In celebration of the release of OLD, three brothers are on a journey through the entirety of M. Night Shyamalan’s filmography, finding the good, the bad, and the weird in them all. Our long-held shameless devotion to Shyamalan will be tried and tested, from his little-known debut features, to The Sixth Sense, and yes, even The Last Airbender. Twists will be spoiled, tangents will be had, enlightenment will be reached.
We’ve finally made it. Though we’ve aged a couple years since we started this journey, we’re knocking on your cabin door one last time. Join us as we close out our trip through the many worlds of M. Night.
Beware the Pothole. You’ll learn why if you listen in to this episode of Shameless Shyamalan! We go a little technical on this one, as we tend to do with movies we’re not the biggest fans of. That doesn’t mean there aren’t interesting things to discuss though, we still love us some M. Night! Prepare for the end with the penultimate (for now) episode of our journey. After a bit of a hiatus, we’re back with the latest episode of Shameless Shyamalan! This time, we cover Split, the movie that launched our man back into the spotlight, and there’s a lot we have to say about it as both a film and as another touchpoint in the Shyamalan story.
