We still have room to grow, but we have learned a lot and want to share with you. Our 6 year old Scarlett will join us for the ride, and give you a child’s perspective in this journey. The Oogie Boogie Bash is easily Disney's biggest park event. Because of this everyone wants to get tickets, and that can make getting tickets more difficult.
We are here to help you out in this endeavor. We are here to tell you what dates are available; with the costs associated to each day. We will also tell you where to get the ticket, and any other event related questions you may have.
Details of the event have yet to be released, but we will tell you what we think will be there based on past events.

Disney's Destination D23 didn't have a lot of news pertaining to Disneyland Resort (as it focused on the other parks), but there was some interesting reports that we feel could affect the park in the future.
We also got our first looks at the newly opened Tiana's Palace in New Orleans Square, and we have new friends visiting us in Galaxies Edge.

There has been a lot of little changes happening at the Disneyland Resort that we want to bring to you. Changes to the Briar Patch, and the completion of SanFranSokyo Square.
Beyond that, of course, we must talk about spooky season at the Disneyland Resort. If you don't know, halloween season starts at Disneyland and DCA on September 1st; and it is our favorite time of year at the parks.

We are back talking Disneyland on this Monday!
We recently had a talk with our family about a Disneyland Vacation, and after looking, we discovered that it is not that easy. Planning for a small family is pretty standard for the Disneyland Resort, so everything is tailored for that.
As you start to add more people the tougher it gets. With it fresh on our mind we wanted to talk about it here. This will not be a series, but will be something we update in future episodes. We will discuss our thought process, and let you know any tips and tricks that we find.
Once that trip gets here next year we will hopefully have a good plan to share with anyone who wants to do a Disneyland trip with a large party.

We are back, and continuing our list of Disneyland Resort Rides and Attractions!
Before we get into that we have some Disneyland Resort news to share. Some fun merch and meet&greets are sweeping throughout the resort for the summer months, and we want to make sure you are aware of them.
We also want to make you aware of that Oogie Boogie Bash tickets will go on sell next week! They go fast, so you need to be ready if you want to go. We go every year and we love this event. Go back and listen to Episodes 2, 14 and 17 if you want to hear about what we think makes that event so magical.
We ranked each land in the Disneyland Resort, and used that as a way to organizing the ratings of each ride in the parks. Last episode we rated Rides & Attractions on a scale of 1-10 in "Hollywood Land", "Sanfransokyo/Pacific Wharf" and "Buena Vista Street." Those being our lowest rated lands there were obviously filled with less than exciting rides/attractions. That is no the case for the rides in this episode.
This episode we cover three heavy hitter, well-known, lands. "Critter Country," "Paradise Garden" and "Tomorrowland." You may be surprised to see some of these this low on the list, but we explain why in the episode. Splash Mountain and Space Mountain are two of the most iconic rides in all Disney Parks, and we understand the love that people have for these lands. We would love for to message us about where you would rank these, and why these lands should be higher on the list.

It is called 'Rogers the Musical,' and it is loosely based on the events of the first Avengers movie. It was first seen as a part of the Hawkeye series on Disney+ if you want to get an idea of what to expect.
We also got a lot of updates on construction for Toon Town, The French Market/Tiana's Palace, Pacific Wharf/Sanfransokyo, and other projects throughout the resort.

Hello everyone we are to talk about an important service that Disneyland Resort and Parks offers to their patrons. The Disability Access Service, or DAS, Pass is not new to the parks, but its rules and guidelines are. We want to walk you through the process of acquiring the DAS Pass, as well as how to navigate your day as the parks with the DAS Pass.
It can be tricky and there are a lot of people who misinterpret the system. We hope to provide clarity, so that you do not have to stress or worry when going to the parks.
Be aware that the rules for who does, and does not, qualify for the DAS Pass has recently changed. So you may not qualify any more. Still we encourage everyone, who thinks they may qualify, to contact Disneyland 30 days ahead of their trip anyways. The cast member on the the live chat will be able to give the most comprehensive and up to date information on the DAS Pass. They can also help you prepare if you have a disability, but do not qualify for the pass.

Disney's California Adventure (DCA) is gearing up for another event for the New Year. The Lunar New that is. Every year Disneyland holds a Valentines day event while DCA holds a much less talked about Lunar New Year Event, and we want to talk about it.
Lunar New Year at DCA is a small event that doesn't require a special event ticket, and it is a lot of fun! They have a lot of shows, specialty foods, and a new sipper. We will post more about it as its January 20th start date approaches.

The much maligned Disney CEO Bob Chapek has informed the Disney company that he is stepping down. In response Disney reached out to former CEO Bob Iger to return.
Iger was replaced by Chapek in February of 2020, but stayed with the company until the end of 2021. Iger is reported to reach a two year deal to return as CEO. During that he will be searching for, and grooming, the next CEO.
Iger has a lot of experience within the Disney company, and was very popular during his time there. Chapek was dealt a rough draw with the pandemic at the start of his tenure, but there was a lot of decision by him that remain very unpopular among fans, Cast Members, and others within the company.
No telling how quickly Iger will look to implement change, and remove some of Chapek's policies. What can we expect then, and what is our initial reactions to this news? listen up and find out.

With D23 came a lot of exciting announcement for the future of Disneyland Resort and California Adventure. There were even some fun announcements for the hotels and Downtown Disney.
We are here to guide you through the news, and what it means for the future of the park. There was even big news in that there was no news on some major parts of Disneyland. If you are curious as to what that means tune in to find out.

Opening night for the Oogie Boogie Bash has finally made it to Disney's California Adventure, and Halloween time has officially started at the Disneyland Resort.
We are here to talk about all the new characters and treats for this years OBB, and what makes us the most excited. Disney really went all out with characters this year and you are not going to want to miss some of them.
There are a lot of treat at Disneyland this year. We will do our best to tell you all about them, and hopefully get you as excited as we are.

As our show grows we are finding new ways to bring you everything Disneyland. We will start off every episode with Gabriella giving us some Disneyland News, and then move on to our topic of Choice. This episode we are talking Genie and Genie+.
Genie being so new we felt it was a good idea to explain what Genie/Genie+ is and how to use it. It has been a confusing process to start, but after some time it has become an extremely useful tool at the park. Join the conversation to help enhance your Disneyland experience.

Let's talk about the essentials when it comes to packing for Disneyland. Now, there is more to packing than what we are covering here, but this is a great place to start. We are using lists from disneyland.disney.go.com and from undercovertourist.com to use as talking points, but we do our best to elaborate and expand upon those lists. Proper packing can be huge when it comes to saving money on your trip. Last thing you want is to get the park and then have to pay inflated prices for items you could have easily gotten from home. Proper packing can also save you from pains, and stress, once you get there and realize you forgot something. If you prepare for your trip properly you will be more free to enjoy your time and have a magical Disney vacation.
