For the first E-Comversation of the 2021-22 school year, we spoke with Scott Siragusa regarding his journey from Laurier to his role at Shopify. Scott has been working at Shopify for almost 6 years in various positions which include outbound sales, expanding segment, and now works as an upgrades coach. Graduating with a BBA degree in 2015, Scott provided us with many pieces of advice to those interested in pursuing a career in E-Commerce, Brand Communication, and Marketing. He guided us through his journey about what inspired him, how the people around him gave him advice, and the importance of a mentor. Scott also explained what he has been noticing about the industry and how the pandemic has has an effect and what is in-store for Shopify in the coming years.
