In this episode Eloise Hall and Dr Gabrielle Golding Discuss the ins and outs of paid menstrual leave in the workplace, why it's popular and also why it's contended. If you are curious about this policy as either an employee or an employer, this episode is for you!
Dr Golding is the new Associate Dean of Law at the University of Adelaide. Dr Goldings' specialty of research has recently focussed on the intersection of employment and contract law. Gabby holds a PhD in employment and contract law, a Master of Laws and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from ANU. She also has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (Politics) from the University of Adelaide.

Welcome to Part 2 of our three part endometriosis series. In Part 1 we heard from the incredible Dr Louise Hull who gave us the run-down on what endometriosis is from a clinical perspective. In this episode, we wanted to hear from someone who has the lived experience of endometriosis. Today Eloise and Ophelia are joined by Libby Parker who was diagnosed with endo at the age of 36. She has experienced some of the worst forms of endometriosis and the other problems that can come with it. We discuss the financial burden endo can cause, how it affects her day-to-day life and her journey to start a family.

Endometriosis is a condition associated with menstruation which affects 1 in 9 people assigned female at birth in Australia. If you don’t know what endometriosis is, then you’re about to find out! We are kicking off the series with an interview with Associate Professor Doctor Louise Hull. Louise is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who specialises in endometriosis, a fertility specialist at Embrace Fertility here in Adelaide, and an associate professor in reproductive medicine. Today I am joined by Izzy and we are chatting to Grace Tame! If you don’t recognise this name, then you’ve been living under a rock. Grace was awarded 2021 Australian of the Year for her advocacy for survivors of sexual assault. She was also named by Times Magazine as a Next Generation Leader for 2021.
Now there are plenty of interviews already out there about Grace’s personal story. But today we want to focus more on what she’s advocating for, her relationship with her period, the corrupt culture we are living in but also the power of love to oppose it.
