Rob talks about his depression when the Celts didn’t close out game 6 at home not only because he wanted Boston to get their rest, but he felt like a kid that lost his favorite toy when he couldn’t attend his men’s league game. He talks about the Celtics prevailing in Sunday’s game 7 while it may have been close to the worst in-game late collapse in history, but the Celtics are back in the NBA Championship and doing this!!! Been dreaming of this since early elementary school!!!! He also talks about how he’s been on top of the world due to them this week; the moment we’ve been waiting for. Rob also breaks down game 1 of the Finals from Thursday night against the Warriors from Chase Center and gives his recap where the Celtics showed the resilient team they’ve been all year in the fourth quarter.

Sweeping the Brooklyn Nets and Kyrie Irving is like winning a championship, especially when you said yourself the Nets aren’t scary and how Boston was last year and the first half of this season. I talk about how this could be one of the best defenses ever with how Boston just played those two and Tatum winning the challenge against KD on both ends. Marcus Smart is another blessing to this amazing team and their turnaround. Feeling for Philly fans and the Embiid injury. I end with Conference Semifinal Projections.
I go over a magical Easter Sunday at TD Garden while talking about how villainous Kyrie can’t be surprised. This entertainment is good for this Finals-like series with him trying to fight back. Fenway chants aren’t really surprising either if you’re a Bostonian. I also go through all the other first round series as well and tweak some predictions.
After talking down on the Nets and wondering why teams are dodging them, the highly anticipated Nets-Celtics Finals-like series is here! Rob talks about his jitters all week. He talks a Simmons and Timelord potential return while laughing at Bruce Brown’s comments. Rob then talks about how there’s no wrong choice for MVP before giving his All-NBA teams and predicting the opening round.
After taking the weekend off, I talk about what I was thinking during the Celtics/Bucks game Thursday night and how it turned out leading into last night. I speak on a potential series with Brooklyn after discussing how they have looked less and less fearful. I then give my awards before ending with Play-In projections.
The Lakers and their two most-talked about stars had funny headlines today and yesterday after being eliminated in embarrassing fashion. I show the Clippers love again while explaining why the Bucks and Celtics are showing their confidence.
