired by the accounts of Phyllis Jack Webstad, whose personal clothing—including a new orange shirt—was taken from her during her first day of residential schooling, and never returned. The orange shirt is thus used as a symbol of the forced assimilation of Indigenous children that the residential school system enforced.

Stanley Milgram started this experiment as he wanted to investigate justifications for acts of genocide offered by those accused at the World War II, Nuremberg War Criminal trials. Their defense was often based on "obedience" - that they were just "following orders from their superior".
Could it be that millions of Nazis in the Holocaust were just "following orders"?
Are we all capable of such an atrocity if put in the same situation?

The ladies are in Beverly Hills catching up when the next morning they hear on the news that Dorit's home had been broken into and robbed. Come to find out that she was in the home when it happened and one of the robbers held a gun to her head while her kids were in the other room.
This was an emotional episode to watch.
I give my thoughts on how Dorit could possibly avoid this from happening again and how putting so much online can actually make us a target.

Yes, Brandon was my boyfriend...but thankfully, he was generous enough to sit with me and talk about his experiences of living on a Ojibwe reserve, the Aboriginal stereotypes he's heard from other people, and teaches us a few Ojibwe words.
We also delve into the horrific findings of the residential school children from over the years and how it has impacted him. These findings have had a huge impact on all Canadians where we've all had to reevaluate not just our history but our Aboriginal peoples during this present time.

In this episode, I speak with Gilbert, Garry and Nick about the revelations coming to light about Wanda and the world she created.
Thanks to Agatha Harkness' own magic, she was able to bring Wanda back to her childhood days with her family in Sokovia right before being hit by a bomb, made by Star Industries, which killed both her parents but not her or her brother.
Agatha brings her back again to the time Wanda was used as HYDRA's experiment for the Mind Stone and the audience comes to realise that Wanda had power all along, and the Mind Stone just amplified it.
And lastly, the moment Wanda started to fall for Vision.
So, does Agatha want Wanda's power or just to teach her how to harness it to her full potential?
Did you watch the mid credit scene? We find out what Director Hayward did with the pieces of Vision's body.
Hayward did lie to Rambeau, Darcy and Woo about Wanda breaking into S.W.O.R.D when the truth is, she was invited inside. So why did lie?
Could there be another villain besides Agatha Harkness that will be revealed in episode 9?
So many questions...We talk about all of this and so much more!

A new reality show has entered the Netflix Sphere and I'm here for it!
It's called "Bling Empire" - I only watched the first episode of the season but as a self-proclaimed reality show junkie, I'll give you my thoughts on it, so far...
What is "Bling Empire" about? Well, think "Crazy Rich Asians" but the reality show version.
Overall, I like the cast and there's already some drama in the first episode. So, in other words....it has potential.
I'll binge-watch the rest and then provide my feedback on that later.
